ZALES THE DIAMOND STORE

My wife had expressed intrest in an Eternity band, so I decided to take her to Zales to buy one. My wife picked the one she liked, and I told the sales associate we would like to buy it. They didn't have my wifes ring size at the store so we were told it would take two weeks for it to be made and shipped to the store. I thought no problem since our anniversary was three weeks away,the sales associate rung us up and I paid in full. As we were leaving thst sales associate stated Zales would not call us, because they have had issues with ruining suprises in the past. Two weeks went by and my wife went to pick up her new ring, but it had not arrived. After another week I called and asked where the ring was, and was told it was still being made and that it would take two more weeks. I asked why I wasn't told this when I purchased the ring, and the answer was thay had never done this process before. To which I replied, how come the sales person told me two weeks? It has now been over a month and the ring is still not here, and Zales made no effort to right the matter with me (the customer) other than appologize over the phone. The whole experience has been discouraging to say the least. I can honostly say I will never purchase from Zales again, and will pass that word to as many people as possible. I also called Zales corporate office and received no help in resolving the issue.
