Description of Work: I had some shingles fall off my roof. They contacted me immediately, came right away to look at job and I had written estimate within 24 hours and a time completion for the job within 3 days ( there was no rush needed for this job ) the person who had to repair the roof was unable to come twice. He did communicate with me. When he did come the roof was correctly fixed and he did a great job matching the current shingle.

Description of Work: The roof vent on our house was damaged, allowing water to leak into the attic. We needed the removal of the damaged vent, installation of a new roof vent and replacement of damaged plywood and shingles. They were able to get someone out fairly quickly and took care of it. We've used Williford Roofing in the past and have been pleased with everything they've done for us. |

Description of Work: I am uncertain of the dates, am just making time to get on and review. But my only complaint, is on the communication with work crew about finishing touches (soffits). Had a huge hole in roof from storm, roof was older, needed a new roof. They were out there on the first weather worthy day. They were fast, but still thorough in replacing plywood, felt and shingles. It has probably been near a year, and the roof looks great, no problems.

+ -1 moreI got about five estimates for this re-roofing job. Boiled that down to three. The highest estimate was about $1,000 above the lowest. I eliminated that one. The lowest estimate was about $400 below the middle one. Since I had used the middle one (Williford) twice previously and knew they did a good job, I really wanted to use them again. They agreed to lower their price $200 and I hired them. The work was done extremely well. About six or seven workers arrived about 7:30 am. They worked steadily until about 12:30pm when they took a half-hour luch break, then continued until about 6:30pm. They returned the next morning for about four hours to complete the job. They cleaned the grounds extremely well and hauled away all the job debris. I couldn't have asked for a better clean-up!
Description of Work: Removed existing layer of shingles to wood deck. Replaced plywood at several places and installed 30-lb felt paper over entire roof. Installed 33 squares of GAF-Elk Timberline 30-yr. architectural shingles with a shingled roof vent, an aluminum drip cap around entire perimeter, with an adhesive applied between the starter shingle and the drip cap. All plumbing vents were re-flashed with a rubber boot. Also a Tamko Moisture Guard Plus Water Shield Membrane was installed in all valleys, wall flashings, skylites and protrusions.
