TERI'S TILE

Teri was very prompt with her estimate and started when she said she would. I had explained to her it was our only bathroom and I had to have the commitment that she would not start the project and leave to work on another job, once she started I wanted her to return every day until done. However there was a day where she did not show up and didn't call, and a day she went to work on another job.Overall I was very pleased with her work and would hire her again.

Our real estate agent hired Teri to repair a leaky shower floor prior to closing the purchase of our home. She did a great job, so we called her again to install a porcelain tile floor on our new screened porch. She was responsive and professional, and provided us with a written estimate. We purchased the tile with her recommendations and stacked it on the porch. Her company did the rest.
She showed up with her staff on time and the work was completed in two days. Chris, who installed the tile, has been with her for at least nine years. He did a terrific job, working quietly and diligently, consulting us on patterns and grout colors, and cleaning up after himself each day. He demonstrated his skill and experience by making a smooth and seamless transition to an improperly installed threshold on an interior doorway, eliminating a potential safety hazard.  We couldn't be more pleased with the overall results.

With Step 2. of the process occurring on a Friday, the provider requested to come Saturday AM to complete the job. Unfortunately, we had a commitment that would not allow that, therefore, we made arrangements with the young man that works for her to come 1st thing Monday morning. I called Teri (the owner) on Sunday early afternoon to let her know we would not be home Monday and I would call her as soon as we returned to make alternate arrangements. I proceeded to explain to her that we were having to make an unexpected trip out of State due to a death in the family and were leaving to drive 600 miles, unsure at this time  when we would be back. Her response to me was "Did I leave the check for her?" No, I did not, the job was still not complete (FYI~we offered to pay half on Friday,  because the job was almost complete, we were told it was not necessary) She proceeded to SCREAM at me, and asked if I knew how I INCONVENIENCED her?? She also told me if she didn't have her money by the end of the week she was going to put a lien on our home!!!??? My response was that "I was sorry that this wasn't  on her schedule" and I ended the conversation in complete disbelief! While we were traveling I recevied a text message from her asking to see her side of it, she didn't have a deposit from us and basically had been taken advantage of before. Well, if she had asked for a deposit, we would have been more than happy to have given her one, but she did not and we also had offered her $150/300 on Friday and she declined. I find her response completely unprofessional and unacceptable and it negates the quality of the work that was done. I do, however, want  to be clear that the complete lack of professionalism and compassion was only the owner Teri herself and not anyone else that was in our home. She will not ever do any work for us or be recommended by us again.

They were very good. They kept everything clean. They showed up on a time and did a thorough job. They were also reliable.

My experience was great. She was so awesome.  She did a beautiful job on the project. Our house is on the market we get a lot of compliments on them.

Teri's was one of three estimates received and fell in the middle.  What sold us on hiring her for the job was her wonderful personality and professional certification.  She is a person of her word and has a very high quality standard as reflected in her professional certification.  It was a truly refreshing experience to have someone working in our home who we could both admire and respect.

TERI was responsive and very easy to work with. I would definitely use her services again!

We found Teri through a tile company which was on Angie's List.  We called her and she came right out to look at the job and gave us our options on the grouting.  We were very thankful that she told us about the epoxy grouting and we took her advice to use it and never have this problem again.  We called her later for a date since she had some other jobs but there was no problem arranging a date for her to do the floor.  She came on the date we set and brought along a guy who was helped her do the job so it could be done in one day.  The floor looks unbelievable and I would definitely use Teri again.  Her specialty is tiling and re-doing bathrooms, etc.  We were so thankful she took the job.  She is a great lady and did a wonderful job.

I contacted Terri through Angie’s List for an estimate.  Terri came out the next day.  She gave us great suggestions on various patterns, measured, suggested the quantity to order, and gave us an installation estimate.  She came back and did a great job installing the tile.  She was very flexible and made a few last minute changes in the design.   She took her time to make sure each piece was cut perfectly.  She did exactly what she promised and charged us exactly what we expected.

Everything went well. They did excellent work, and I will definitely use them again.

I actually found Teri on Angie's List. I had 2 other people in my home to give estimates and I did not feel comfortable with them at all. They could not go into specifics and that does not put you at ease. After I found Teri on here, I called her. Within 24 hours, she was at my house and I had a detailed price quote via email the next day. It is very obvious from the initial meeting that she knows exactly what she is doing. It took about a week to get everything done in my master bathroom. My husband and I picked out the tile and trim at a local store Teri recommended. I changed my mind halfway through the project regarding what I had picked out to put on the tub face. When this happened, I called Teri and she immediatley gave me a new quote as they had to remove the tile from the tub face and I also decided to replace the entire exisiting tile floor. The bathroom looks great now and we have received many compliments. Teri has one guy that helps her, Chris. I saw him most of the time and he is one of the most hard working individuals I have come across. He was on time every day, cleaned everything up before he left and answered any small question I might have. I left him alone in the house most of the time. Teri and Chris and 2 very trustworthy people. Teri was very helpful in recommending who to use regarding our replacement of shower doors, fixtures and the tile itself. I have 2 other bathroom projects in the future and Teri will be the first person I contact. I would recommend her to both family and friends without any hesitation.

Teri did a fantastic job and her ability to "shift on the fly" with our tile made it even better. She used the tile that we'd already purchased to create a dramatic effect in the shower for low $$. I'd recommend her to anyone.

See previous statement. Although there were some additional costs it was because I added some things after the estimate was put together. Also, they wanted to make sure everything behind the walls was up to or better than code.

The materials I used were heavy and she easily worked with the materials. The job was completed in 6 days. She arrived promptly at 8:30 am each morning and left when the job for that day was finished. She takes great pride in her work and was not happy until she got her desired results. She's been in the tiling business for approximately 20 years so she knows what she's doing! This job exceeded all expectations. I felt trusting and secure with her in the house. There is another gentleman that works with her and he has the same work ethic as Teri. As for clean up, they cleaned up after themselves. She cleaned up as women clean up. Having previously had a male crew in my house, they left a mess and went home. Price wise, judging from the work they did, I was extremely satisfied. The job was professional and far beyond my expectations. It was a very pleasant experience having her and Christopher, her helper do the job.
