Professional Tree Service

I contacted 11 tree removal companies in order to obtain estimates to remove a large multi-trunk hackberry tree with one fallen trunk and several that were dead and in danger of falling. Several of the companies did not even return calls but many of them did come and look at our situation and give an estimate. The Professional Tree Service was quick to respond to my call and come out and give an estimate. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive but they were the most professional in dress, conversation, and presented a reasonable solution to our tree problem. The tree was removed quickly with a crew of 5 guys and several trucks. Part of our tree was leaning toward the house and they were able to remove everything quickly without jeopardizing the structure. I asked for a small portion of the wood to be set aside for use as firewood and they took the time to reserve the amount I requested and cut it to firewood length. After the work was complete, the sidewalk and porch area were swept of sawdust and debris. This was an expensive removal but I would not hesitate to hire the Professional Tree Service again.

Couldn't ask for better!!!!!!! First, let me say that customer service is by far one of Mr. Moore's strongest attributes. How many times have you called a contractor and left a message to NEVER be called back, or called at their convenience (ie: when THEY needed work). Mr. Moore returned our first call the same afternoon, set up a consultation for two days later, and was up front and very honest that he was busy and it would be three weeks before the crew could get in to take out the quantity of trees we were looking to have removed.. We were good with that -- it was an honest reply (not to mention if he was that busy, he must be good... :) ). He called three weeks later, and showed up three minutes late from what he said the crew would be there. As for completing the service, it was a two VERY FULL day job, and they didn't / wouldn't leave until all was right. We told the crew to leave some of the "mess" - and by 'mess' I refer to a very few leftover branches that I could easily pick up myself - as they had done quite enough, but the crew wouldn't hear of it. Mr. Moore's response (yes, the owner was there the entire time with the crew, getting every bit as sweaty and dirty as he asked his men to) was that they always hope to leave a site in better condition than when they arrived. WELL DONE, GUYS, AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I selected Professional Tree Service from Angie's List because of the very positive reviews. I had a real problem with a very tall tree that was dead, was between the house and many large limbs over a boat shed and the home had just been listed for sale. I had a tree removal service that had trimmed our huge oak trees over several years and they did a very good job, but they don't use a cheery picker machine. I decided this tree was so dangerous a cherry picker was the only way. David came out and gave me an estimate which seemed reasonable. I was concerned about damage to the boat shed roof and the lawn being chewed up which would mar the yard's appearance for new buyers. David assured me they could remove the tree and keep any damage contained. They were booked for about 4 weeks, but would call if an opening came up in my area. A week later David called and said they could come in the afternoon. My spouse is a counselor with a home office and she had a 2 hour break from 2-4 PM. David said they could be there at 2PM and would be done by 3:30. We agreed and they came, cut the tree down with no damage to the boat shed room and since the boom was so long they able to remove the heavy pieces without dragging it on the lawn keeping it pristine. We were pleased. My spouse made a video and put it on Fa"K"EBook. Her comment was "Professional Tree Co. came to take out a dead tree in between house and boat house! It dropped it like a stalk of corn! Fun to watch strong, competent ,confident men whip around big equipment and chain saws like a knife through butter! good job!!! [*** Link removed ***]

Professional tree service arrived on time. They set to work and had the trees down within 1 hour. They were professional and experts at their job. All were polite and friendly. They assisted us by moving the trees out of the way until we could begin the clean up. Great service! Thanks so much!

We had a pine tree at least 100 ft tall that had been stuck by lightening and was listing toward our neighbor's house. It was located at the end of our downward slopping drive, on a lake by a stone bridge - not exactly an easy spot to take down a large pine. David and his crew arrived exactly on time with all the correct equipment to take down a tree of that size. The operation was very impressive and well orchestrated. The tree was down in 6 hours or less. They cleaned up to the point that you would not have known a tree was ever there - even fishing some errant small limbs out of the lake. Even my daffodils directly under the tree were left untouched - I had assumed they would be trampled with the work. We got several estimates, and David's price was the most competitive. It was pricey, but taking down a 100 ft pine in those conditions with that level of expertise and efficiency is not a cheap operation. We could not be more pleased with the work and have highly recommended him to our neighbors and friends. David and his crew were professional, prompt, and courteous.

High winds blew a large tree onto the house. Luckily it did no damage to the house but the way it was leaning, was in danger of doing damage to the house or my hvac unit, or hurting or killing someone if it fell further, so it had to be removed promptly. Based on the reviews on Angie's list I called this service. They responded promptly the next morning and gave me an estimate. If I had more time for this project, I probably would have gotten competitive estimates but we had a trip scheduled previously and were leaving soon, so we didn't have time for bidding this process. I authorized the work and it was done right then, quickly, safely and completely professionally in less than an hour, even knowing the price beforehand. These folks did great work, were friendly and cleaned up completely as they finished. My only complaint is that compared to work I had done in the past, the price seemed to be pretty high. But, as I said, they are probably the most professional service I have used. Maybe this is the going rate now, but it still seemed high.

David was very flexible on the schedule. He and his crew arrived on time and started working immediately. They cut and lowered every tree so that there was no uncontrolled dropping of branches or trunks. They broke down each tree as they removed them. The stumps were cut even with the ground surface. They cleaned up all areas and left the yard looking as if they were never there. The entire job was done in less than 3 hours. Very nice and professional team. Would recommend them highly. I thought the work was the best tree service I have ever hired and at a good price.

David arrived early and was finished in under an hour. It was the most efficient and professional operation I had ever seen and was very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Protree services to anyone needing tree work.

Impressed. Showed up a little early, went right to it, and finished in something like an hour and a half. Three guys. And these trees were in a place that they would have done considerable damage if they had fallen badly, too. It was clear to me that the men really knew what they were doing.

Arrived right on time, worked hard with minimal breaks, and accomplished all contracted work in excellent time. The entire group was friendly while still maintaining a professional mien. David Moore made adjustments to specific requests without excessive cost increases. The total experience was about as pleasant as could be when I was having to have so much work done.

Everything was done so professionally, from giving me the estimate to completing the job. He is very responsive and punctual. He even trimmed the top of the holly tree for free. I was really happy and I strongly recommend him!

We were very pleased with the work. Tree was removed safely, yard was cleaned up perfectly, the men were very professional in their work, and conducted themselves in a friendly and pleasant manner. We would certainly recommend them to others.

I cannot say enough good things about this provider. David Moore was very prompt in responding to my request for services. He showed up at my house when he said he would be there. After quoting me a fair price for the removal of a large dead pine tree in my yard, he truthfully stated it would be about three weeks before he could perform the removal because of previous work. I stated I would not have a problem with the delay, but I was very concerned about a portion of the pine tree which had fallen in my neighbors yard. He understood my dilemma and stated he had a worker in the area who could come by that afternoon and cut and remove the part of the tree in my neighbor's yard. His worker came by and very professionally and neatly removed part of the tree. After less than three weeks, David contacted me about removing the rest of the pine. He showed up when he said he would and completed the job of removing the dead tree. My wife decided she wanted a large bush removed from our front yard and asked David to quote us a price. This new price was reasonable as well and they were able to complete both jobs efficiently and neatly in approximately 45 minutes. I really appreciated David's willingness to remove the portion of the tree which was littering my neighbor's yard. His prices are fair and reasonable and his workmanship is outstanding. I would highly recommend this business to others if they need tree services.

David and his team did an outstanding job, cleaning up all debris (even raked the yard in the vicinity of where the trees dropped). They arrived on time, ready to get to work. They were efficient, completing the job in less than an hour. This was money well spent - and they do honor the Angie's List discount.

Very prompt and very professional. The had one tree nearly down before I knew they had arrived. Both trees were near houses and one was near a neighbor's fence. The cleaned everything up and were done in about an hour. I was completely satisfied. I purchased the $400 tree service for $200 from Angie's List. The balance was $400. Great job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

It must be emphasized that work was done on very large/tall trees that were either touching the second story of my house, or in that path to occur soon. The areas were also compact in terms of accessability, and of course the risk that always comes with working so close to my House. The clean up after tree/stump/root removal was phenominal. No tree debris, shavings, uneven yard where work was done. While I was not after speed, it blew me away at how fast this was all completed. I could not be at home for the work, but was away only a few hours.

On time for estimate and service. Very pleasant, very easy to talk to and very reasonably priced. Found out we were in a time crunch to get that tree down and was able to squeeze us in in a couple days and had that monster down in a few hours. Have several more trees to cut down and this is absolutely who I'm calling!

From the very beginning of getting an estimate to the final clean-up, the job was meticulously completed! I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by Professional Tree Service.

Work was done earlier than estimated! Trees removed without damage. No easy task considering how my enormous river birch was hanging over my fence and into the neighbor's yard. Yard was cleaned thoroughly! They delivered high quality service. Great job!

I was so impressed with David and Professional Tree Service. They provided an estimate free of charge. They were very responsive to our messages via Angie's List and via telephone. They were professional, timely, and very nice people. They had the massive pine tree down in under two and a half hours and cleaned up the after mess to perfection! They were very considerate to call a day in advance and make sure that we were able to have them come out the next day to do the work. They also gave us a time they would be here and they showed up on time! This is very important as we have a newborn baby and the tree was right above our bedroom where her crib is. We needed a little advanced notice to get the crib moved to another room so the noise wouldn't bother her. Wonderful quality work! Very knowledgeable! I would recommend them to anyone! We will be doing business again!

Contacted the company and left a message on Mon. Return call received on Tues. Estimate given on Fri. Work scheduled and completed the following Tues. I was lucky enough to be home while the work was completed to see the whole process. These guys did a phenomenal job during every step of the approx 6 hour job. I took many before/during/after pics and videos and have shared with many people already. For one tree drop, I actually left the back porch and went into the house to film out the window because I was sure it wasn't going to turn out well. I was wrong, they brought it down without damaging a single thing - the playset, the fence, the deck or the house. After it fell, I went out and told David "now THAT was amazing." His reply was, "like magic!" Everything was picked up, cleaned up (a LOT of clean up!) and put back together. They even flattened out the ground from the tire tracks as best as possible, but we plan to re-sod the backyard anyhow. I guess a lot of people come home and only see the final result of trees gone and don't see all of the work that goes into it. They are a very coordinated team and we couldn't have been more impressed, especially with the very limited space they had to work in.

David Moore owner of Professional Tree Service was a true professional. He went over and above my expectations and removed a River Birch tree in my front yard along with the surface roots. He and his crew were proficient and cleaned the area very well after the tree was removed. I will recommend Professional Tree Service to friends and will use them again when the time comes I need another tree taken down. Awesome job!

It was a great experience. I called on a Monday, had an appointment for estimating on Friday, and work was done in less than a week. David and his crew are a great team of perpetual motion with no one standing around. They were on time for the work and completed it within three hours. They cleaned up and hauled off all the debris so you would have never known they were there excepted for the professional work they did. I will use them in the future.
