Service person diagnosed the problem and overall we were very satisfied with his quality of work and corresponding advice.

Assuming the part arrives in a few days, just great. By putting in my model number on the Landreth website, I was able to see both the parts list and the associated schematic. As it turns out, the part I needed (plastic handle) is part of an assembly, so I called the number shown on the website, got someone very quickly who advised that the handle was part of an assembly, gave me a price, took my order, and wished me a nice day. Assuming my engineering degree is sufficient to allow me to open up the door and replace the assembly, I am well on my way to a return to automated dishwashing, vice in-the-sink dishwashing! :c)

Our 14 year old Maytag washer displayed a ND on the panel, which meant the drain was not working. I called Landreth, and they asked for the model number in case a new pump was needed and scheduled the service for Friday. Johnny Landreth arrived Friday at the scheduled time, removed the panel from the machine, and determined that the pump was not working. He put in a new pump and got it working, but it was leaking somewhere in the housing. He advised that to repair plus the cost of the pump would total about $400. We decided that it was probably time to get a new washer. He removed the pump he had installed, and charged us only $85 for the visit, even though he had spent at least 2 hours there. We found him to be honest, competent and knowledgeable, as well as very nice.

Landreth's responded promptly and were on site within 4 hours of my call. The repair was done quickly with the parts replaced and the refrigerator back in service. I was very satisfied with the service. I, too, experienced the telephone issues others have mentioned. While the person on the phone was clearly knowledgeable, his attitude was somewhat less than and quot;customer-friendlyand quot;. However, he promptly got the required facts and dispatched a technician. The service and the end result were completely satisfactory. I would recommend customers not be put off by the telephone experience. I was charged $75 for one hour of labor plus 2 parts.

my first time using Angie's List - I looked for the provider with the most positive reviews and gave them a call. The guy on the phone - didn't know what he was talking about. BUT the guy who came - identified the problem correctly immediately and fixed it in no time. I saw one and quot;Fand quot; review which described a phone experience. I agree - whoever answers the phone didn't listen or diagnose properly. My husband was out of town but I had already called him and knew what the problem was - just needed someone honest to fix it. In spite of the phone experience, I let them come based on the reviews I read. I paid less than the estimate (because less of a problem than the phone guy thought). Overall, the technician knew what he was doing, came when he said and got it fixed. Charged $75/hr for labor which I thought was a little high (my expectations were around $50/hr but I rarely call a repair person). He got in and out in about 30 minutes and the washing machine runs like new.

My side-by-side refrigerator stopped working. Fortunately I have a spare refrigerator (an oldie but goodie) in my basement which I promptly plugged in, let cool down, and moved everything from upstairs to downstairs. I checked Angie's List and saw that Landreths was highly rated. I called on a Thursday afternoon and Mr. Landreth said he'd be at my house Friday afternoon. Friday afternoon, the doorbell rang and there he was.
After a quick diagnosis, a repair was made and my refrigerator was as good as new. Yes, I will call Landgreths when my next appliance decides to take a holiday!

Based on the current reviews, (All A's), I called Landreth Appliance Service and was not disappointed. He was very friendly, professional, and came within 24 hours. The washing machine, which I thought was a gonner, was repaired, like new. Service charge, which covered all the labor, was very reasonable, and he brought the necessary parts with him and the cost for those was reasonable as well. It took less than one hour and he left the work area clean. Will not hesitate to recommend or use again!

The technician arrived on time, gave me the exact amount of the parts needed for the initial service call, and came after hours to fit my schedule. I was very pleased with his service and will use him again. if needed. He was very professional and treated me with respect.

The service technician called about 30 minutes before they were on there way to confirm the appointment. Corrected the problem and the bill was reasonable. Very professional. I would definitely use Landreths Applicance Service in the future.

I thought my washer was slinging grease on my clothes so I called Landreth's. They returned my call later in the afternoon then called again first thing the next morning and arrived right away. My washer does not have a transmission so there was no grease involved. The technician checked out the washer which was fine, and noticed the detergent and fabric softener nearby. He told me there was a build-up of detergent and sofener which was getting on my clothes. I showed him a towel with the spots, and he was able to verify that it was detergent and fabric sofener build-up. He told me to run the clothes through the washer again with a cup of vinegar. When he left, I followed his directions, and the spots came right out of my clothes.
The technician's name was Wade, and he brought a female technician with him which really put me at ease since I am a female and happened to be at home alone at the time. They were courteous, professional, and honest.

essor away to be rebuilt. The whole staff worked to repair an older hard-to-find oven part. Though it took four weeks to reorder a new part (it had to be rebuilt). Wade and Elizabeth came to my house 4 times to work on my oven to make sure it was working perfectly. They were responsive and returned phone calls promptly. I'm positive they saved me from having to replace my whole oven. I couldn't have had a better experience!

The first time he came out he fixed the dryer and it worked just fine but it was an older model and it broke again later. He came back out to repair it again and didn't charge us at all. We were so happy with him that we paid him for the work anyway.
