He was prompt, straight-forward, and professional. It turned out to be a minor job that I could get done in conjunction with the remodel I was planning, so I didn't end up hiring Mount Valley for the work. However, I appreciated the honesty and prompt estimate for service. I would definitely use them in the future if I needed their services.

They arrived on the day we scheduled, started to work immediately. They finished early afternoon and left. You could hardly tell they had been there. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

They came out and did the specified work to an excellent standard as proposed by the representative. The workmen were courteous and came back to clean up some items I requested to be done at no cost. The lifetime transferable warranty was of great benefit as we sold our house six mothers later.

They did a great job.  The job took less time than I thought it would.  The floor is no longer sagging in those areas. 

They do a good work. They were more at there product and we didn't have any issues since they did the work. Their price was competitive more than anyone else.

Jon and his crew (Abraham, Josh & Hunter) arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time on a cold morning.... 16 degrees! They quickly and professionally went about their business and completed the work in about 5 hours. They cleaned up the areas where work was performed so well that you could hardly tell anyone had been on site. No cracks in mortar are visible and the foundation is stabilized. Great job!

My husband and I went to the Home Expo in Columbia a few weeks ago and met Jim from Mountain Valley Foundation Services. We gave them our number so that someone from the office could contact us to schedule an appointment which they did the following week. We booked an appointment for 2 weeks out so that we could get their first appointment of the day which is 8am in order to minimize the amount of work missed.

A few days prior to our appointment we received a reminder in the mail but then the day of our appointment it was 8:15am and Jim was not at the house nor had we heard from him. I called the office to find out where he was, the woman put me on hold briefly while she called him only to find out he was still at least 20 mins away. I told her we were unable to wait that long (would have been almost an hour past our scheduled time) and that if was able to come the following Saturday we would be willing to reschedule otherwiise we would have to go with another company. She was apologetic and told me she did not know why he was late because it was on his schedule and that he could be there for 9am on Saturday. So, Satuday (today) gets here and not only does he not show up we do not even get a phone call.
The lack of professionalism and reliability shown is completely unacceptable and I although I will be calling the office on Monday (there was no answer today when I called) there is no way we would ever do business with this company. If their staff are not reliable enough to even make appointments how could I possibly trust them with my home's foundation??

Dan arrived early to our home and completed the exterior inspection prior to me getting there. Upon my arrival, he inspected our interior cracks and proceeded to tell me what we needed to have done. He did not draw out our plan, nor take any depth measurements to determine how our home was settling. In our 45 minute meeting, the majority was spent comparing what he could do better than the competitor, trying to point out faults in the competitor rather than highlight his team's successes - RED FLAG. He recommended 8 driven piles to fix our foundation. When he gave me the price, I asked if there was any way to discount it. He said he could remove one pile - RED FLAG. Why did he recommend 8 piles, then when I asked for a discount, remove 1 pile?
We decided to go with a competitor, who's prices were higher, but they agreed to match the prices that Mount Valley gave us. They didn't change the scope of their plan, they just gave us a discount. 
We felt that Dan's plan was given in a rushed manner with no consideration. There were too many red flags in our meeting to do business with them.

Came out to give us an estimate on our recently purchased home. Once they got here, they determined that the lifting we needed to have done (along with sistering joists and installing a pier) was not something that their company does. BUT they referred me to the best company in the area to fix our moisture problems, and I am very appreciate of that. They also showed us a few things to watch (cracks in the brick). If I ever needed anything done related to a foundation, I would definitely call them again. They were punctual and very helpful.

It went very well. They showed up when they said they would, the price was as they quoted, and they also came back to make adjustments afterwards.
