+ -1 moreNow I was stuck on a Friday evening with a tenant with no heat on a cold weekend. I found HVAC MD's here on Angie's list, and let me tell you, I am VERY happy with the entire process. Mickey took his time explaining to me the work that needed to be done. He told me that finding the parts I needed for a 26 year unit would be nearly impossible. After having the facts, the best option was to replace the heating unit. He was cheerful, honest, up front, professional and friendly. He called me back when he said he would, he gave me detailed quotes and the work was completed on time. I HIGHLY recommend him and will definitely use his services again. He's earned my trust.
Description of Work: I got a phone call late Thursday from my tenant that the gas heat furnace was not working. After calling a local HVAC company to look at it (I won’t name them), they told me they had to find an Air Handler and heat exchanger for my 26 year old Ruud unit but I never heard from them again. Guess they never found the part.

+ -1 moreExcellent work and we were most grateful for him coming out so late (after dinner) and making our home more comfortable (back to 77 again instead of 86) so that my husband and our two daughters could sleep better.
Description of Work: Mickey cleaned and thawe the condensing unit and the evaporator coil. He charged the unit with 4 pounds of R-22 fron at $19 (almost 1/2 what the bigger companies charge). He found service caps loose and tightened them.

+ -1 moreHe was the second person who gave us an estimate and stuck to his estimate, which was lower than the other. He and the other owner were courteous and friendly. When we had a minor problem on the outside fan on a very hot Saturday after the initial work, he came out the same day to repair it.
Description of Work: Replaced inside compressor of air conditioning unit and wire on outside fan.
