Hartvigsen Family Medicine

Dr. Hartvigsen is an excellent physician. He is a gifted listener and diagnostician, He never hesitates to refer me to a specialist if necessary, but usually handles my needs quite well. The wait is sometimes long, but he is never rushed when he sees me. His clinical staff seem to have a bit of turnover, but his administrative staff have been with him for many years and are super! I would recommend him to anyone needing a family physician. His nurse practitioner is always available if he is not, but she consults with him as needed.

He takes his time and answers my questions. He gives alternative choices for treatment. He is very knowledgeable.

He is a family doctor. I like that he takes time with you to make you feel comfortable. He has a great personality, and is very knowledgeable in his field.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Eric Hartvigsen of Hartvigsen Family Medicine for intent. We have been going to him for about a year since we moved here so 7-8 months and the your appointment could be for 9am but you don't see him until 10.30, so the wait is very long. He is a great doctor but his nurses are terrible and his nurse practitioner is usually okay but she prescribed my wife some medication that is not safe for breast feeding so I don't recommend him for anyone with young children. I don't recommend his office for pediatrics at all. Once the child is about 7-8 is when you can take them there, he is trying to get more young children and infants and he never has the vaccinations so you always have to go back. He is just a family doctor and he is not working towards being a pediatrician.It took them 2 and a half weeks for them to get vaccinations for my infant son and it is not like I hadn't set the appointment a few weeks in advance but they just forgot. We have given them ample opportunities to change but they haven't so we have decided to change. Everyone else in the office is terrible except for the doctor and the ladies behind the counter. You can always get in to see the nurse practitioner.

Dr. Hartvigsen is my family physician and he takes care of my whole family. He listens very well and never seems rushed. Sometimes, that means I have to wait longer, but i don't mind--my turn is coming. He manages a very broad range of medical concerns, but is not hesitant to refer ro specialists if he isn't comfortable treating a problem. He is truely concerned about me as a person, not just an illness. His staff are very professional and caring. I would and have recommended him to many friends. He and his practice are outstanding!

Dr. Hartvigsen is excellent. I have been going to him for 7 years now. He will listen to you and he will completely check you out. If you need some answers about certain things, then he will start from the beginning and try to see what’s going on with you. He has been wonderful. He was the one I went to when my problem started. He really cares about his patients. He doesn’t rush through and he helps to get you in. He is great and his whole staff is great. I used to work in a hospital when he was a resident. I like him since he is very nice. He stays on top of things. If he thinks you need a specialist, then he will send you to one and he won’t try to do it himself. He is really good. I made my brother see him too. I haven’t had any problems with his availability. You need to schedule you next appointment when you are leaving the office. They also make appointments if you need to see a specialist. The office environment is nice. His punctuality is great. He is not going to walk-out while he is with you and you are having a discussion with someone else. His punctuality has never been an issue. If he is talking to one patient and gets late, then he will do the same for you. I get in when I am supposed to. The staff member takes care of my blood work and other stuff. The staff is wonderful and nice. The doctor’s bedside manner is wonderful. His communication and effectiveness of treatment are both great. I pay my copay right there and so I haven’t had any issue with the billing. They bill my insurance company without any problems and I then get a statement with my balance. I would definitely use his services in the future too.
