Outstanding! The painters were always on time - early even. Very professional and courteous. When we decided we didn't like the color that we chose, they took it in stride, despite having spent hours applying the paint. They insisted that we should be happy with the outcome and managed to switch the color with minimal added expense, and no delay in the completion of the project. Especially impressive was how the four painters worked as a team, were supportive of each other, and were genuinely interested in the development of one of the "new guys". Very professioanl and a pleasure ot have around. this is my third time with DMP, and I will go back again.

Estimate was clear and concise. Gentleman showed up promptly. I believe 'it's all in the prep' and they certainly lived up to that motto. They take great pains to be neat, organized and were courteous to my family. The paint job met my high expectations (i like to paint myself but 'we can't do everyhthing, I've learned!) I would recommend this awesome company to my friends and family, no holes barred.

I loved working with this company.  They scheduled and arrived on time to estimate the work and to fulfill the service.  After finishing the quote I was emailed exactly what was discussed during the visit.  Once the work was scheduled, they were there when they said  they were going to be. 
The foreman Chris was excellent.  He came a day early to make sure that he understood what was going to be done and to make sure that we had the same expectations.  He also made sure that everything was ready to be able to  start working the next day.  There were some screws that I left in the wall by mistake and needed to remove them, even though they had finished that area, they made sure that I as happy and filled in and repainted the area. 
On the third day, Chris and the other painter needed to be a little late, instead of just showing up an hour late, they left me a note the night before letting me know that because of a conflict that they would be a little later that day.  They were awesome.  One of the painters had a dog like mine and thought that she would like a bone like his gog used, so he brought her one, it was very thoughtful.
After everything was done, a few days after the work, DMP followed up to make sure that I was completely satisfied. 
The paint work they did was perfect, the price was right and the thing that I like the best about this company was the way that they communicated and how professional they were.  I would suggest this company to anyone and know that they would be well taken care of by Dennis Moffit Painting

Amazing - the painters said they would be here at 7AM and each day they were on the button. Mike Moffitt responded to my first call for an estimate.  We set a date to begin the job and it was the best decision we made.  Chris and Steve were efficient and rganized - no mess..and they went the extra mile to create a new room for us.  Working with a local company is very beneficial and we would most certainly recommend them.

The crew arrived on time each morning, worked throughout the day, cleaned up each afternoon and brought in more people to finish on time. We were very pleased with the quality of their work.

The house was overdue for repainting and required a lot of preparation work before painting. The owner, Mike Moffit, did the onsite inspection himself. He spent a good bit of time talking with me about the requirements of the project, the process he proposed, and the rationale for that approach. We hired DMP over 4 other companies on Angie's List that we had bid on the job, based on professionalism, reasonable cost, good references and strong recommendations. DMP assigned a very competent and professional crew leader (Jaime Dominguez) to the project, and the owner and the operations manager both conducted progress inspections. DMP performed all phases of the work at a high level of quality, and delivered an outstanding result. The weather didn't always cooperate, and when that was the case, the onsite crew got busy with other tasks, going the "extra mile". We could not be any happier with the work they did - the exterior is in very good condition now and looks just great. We recommended them to neighbors across the street from us, who also hired DMP. Their house is looking good, too.

Very well.  The house looks terrific!  Workers were very polite, prompt, neat.  Did a good job keeping me updated as to schedules and progress.  I had a few questions during the project, and got thorough answers to them.  Very little intrusion on our activities.  A few shrubs near the house were battered, but only in the line of duty!  (I know they will be fine.)

Owners and staff are very professional and friendly, in addition to being quite skilled at their jobs. We have used DMP for a number of painting jobs over the years and have been very pleased with the work that they have done.

Very professional, I felt comfortable staying in my home while the crew was completing the interior painting.  They do great work, and clean up after themselves.

DMP is a first class painting contracting company. The foremen are exceptional with many years of service and the workers are very neat and friendly. The painting job came out perfect.

They started more or less on time (there were weather issues), and proceeded with the work until it was done.  They checked with us along the way for our input.  We decided to have an additional washing of the stain with special chemical to get to a more uniform color.  They were very attentive to details, painting our cellar bulkhead and front door as well as trellises.

Arrived on time, worked professionally, polite and attentive to requests.  Challenging job with high peaks on buildings and difficult terrain to place their ladders.

Went very well.  They did everything they said they would.  The quality of work was outstanding

and complied with all my requests.  Got several quotes for less money,
but decided to go with quality over price.  Not disappointed.

He came out, we talked about doing a different color on the deck and he said we would have to do a heavy stain, a gray stain and they were right.  It's got a grayish color on it and it looks beautiful. There are two doors that open out to the deck and my wife fell on it, when we first moved there I fell on it, it's a level deck, they suggested we put an off color like a yellow on the edged where you step off from one level to the other.  And I thought it was a nice touch, it looks great.  They were very helpful.  They suggested the color and it looks perfect and they put like a, you can step walking out there you get near the edge and one or two steps down.  They were just really great people.  We went over and talked to them about everything, they were real friendly, real helpful, kept us posted what was happening.

exceeded our expectations.  we own two houses on jamestown and have had one painted by an independent contractor in the past.  our own home i painted myself(use to paint houses with my dad), but am currently at the age that i no longer wanted to do it.
i saw a few signs on the island for dmp and contacted them for info and a price.  met with mike, he made a good impression and quoted a reasonable price.
moffit painting has since completed both houses and we are very pleased with the outcome.  they did a better job than i would have done myself and were better than the last company used on our other house.
their head person running our job was jamie and he was excellent.  all the people on the job worked hard and were all professionals.
the company provides a job satisfaction survery along with a question if you want them to contact you in five years.  
we will certainly used them for any future painting needs.

Mike went over the job with his painters who showed up ready to work. After the job was complete, we went over a couple trouble spots and he sent a couple guys back to address my concerns. We were under some construction at the time, so a second trip to finish up was to be expected. The cost of the job was the same as the quote which is always a good thing. I have had many compliments on the finished paint job since it was done.

it went well, this is not the first time i used them and i have to say they are very professional. Our home is very well kept and i have high standards about the quality of work and professionalism i expect and Dennis Moffit Painting exceed my expectations once again.  The worked with me on colors and test sample areas to make sure we would be satisfied

DMP did a fantastic job with the exterior of our house. They color-matched our new dormers with the existing first floor stain so the entire house would be one cohesive color.
With the interior they were perfectionists in painting the rooms. They did an excellent job with the prep filling in some large existing holes (after they were painted you could never tell that they were there). There was no dust left from the sanding. The walls came out clean and smooth with no drips or spills. The owner, Mike, was nice enough to pick up a bathroom vanity and bring it to their shop to be painted and delivered it right back in time for installation. We had a wood paneled ceiling that needed to be stained. They explained the difference between using an oil or water-based stain and on their recommendation I picked the oil-based that has darkened to a wonderful patina. 
They were professional, kept the multiple colors straight, finished in a timely manner, and did a great job. I think the biggest recommendation I can give is that they really worked with us on the scheduling. Our construction ran well over the time we expected and we kept on calling to postpone. They completely understood and reworked their schedule so we when the time came to do the work they were right there to do it.

The crew showed up at 7:30am on the first day, right on schedule.  During this 3 day job, they showed the utmost respect while on my property, always maintaining a cleanly job site and professional manner.  I can't say enough about Emilio and his crew.  Their attention to detail and thoughtful work exceeded our expectations. Choosing Dennis Moffit Painting was clearly the perfect choice.  They came in and evaluated the project and promptly provided a written contract with a firm price.  Painting began on schedule and proceeded with a high degree of organization and the utmost professionalism.  There was a supervisor on the job who worked perfectly with us and the contractor.  Every change we requested was documented on a numbered change order with a firm price.  Professional invoices were sent on time with complete documentation.
The quality of their work matched the quality of their business management.  Every square inch of the house was painted to perfection. This is a rare company in the painting trade and one that we wholeheartedly endorse.  We would not hesitate to use them again or refer them.

I met with Mike prior to our vacation to review the scope of the work and select colors.  The project was a surprise present for my wife near our anniversery:  we left on a week's vacation, DMP came in to paint the rooms and we returned from vacation to newly painted rooms.  Everything went according to plan.  They did a phenomonal job, especially cutting in the walls around the trim - one of my pet peeves.  Their stain match was spot on - they even put a lacquer clear coat over the stain that we hadn't even discussed - nice touch.  They left it cleaner than when we left in our scramble to catch a flight across the country.  My wife was very surprised and loved it!  I've hired lots of painters over the years, but now none of them will get near the house except DMP.
