D & D Top Notch Tree Services, LLC

Excellent work! They quoted the job fairly and beat out several other quotes that I had received. They were on time and ready to knock out this large job. They clearly explained everything that they were going to do during the job, and they took care to prevent as much damage as they could. They were very careful and precise with their work and did a great job cleaning up afterwards, including reinstalling a fence that they had to remove for access. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality, affordable work done right. I would use them again for any future work as well.

I hired D and D Top Notch to remove two trees and a stump grind. The company and their tree removal service are **top-notch** and I recommend that. However, I was stunned and disheartened at the damage the stump grinding machine did to my grass and driveway. The stump grinder D and D hired to do this portion of their service only owns a large machine, and it has tank treads. Expect the machine to tear up your grass and leave deep grooves. That machine dripped two types of fluid on my very clean driveway and left rubber tire tread marks. I was told that rain would get all of it off. I tried a hose and then a pressure washer, and those stains will not come out. Expect to have to pay for your driveway to be pressure washed. When the owner came over to check out the damage, he told me that it would take a while for the stains to disappear and that I would have to reseed my lawn in damaged areas. All I got was an apology because before they would remove my trees, I had to sign a waiver saying that they would not be held responsible for any damage caused by their company. I rated things with average scores because my experience with D and D and their grinding service was one step forward and two steps back. It will cost me more to repair the damage than it did to have my stumps removed.

Dan and his team are very professional. He priced my job and ended up doing even more work than originally agreed upon for the original price. I just recently hired them to do even more work because I was so pleased with the previous work he done.

This is the third time I have used this service, and if I have my way, will only use them in the future. Very professional and courteous. Called to let me know when they would arrive and showed up on time. Did all the work agreed upon and cleaned up after themselves. Definitely recommend.

These guys are professional. They have established processes and professional equipment. I had no concern over safety that I had with another service provider. I have all confidence in this company and find them to be very trustworthy and knowledgeable. They left my property as they found it. I appreciate not having to go behind them to clean after they left. I am extremely happy with this company.

They were prompt, completed the work ahead of time, at a very reasonable price, did a great job and cleaned up when they were done. We will use them again for our next project.

Good family business

D & D removed 1 tree, trimmed 1 tree back and 6 bushes. Five of the bushes were in a flowerbed. They were careful to not damage any other flowers in the flowerbed. As they were pulling the bushes up, they payed close attention to the roots to insure the roots were now pulling up any water pipes, wires or anything else buried in the ground. The water pipe and water discharge pipe were in the ground where the bushes were. They grinded all items (bushes, trees, limbs, roots, etc.) on the job. They have a tree grinder they brought with them. They did not drive the grinder on the grounds. They parked it on the curb and carried all items to the curb to grind there. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed.

These guys were GREAT! Great pricing, on time, cleaned up after trimming several trees, was careful not to run over any of my plants, was respectful to neighbors property, and most of all my yard looks great!! Family owned business which I really like and didn't gouge me on pricing. I definitely will use them again!!

Everyone was very knowledgeable and flexible. They were very willing to accommodate my requests and made suggestions I had not considered to improve my property. The arrived when they said they would. My neighbor and I hired them for additional work.

I had a big old oak tree that needed to be remove and the stump remove and these guys were knowledgeable and had the right equipment to do the job right, expert and hard working crew. I had no doubt are concern that these guys were trustworthy and the right people to do the job. Highly recommend them.

D&D Top Notch Tree Service is the best tree company I have dealt with. I received 4 quotes with a variety of prices and preaching, and this company is the real thing. Major equipment with multiple helpers making the removal quick. They cleaned up beautifully afterwards. A separate guy ground the tree stump the next day and got every root...of my river birch no less! I strongly recommend his company!

These folks are truly top notch! They were able to work us in ahead of their original estimate which we greatly appreciated. They marked our water sprinklers in the yard so they wouldn't run over them with their equipment, and they did everything they could to minimize damage to other plants and shrubbery. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up the area. Lastly, when I saw what kind of job they were doing, I asked them to take down some additional trees, which they did (at additional cost, but that was only reasonable). I will hire them again when needed.

From quoting thru removing our dead 90 ft oak tree, Dan & Ed Gordon (along with their team) demonstrated professionalism & exceptional customer service that my wife and I have not seen in other companies. Yes, D & D had the necessary heavy equipment (similar to few companies) for a job of this scale but not everyone has the process, attention to details & safety that their team exhibited from Day 1. This large white oak was only few feet from our house and next to our concrete driveway but Dan and his team were able to carefully remove each branch without any damage to property. They even used commercial rubber mats and plywood to shield the driveway and garage windows from any falling debris. As for final cleanup, D&D Top Notch was great! One final note - Dan also impressed my wife and I with the fact that they intended to repurpose 15 ft of the tree trunk and giveaway the remainder to homes in need of firewood. Having dealt with numerous tree service companies in the past, I don’t know of any company that would have given this much thought to our needs, service and sentiments. Dan, Ed, Dan, Mathew, Jeff and Blair - please accept our sincere appreciation for a job well done. Great to know all of you and stay safe!
