Chris, Dr. Enlund

Because my discomfort (pain) is chronic, Dr. Enlund treats me regularly on a maintenance level. If there is specific severe pain, he treats that area as well as giving just a normal acupunture treatment.. This consists of inserting needles in the area of pain, using a heat lamp to heat the needles and muscles in the area he's treating, and leaving the needles in for a short time for them to take effect. At the end of the treatment he removes the needles and gives a short massage to the area he has treated.
Tolerance of pain is relative to the reaction of the person being treated.The needles he uses on a regular basis are painless, in my perception, and probably would be to any person he was treating. On one occasion, my neck was drawn to one side, and was giving unrelenting pain. I showed hem exactly where the pain was; he inserted a needle in the exact spot, and there was a nanosecond of extreme pain. The pain disappeared immediately, and, when I left that treatment, I did not have any neck pain for two and a half months after that time. Because an orthopedic surgeon has told me that my neck is so badly alligned that he would not attempt surgery, I consider this alternative (acupuncture) a Godsend.
There is so much more to acupuncture than I can convey--or even understand. These things I know from experience: It works.
Dr. Enlund is highly and well trained, and he has successfully alleviated my back pain so that I can lead a more normally active life.

I never have to wait when I arrive for my appointments. The procedure is occasionally a bit uncomfortable, but never painful. The relief it provides is lasting and well worth any momentary discomfort. Chris is very personable and takes his time during the initial interview to pinpoint the most therapeutic approach.

Dr. Enlund (Chris) has treated me now for over a year with excellent results. He did an evaluation when I first saw him and continues to evaluate at each treatment. He has excellent skills and has been able to help alleviate pain so that I have much better overall mobility. He is very professional, well-trained, has a good "bedside" manner, keeps a clean office environment, is considerate, attentive, and seems to do this work because he really wants to help people. I would not hesitate to recommend him to a family member, a friend, or anyone who needed help with pain.

He really helped me with my back pain. He is very flexible with his hours. He took a look at my schedule and worked around it to get me, in so I would not miss any work.
