Our AC went our only 4 hours after I had gotten my husband home from surgery (about 9pm). We waited until 7:30 the next morning (it was already 77 degrees in the house) for Waldrop to open to request a repair service. I used Angie's List to identify them, followed the website link, and was able to use a $40 coupon for first time customers. They called back around 8am to say a technician should be at our house within 45 minutes and he was here by 8:30. He wore slips over his shoes, was professional, showed us the burned up capacitor, and changed out the part quickly. He had to call to ensure we could use the coupon, which reduced our bill from $193 to $153. We had used a different provider years ago with our first house and Waldrop exceeded our expectations and I would certainly recommend them and use them again. I was tempted to give them a "B" on price because the technician had to call the office before he knew if he could accept the coupon but I believe their prices are in line with other service providers, so because of the the coupon I gave them an "A".

They provided an estimate of the unit needed, gave several options within our budget, and performed the work quickly and efficiently. They also beat a competitors price for the same unit by several hundred dollars and fixed the furnace already there for the same price. The competitor tried to sell me a new furnace and said it couldn't be repaired. It is still running without problems 8 months later.

They charge me on a yearly basis. They are very dependable and seem to be knowledgeable. They keep their appointments and they are very efficient. I think they are kind of expensive, but they are good. I might change because another heating and A/C company has made an offer to me for $100.00 for next year. So I will probably change to save $50.00. I have used them before and they are good.

We have an annual contract with Waldrop & they come every 6 months to make sure everything is working. We also get 10% off if anything goes wrong & we have to pay for it.
