They do a full medical care. I pay for it on a yearly basis, $32.95 a month. It covers everything. You make an appointment, you take them in and they fix it. The fact that I paid for the program is one of the major things that keeps me going back. I feel comfortable with my pet here. I've been using them for 3 years.

They are really good. I like all of the vets there. They act like they are people and children instead of dogs and cats. One time I took my toy poodle and they said her mommy is waiting. I've been taking my pets their since July 2013 and November 2014.

The ladies at Banfield pet hosptial in Mt. Pleasant are awesome and by and quot;ladiesand quot; I mean Dr, Minor, Dr. Venezio and Dr. Scherer. Each one has treated my pet and each time I came way feeling completely confident that Zak was getting excellent care and, indeed, he did. Most recently, Dr. Venezio flat out saved his life with some emergency surgery to remove a huge Lipoma that was about to take him out. She offered the option of transferring him elsewhere to a and quot;board certified surgeonand quot; but when I asked if she could do it, herself, today, she didn't hesitate. Easy and best decision that I ever made for Zak. He is 11 1/2 and 9 days after surgery is acting like a puppy again. Since I no longer have the option of naming my first child after her, I am going to call my first grandkid and quot;Dr. V.and quot;

We get medicines for my dogs from Banfield Pet Hospital once a month and about two weeks ago we got medicine from them. They have a wellness plan and I think it is $16 or may $20 a month and you just pay that. Not everybody does it, but I have got two dogs and I pay the wellness. For that you get a percentage off of all prescriptions. I do not have to pay for any time I go. I do not have to pay the office visit. They have two wellness checks a year, which means my dogs stay there for several hours and they get a physical. They get a physical twice a year and all their shots are included in that. So I cannot tell you how much I pay for anything, however for any surgery I would have to pay. For the medicines, I do have to pay but it is a discount. They are all incredibly good with the dogs. They are all very knowledgeable. The first time Bill bit me, I took him over and it was something totally out of character for him to bite. He growls whatever, but does not bite and just out of no where the doctor said lets check his thyroid level that can sometimes cause aggression and Bill had almost no thyroid. So, he has been on thyroid ever since and he has been fine, except when we were at my mother's and Jim thought I was giving him the pills and I thought Jim was and so for about three weeks he did not have the pills and that is why he bit me. People at the hospital are really knowledgeable. They are innovative. They are really, and I am talking not just the vets but everybody there is very very good with the animals. Banfield Pet Hospital is clean. They are very busy, so you sometimes have to wait a little bit, usually not very long and we had to take Bill over as a matter of an emergency one Sunday morning and we did have to wait, however they kept him and they did everything that was necessary.

I like the veterinarians very much but you have to wait an hour for your appointment and that is an appointment, I do not like the waiting. They need to address that. They are compassionate. They are good veterinarians. Their waiting time really affects me. It is an appointment; I want to be seen by him within fifty minutes unless it is an emergency. I have not ever gone when we have not waited for an hour or so. You are holding a dog and all the other dogs are barking there. I think they are a little high in terms of price. I would use them again in the future.

We had been using Banfield for several months. They had been pretty good taking care of our cat. He is a pretty gentle guy until we take him to the vet, then he has some alter ego that comes out. In the past Banfield had been patient with him. Then on his last visit, he bit one of the Techs. There wasn't much said about it until the county left a quarantine notice on our door. Apparently the Tech went to the Dr. for the bite and Dr. notified the county. Let me think, they work with animals... Shouldn't the Tech be aware the fact that animals might be afraid when there? I mean, isn't that their job to work with animals? I don't mean they should know how to be bitten by crazy loco animals but maybe know how not to get bit? I can understand about being concerned but the wanted us to give proof of shots, Banfeild did all the shots, then the can was not allowed out of the house or he would be incarcerated. Hmm... cat jail?
Won't be going back there again!

We've been using them for three years now. All the vets are very concerned about your animal and actually consider your animal a kid. The staff is all good.
