It was extremely cheap, it was very cost effective. It wasn't even $100, it was phenomenal. I continue to go there. For punctuality, you can't make appointments, you just have to walk in there and sign our name on the list and then wait. I still grade them a for punctuality because, overall they are still good. They are very friendly and they do a very good job. You can walk in any day and pick up heart worm medicine or flea medicine. Their prices are cheaper than the internet.

This is a unique clinic that takes some adjustment to get used to. That is, 1) it's first come, first serve and 2) you never meet the veterinarian - but her very professional staff who will walk your pet back to see her. Similar but dissimilar to meeting "the Great Oz" and your pet magically comes back happier and healthier! But seriously, the prices are amazing and I have taken three of my dogs here (ages 18yr, 11yr and 1yr). On average I save over 50-75% compared to traditional vet offices. Worth the 1-2hr wait.

This is a low-cost clinic with limited care hours, where most of the services are performed by the staff. It's not very professional, and I had to physically push a dog away from my cat carrier because the staff member holding his leash was not paying much attention or keeping firm control on the dog like the owner had. Have used them in the past due to cost, and usually they take the animals into the back for their shots, but don't even take my cats out of their carrier unless they have to do some sort of exam. This time the girl actually came into the waiting room and did everything right there sitting on the floor.
If you are trying to get routine care as affordably as possible, this is not a bad choice. It's strictly first-come, first-served for routine care, so you will have to wait in a usually crowded space with wandering dogs, and an hour is a pretty standard wait from what I've seen. If you want professional, go somewhere else (and pay for it), but if you just want to be a responsible pet owner on a tight budget, it's worth trying.

The spay went well, however my dog smelled horrible when she was returned. The neuter had some issues, but they called prior to proceeding with the procedure, and he healed just fine. The front office girl sat on a stool with her legs all crossed under her, playing on her phone, and was the picture of unprofessional. A friend took a dog there, and they let her sit in the lobby while they served 3 people who came in behind him. The prices are good, but the vet - I never saw. The dogs came out fine, so no complaints there. They need to clean up their presentation.

I chose this clinic mainly because they are a low cost clinic, however, I was very happy to see that I did not have to give up quality due to this factor. Most of the staff were women and they treated each and every animal with kindness and tender care. You could tell that they truly love working with animals and this was not just a job to them. Shots are only given on certain set days, during certain times. I had to wait about an hour since there are not any appointments for vaccinations. I didn't mind though because I saved so much money. I had called another clinic and they quoted me twice what I paid with Low Country Clinic.
