Donald Roberson

I was given Mr. Roberson's name by word of mouth as someone who does A/C repair work on the side. We actually had him work on our A/C each of the two years prior to the listed service date. The first time he came out, he said our freon was low. The next year, we had the same problem. This time when I called him, I told him that I wanted him to wait for me to be there before he put freon in the system. The appointment was for 4 pm. I pulled up to my house, after leaving work, at 350 pm and he already had the freon hooked up, again telling us that the freon was low. The next year (2010) we had the same problem. This time he promised to call me back and never did. Then we called Berkeley Heating and Air and they came out and looked at our A/C. Interestingly, the freon was not low and there was no leak. As it turns out, the damper in our system (it is a split-level system) was stuck and simply needed a new part.
