My floor was sinking.  They put jack under the floor to raise the floor up.

The crew was very friendly, and explained the entire procedure before they started, as well as walking me through what they did when they were finished. 3 steel piers were installed.

There was a a big communication problem between the sales representative, the contractor I had working on my house, my roommate and myself. Too many people making decisions and trying to be the boss of the job. I the owner and person paying for everything did not get honest facts from the contractor and my roommate. When I complained Mount Valley had no knowledge of any of the calls or requests, came to my house during the holiday break to inspect the job and assure me it was complete.

They came to the house in pouring down rain and installed 2 beams under the house. They lifted it tighter than needed and said they had to come back in 2 weeks to adjust the beam. That was December 22nd 2015. The sales representative came back and we said we could not get another beam, he said okay and scheduled the crew to come by and adjust the lift on the house. They never came back even when I called again twice and said the ceiling was cracking and the floor was separating. We called 6 times, none has come back to make the adjustment ever!

Mount Valley did a great job; they moved plants from the disturbed area, installed four piers, closed the separation between the bricks and foundation and cleaned up the area. Their technicians were professional, courteous, informative and hard workers. We are extremely satisfied.

We ended up coming up with a different solution which did not involve foundation piers but MV had the best prices over several other contractors. I liked them a lot too.

Oh yeah I am so hack with right now I still don't know what to do. Well he did't fix anything and all of their fines  you know that in a contract that I am responsible for anything else  shouldn't have guaranteed it but and now that I have hard wood floors glued down and they want to come and hack that back up just to fix what they didn't fix in the beginning and all that repair would be on me, so I would never ever use them again for two thousand pound I go like jack broke and slam into our counter tops which then broke those, we when round and round on how much they would cost so I finally took what little that they offer us and put in better stuff. their fine print they don't tell you that they only go down three feet with their pairs and then after that it's so many dollars per foot after that now it's in there but it's not explain very well. well they could have done a better job of prepping us the original cost suppose to be six thousand and that's when they put in the thirty foot pairs well all they had to go seventy feet so it almost doubled they price.

I couldn't be happier with the way it went!  Roger was very polite, professional, and patient.  He did a thorough inspection of our home to make sure that there was no foundation problems.  After ruling out foundation problems, he focused on the problem at hand and the best way to fix the problem.  He then explained the type of steel beams used by Mount Valley Foundation Services, Inc., and the warranty that covers said beams.  After taking the time to explain everything to me, he patiently waited for me to get my husband on the phone to explain everything to him.  After speaking to my husband, Roger then went under the house to make sure nothing would have to be moved out of the way before the crew could install the beams.  He did this even though it was pouring rain outside at the time.  I was truly shocked when he told me the price!  I thought that the cost would be much higher!
We are in the process of scheduling a date to have the work done.  We would have scheduled it sooner, but had to put it off due to doctor appointments and medical treatments.  I highly recommend this company.  Roger did not try to push anything that we did not need done to our home, like some companies do.  We had another company that gave us an estimate of $9,000 to fix three places in our foundation of our house that don't even need fixing, and would not even effect the slop in the kitchen floor.  However, the person from that company did admit that fixing these three places in the foundation was not necessary, it would just raise the foundation from normal settling from over the years.  However, Roger's fix, at $3,500 will fix the slop in the kitchen floor.  No brainer on that one!

Todd called to confirm about half an hour before the appointment and showed up right on time. He was polite and straightforward. Did some visual inspection of the crack on the brick wall and offered reasonable and professional advice/recommendation. Overall a very pleasant experience with Todd.
