Marty White Design Group
About us
Marty White Design Group (MWDG) is a house plan design company that specializes in providing affordable 100% custom house plans. Build It Yourself! Home Building is a licensed home building company that specializes in helping customers be their own builder, allowing them to save money and make their dollar go further. The mission of MWDG is to produce plans for affordable homes that can be realized within our customers' budgets, by providing designs that not only look good on the exterior, but look fantastic inside. We do this by steering our customers in a direction that is very closely consistent with their parameters, paying close attention to cost, budget, expectations as to design, and "realistic" goals that will allow our clients to actually afford their new home. Build It Yourself! Home Building. Brothers Guy White and Marty White bring a combined 30 plus years of home building and contracting to the table, offering turn-key homebuilding services, and owner/builder home building. By following our platform, owner/builder customers work with us in an advisory capacity while building their homes. This is very useful to the customer who knows enough, but is not comfortable with going it alone in building without someone there to guide them. Also a great program for the customer who has a low budget, one that most custom builders will not get involved with, and one the production builder will not work with unless the customer chooses one of their plans. The program helps one be able to build the home wanted, without having to make undeserved compromises.
