With our office located directly in the myrtle beach area we have been a leader in the energy improvement market since our inception in 2009.

From start to finish working with the guys at Carolina Energy Conservation was a pleasure. Jimmy stopped by first to check that we had adequate insulation and weren't losing energy through leaky doors and windows. Then Jimmy and Tom stopped by to design the system we needed. We were lucky enough to get a quick install date and a week before install Ricardo stopped by to check the layout and ensure the integrity of the roof. Install day arrived and Ricardo, Tim and Eddie showed up on time and ready to install. Over the next four days they installed the panels (with the help of Nick and George) and all associated wiring on the roof, in the attic and in the garage. This was in 90 degree weather and I was glad I didn't have to do it. Each day when they left everything was cleaned up and you couldn't tell they had been there except for the work that was performed. They did an extremely clean install from the roof to the garage with no exposed wiring or cuts in the walls. Finally on Day five the electric company came and switched the meter the inspector came and approved everything and we were up and running. The system has been operating flawlessly since and I can't wait for my first electric bill or should I say lack there of. After the first week of operation in 90 degree weather we have produced slightly more energy than we have used. I'm very happy I decided on Solar. I believe I'll save some money, keep a little carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and maybe save a little of the earth's resources for my grandchildren. I'm also very happy I chose Carolina Energy Conservation to do the work, they were professional, on time and a pleasure to deal with.

It went well. First of all they did the job two weeks ahead of schedule. On 2/23/2016 the install crew put the brackets on my roof that would hold the solar panels. The second day they installed the panels. The next step of the process occurred the next day when the Beaufort County, SC inspector came out to ensure that they install process met the standards. After that the next step in the process was for Palmetto Electric to come to the house and change out the meter and then I was good to go!

"Ms. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry to hear that you have tried to reach out to our office to schedule your work and haven't heard back. I personally oversee the office on a day to day basis and would like to get this corrected immediately. Tristan, who did come out on December 15, 2015 is no longer employed with our company so if you attempted to follow up with him directly and couldn't reach us i am extremely sorry. However, if you tried to call our office line, all of our calls are trackable. if you could let me know the date you attempted to call our office i can verify the call and insure you called the correct number. Additionally, I hope you have taken the time to read the messages i have personally sent to you through Angie's List attempting to schedule this work. If not, you will see a message from 1/19/2016 asking if you are ready to schedule, then again on 3/29/2016 i followed up again through Angie's List asking if you were ready to schedule for your 500 sq. ft. of insulation. Beyond these messages sent directly through Angie's List, i have also personally called and left a message for you once a month on the phone number provided to us (ending in 2646) checking on your availability to schedule this work. I will again attempt to schedule this work with you both by phone and e-mail today. If you would prefer we would also happily refund your purchase back. I look forward to hearing back from you. I decided to find a project to upgrade my home, so I called this company about my insulation. After the estimate ($3,000), I started getting harassed to schedule a date to do the work. That raised suspicion, so I got a second opinion. Turns out, the insulation I have now is better than code, so further insulation was recommended.

This fantastic crew came in and first installed Solar Tubes and now my home has LIGHT! Next, they evaluated my attic! No wonder we were freezing. They could literally see into the house from the attic. The amount of existing insulation was negligible, and it is a wonder it wasn't falling though. They started the process of removing the old insulation and then came in and sealed all the areas where heat/air was escaping. Next they blew in the appropriate amount of insulation. Then, the awesome guys.....Ryan Powers and Devin Moran told me about their vapor barrier for our crawl space! Yikes....another place to loose more heating and cooling.
I am having them return to estimate the cost of the vapor barrier.
These guys are the best and I'm very picky about work done around my home. So....if you want the best give them a call!
