It was easy to get up an appointment with Caleb to have him give us an estimate for our move.  He arrived promptly, reviewed our situation, and gave us an estimate that was priced in line with the other movers we contacted.  He was very nice, we actually went to the same college so it was like "old home week".  He didn't really "sell" his company, but he willingly answered questions about his business.
We chose another mover that our Realtor recommended, but that's not a knock on Caleb or his company.

Very fast and professional. Will use again in the future and have already recommended to family and friends.

Caleb and I had email communication to set up this move. His responses were prompt and he was able to work within my budget. 
Caleb and his crew arrived at the designated time. Everyone was happy, friendly and courteous despite the cold rainy/icy weather..  They worked quickly, efficiently and carefully. They were sensitive to any special needs we had. 
I overestimated the amount of room I had on my first floor to put the contents. They guys were kind enough to bring some things up stairs even though I had originally promised them they wouldn't have to..and no one complained! :)
The guys put everything exactly where I wanted it. 
My bill was where I expected it to be.
I would definitely recommend Caleb and his crew to my friends and I would use his service again when needed!

These guys are professional and provide excellent service.  The owner, Caleb, came to our apartment to do a free in-person price estimate.  His price quote ended up being exactly accurate, and I loved having no surprises after the move cost was totaled.  These 3 guys moved us from our third floor apartment (without an elevator!) to a house.  They brought a truck (one less hassle for us) and worked very, very quickly.  They were very careful with our possessions and absolutely NOTHING was damaged!  I have moved many times in my life, and I have never experienced zero damage or breaks to possessions.  Ready Set Movers really impressed me overall and though I don't plan to move again anytime soon, I would definitely hire them again.

Caleb and his crew moved us from Goose Creek to Del Webb Cane Bay. From providing the estimate to packing and movung us they were great. On time and efficient in their actions. Can't imagine the entire process going any smoother. Great job guys!

Very smooth from first contact to get the quote and all through the move itself. The gentlemen were polite and very careful of our home and belongings.

From start to finish everything went smoothly. Before the move Caleb stayed in touch and responded promptly with answers to our questions. On the day of the move Caleb and crew arrived when they said they would and within minutes they were loading the truck. The funiture was wrapped, mattresses covered and nothing went in the truck unprotected. Watching them was an amazing display of efficency. They were both fast and careful in both houses, never hitting any walls. The whole crew was polite and pleasant and I would be happy to recommend Ready Set Movers to anyone. In the end moving all my household items turned out to be easier then moving my phone or cable.

Overall, they were excellent. They get an A+ for everything. They even brought an extra person than promised and did not charge extra. Nothing was damaged at all. They would even put the items in the correct areas and did a little unpacking as well. I would highly recommend them. The workers were very professional and a group of good guys.

I wish these young guys well. They mean well. But they are not up to snuff. They never alerted us to checking on insurance to see if our household items were insured, or if we had to buy it. They just turned up with the forms. They did give a good estimate, but they forgot most of the things we discussed on the phone. They were supposed to move everything in one day. They filled up the truck 2/3rds of the way and went to the new location; they came back and filled up the truck totally and went back -- but when 5 o'clock came, off they went, with still materials left in the old house.  We had to spend a full day ourselves moving more materials out they left. When we told them we were unhappy with the service, they came back... They charged us for mileage from their start to our house, etc. even though they were technically finishing work they should have completed on the first day.  Hard to believe it, but each time they came to our house, first day and last, THEY DID NOT BRING BOXES. So, again, on the second day back,  they did not pick up everything in the house, and again, we had to spend time packing and moving the items they left behind a second time.
They are nice guys, personable and careful and I hope the company is a success. But they need some polish and follow through.

Caleb and his team did an excellent job moving my furniture.  I had a one bedroom apartment in West Ashley and was moving to a two story house in Mount Pleasant (about a 30 minute drive).  The move was completed quickly and in much less time than I had anticipated - less then 2 1/2 hours.  The movers consisted of 3 people - Caleb and two assistants.  They were very careful with all of my furniture, which included a leather bed and a heavy Ethan Allen entertainment center.  All of my furniture was moved without any damage to the furniture or to the hardwood floors in my home.  The price was great and definitely worth it.  I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs movers!

Moving is something I don't look forward to but Caleb and Clai were personable, big and strong young men who made the move look easy.  Their rate was more than fair.  Many thanks to Caleb and Clai.

The guys were on time, professional and both of my daughters (one at the pick up and one at the delivery) were both impressed with their professionalism, promptness and thoroughness - nothing was damaged - everything arrived on time - we were very pleased with their service.

Well, I called them on a Saturday around 11am and left a message.  They finally got back with me late Saturday to set up an appointment.  I talked with Caleb, and he set up an appointment to come and give an estimate on Tuesday the 6th of August at 11am.  I was all ready for him on Tue. and 11 came and went, and I gave him till about noon and then I called the office and spoke with him.  I told him who I was and that he had had an appt. at 11 and he sat for a minute and then said oh yea, I forgot.  That was not a good start to the whole process because my first thought was, if you can't remember an apt to give me an estimate will you remember to come and get my stuff on the correct day and time.  I gave them a 2nd chance and set it up for that Friday at 2, and then that time wasn't going to work for us, so I called on Thur. to change it and it was obvious he had forgotten we had an apt on Friday, but I went ahead and let him set up one for Saturday.  He said how about 1 pm and I said that works.  Well, 1pm came and went, and finally at 2 he showed up.  He was very nice, but there was never an apology for missing the other apt or anything.  He went through our house and did his thing, I told him the dates we needed and he said I would have a quote emailed to me no later than Sunday afternoon.  I finally got a response from him about 8pm and he said they couldn't do it on the day we needed would another day work.  I had told him the day our house was closing and he wanted to pick up our furniture the day after that, which of course can't work.  He said, well, I don't think we will be able to help you out and never gave me an estimate like I had asked for.
They may be an awesome company for some people, but we didn't have a good experience with them at all, it was as if they never wanted to deal with us from the beginning.  Not a very professional way of handling potential customers who are going to pay you good money.

They did a great job. Their interation with me was fantastic. They were professional and on time. The pricing was reasonable compared to other movers. I would highly recommennd.

I have moved many times in my life so I've had many experiences with moving companies. I've had good experiences and terrible ones too. These guys are the best! They were professional, friendly and punctual. Would definitely recommend them.

I had a couple of very heavy garage furnishings delivered and the feight company did not include removing them from the pallets and placing them.  I needed assistance with doing this work.  The Movers were very prompt in setting a time to come do the work and I explained to them the nature and weights of the items to be moved. The person I spoke to saif they would send the right equipmetn and manpower for the job.
The Movers arrived and they were two relatively small guys with a small furniture dolly.  After showing them the furnishings, they said they woluld be back shortly with more help.  They came back in about an hour with two big guys and a hevay duty dolly.  30 minutes later, they were done.
Good job with only  a minor miscommunication.  I would use them again.  No additional charges were requested for the return trip and additional help even though it too them more time than their original estimate!

When a wardrobe box was left in the closet and the box would not fit through the closet door.  Caleb placed the unboxed clothes on top of everything else.  While packing, the dining room floor was scratched.  Thank goodness my antique Coke machine was on tile flooring.  I had to scrub the marks they left on the floor.  The trim was also damaged when the crew moved the Coke machine.
After arriving in Charlotte, I have found damage on numberous pieces of furniture.  Yes, the furniture had been used by a family and had marks and scratches, but there are many "new" marks and scratches on the furniture. 
Caleb and his crew was very courteous and placed the furniture anywhere that I wanted.  But, the crew was in too big of a hurry to get home and to the next big job the next day.

Caleb is extremely pleasant, as are the guys he has working for him.  He goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy and get everything they need and expect.  Absolutely flawless job!

My wife and I want to thank you for making our move so easy....and even fun!  
As you may recall, you moved us two blocks from one house to another in the same day and, at my request, even made it two trips.  At my age it is no longer a fun challenge to move boxes from the second floor of one house to the third floor of another; thanks for the use of your young legs.
You and your crew are good people and made the job easy for us with your friendly professionalism.  We appreciate that you showed up on time and that you, Tyler, Ryan and Clai had such good attitudes.  You guys really performed to the goal and not just a list of tasks.  
Also, thank you for taking good care not to mark the walls in either house.  You guys helped us with our goal of leaving the "from" house in good shape and keeping the "to" house unblemished.
It was nice that we could call you and ask for some additional assistance the next day.  We had changed our minds and some boxes on the first floor had to go up to the third and vice versa.   I also had Clai and Ryan move the big exercise machine one foot closer to the wall and, as you remember the exercise machine, that is quite a feat for two men.
All in all, you and your team worked swiftly and efficiently with smiles on your faces and cheer in your hearts. We got our money's worth plus!  We will most definitely use Read Set Movers in the future and recommend you to our family, friends and acquaintances.

The whole experience was great. Caleb, the owner, did the in home estimate. He immediately emailed me an estimate. We agreed upon the date and time of the move. Several weeks later he contacted me with a request to change the time of the move. It worked for us and because we were willing to be flexible they added in another mover for no cost. It was a very nice gesture and we were very appreciative. On moving day he gave me updates on when the moving team would arrive at our condo. They were prompt and quick to get started. The guys finished moving all the items in slightly less time than estimated so they were able to finish the job under the original estimated cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Moving is a huge hassle, but these guys made it a much better experience for me and my wife than our previous moves had been.

The professionalism and responsiveness of this company's owner was unparalleled during our recent moving experience. He responded quickly in both showing up to perform a walk through of our moving needs and provide an estimate when promised. He also answered the phone and all of my questions prior to the move. On moving day, he and a very courteous, professional staff arrived on time to do the job. All of his employees were personable, courteous and paid attention to what they were doing. The move went off without a hitch with fewer hours than estimated and no damage. I have moved about 20 times, so I have a large amount of experience to base this opinion on. It was the easiest move I have ever had. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company.

Excellent experience!!  Caleb is a super nice guy and came and visited to get a detailed estimate.  On moving day, Caleb and his employee were incredible!!  They had our place emptied and no time and took care to wrap our furniture and but mattresses in bags.  They were so good I hired them to empty a storage locker and move it to my house a week later.  HIGHLY recommended!!!
