They did great work when they finally got here. I had a deadline to finish the project because I wanted to surprise my husband who was away. They came on Tuesday told me they could definitely get the project done this week! They gave me the run around afterwards and then the work was finished two and a half weeks later! Unacceptable

We just can t say enough about the excellent customer service, and then the huge shiplap installation, and door and window moldings. It was a huge job, Ed and the crew could Not have been better! They finished on time and did a great job!!! Nancy was wonderful to deal with on the phone to coordinate the job. Wanted a unique design for the dining room. The company was able to execute beautifully. Also, the crown molding and redesigning of the stairway was just what I wanted. They answered all my questions and were open to changes. Very pleased with the work.

I purchased a new townhome and contacted Trim The Carolinas to install crown molding and shiplap on the first floor and crown molding in the tray ceiling in the master bedroom. I worked initially with Nancy. She sent me pictures of other jobs so I could visualize their work. I decided on picture boxes in the family and dining room. I also wanted shiplap above my fireplace. After reviewing my project internally she told me the owner had suggested also putting shiplap on my kitchen island which was diagonally across from the fireplace. I thought that sounded good and asked for an estimate. Nancy was always available to answer my questions and get me answers. I felt the price of the estimate was fair and we scheduled an installation date. On the day of installation Joe met me at the townhouse and reviewed the project with me. He suggested aligning the shiplap with the fireplace mantle to accentuate the effect. I took his suggestion. Then I asked about how the picture boxes would transition at the bottom of the windows and at the end of the kitchen counter. After some discussion and some demonstration we hap a plan. During the installation Joe called me to suggest he had enough shiplap to actually frame the two windows and door leading to the backyard. He suggested it would give the whole room an integrated look. Again, I gave my approval. When I arrived home at the end of the day we reviewed all the work. The initial suggestion to use shiplap on the kitchen island was outstanding! It really looks fantastic! Joe's idea to trim the window and door also looks fantastic. I was so grateful he made the suggestion. We went over the different colors I was painting the walls, trim and shiplap and he helped me come to final decisions on what would look the best. He also explained how to best make the crown molding pop in the master bedroom tray. I was really impressed with the whole process working with Trim The Carolinas. The suggestions they made really improved my overall plan and resulted in me being absolutely thrilled with the outcome! I felt like they were a partner in the whole process and I really appreciate that. I am sure you will be happy with the work they do and I would not hesitate to use them again! They were really great to work with and I am a happy customer.

Amazing service Quality work

We had them install a coffered ceiling in our family room that has an 18' high ceiling. Required the use of scaffolding and working around a large ceiling fan. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Nancy did the original scope and estimate asking the right questions and answering several that I had. The price and time allowed for the job were right in line with our expectations. They scheduled the job according to our needs and she kept us posted in terms of deliveries, work crew arrival time etc. Ed was the on-site supervisor and he was easy to work with and very accommodating. The crew was superb. Took the time to make sure our floors were protected before starting to work. Always removed their shoes when entering the house. They were hard working and paid attention to the details. Ed and the crew did a lot of analysis and calculating to make sure the spacing of the coffer pieces would look good in the end, which was not easy due to the fan and placement of exterior windows. Finished the job ahead of time and cleaned up nicely. We are delighted with the end result and will definitely use Trim the Carolinas again in the future. I spent many years in the insurance industry and worked with numerous contractors who did everything from minor repairs to complete home reconstruction. TTC is as good as any contractor I have worked with and that is why I gave them a 5 star rating.
