Coastal Scapes

Aaron Stace of Coastal Scapes did an absolutely outstanding job. He made excellent suggestions regarding layout of the driveway and garden areas. He was very easy to work with, open to suggestions and flexible when it was evident changes were needed. The work done was top quality and completed on a timely basis. Aaron also has an excellent sense of what will look best and applies good judgment and common sense in executing the job. We were not present for the majority of the work but everything was done to the best of our satisfaction.

Aaron was very punctual when we first met for an estimate.  The overall experience was very professional and handled well. The patio came out very well. My yard was thick clay and the rain didn't help matters, but Aaron did a great job of keeping me informed of what was going on.  The process was more or less painless, despite being my third attempt to have the same work done -- a key point here. Aaron did what he said and followed up, followed through. When I had a question about the layout he was prompt and helped clarify. Technology friendly, Aaron was able to work with photos and email as well as phone calls.

Quick response with an estimate. Arrived on the date promised. Work crew was professional and worked very efficiently. Removed old crushed concrete. Brick masons were professional. Fixed brick border damaged by concrete truck. Replaced one panel after the fact because of different color between two batches of concrete. Very satisfied with results. Great improvement.

We used Coastal Scapes on a bi-weekly schedule to do regular landscaping at our property. The team showed up every time, and completed all work in a timely manner. We will use Coastal Scapes again in the future.

They come out on a monthly basis. He makes sure all leaves are removed even on my porch or deck. I have been using him for almost a year. I don't have any plans to change providers. He does an excellent job.

The original estimate was submitted in October but the permitting process with the City Of Charleston meant that we did not get started until December. That process is important to understand in detail since it requires approval for encroachment in the easement next to the road and it was why there was additional concrete expense beyond the estimated cost. From the beginning, Coastal Scapes' Aaron Stace was all about customer service. His small company worked closely with us at every step, providing their expertise in the areas they knew well and always accepting customer input graciously. Aaron was involved and on-site in all aspects from permitting and layout to concrete pouring and final sod installation. He was able to use my marked up survey map to provide a clear, fairly detailed and easy to understand estimate so we could compare different options and compare to other quotes. The crew was always easy to work with and the pace was such that we did not get overwhelmed with too many people working too many things at once.

They were good overall. They were easy to work with as far as taking changes to the initial estimates.

Coastal showed up Monday morning to clear the broken sections of the driveway. Tuesday they began pouring the new concrete. They were gone by Thursday. The pavement was cured for use by the following Monday.

I found Coastal to be prompt, informative, thorough and the finished job looks fantastic. I am very pleased.

Very prompt with response for estimate (within 2 days) and very prompt initiating and completing service. Once decision made to use this contractor, they were here within 5 days and completed work the same day. It was especially nice to see that they thoroughly cleaned the work area during and after work completed.

We found them on Angie's List and they were well reviewed. They also had a coupon. They were reasonably priced and got the job done quickly and professionally.

Excellent. While certain aspects of project took longer than expected (due to unanticipated cooler weather and subsequent longer drying times for mortar), the contractor was 110% accommodating and maintained a high level of customer service throughout, taking the time to do it right the first time, at no extra cost or inconvenience to me. I wish I could rate this contractor higher!

Prompt initial visit to determine what was needed. Plans drawn up, which i had to present to neighborhood association. After this, the job was started. Work was carried out in a professional manner. Area was tidied up each night before workers left. Concrete was poured in a timely manner and walls were built on time and to specification. Shrubs and trees were delivered and installed. Overall my experience was good and my inconvenience kept to a minimum. I am now enjoying my new outdoor space. Aaron was readily available during the whole process and the cost was exactly as agreed on before work started. I would certainly recommend this company.
