Eco-Friendly Roof Cleaning

I was provided an estimate by the owner the same day I called and the work was scheduled promptly. The owner himself did all the work on the roof, along with a younger worker who stayed on the ground and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The results are fantastic and there was absolutely no damage to the roof or the landscaping. These were very pleasant folks to do business with.

An excellent experience all around.  The estimator showed up on time, gave us a prompt and courteous estimate and date of service.  Mr. Hareld (the owner) showed up promptly and did an excellent job.  He took special care with the surrounding property and his fee was reasonable.  As a bonus, Mr. Hareld cleaned the gutters and left the property clean and damage free. We plan to partake of his maintenance service

It was a pleasure to do business with Mr. Hareld who personally cleaned the roofs.  He worked very hard for over 5 hours to complete the work. It went very well and we were very happy with the results.  I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him.  He is a hard worker who took pride the job that he was hired to do.

Very professional job by Charles and assistant. All traces of growth (algae, mold etc) was removed at appointed time.
The roof looks great. A two year guarantee is included with a 15% fee for re-treatment.

The cleaning was just about as good as we could have expected.! Our roof was completely covered with "stuff" - during our initial home inspection, the inspector thought it was so bad that we probably needed a new roof. After the cleaning the roof looks almost brand new and revealed the surface underneath to show that it is still in good condition with many years left in it's lifetime. I wish I had before and after pictures - the transformation is really remarkable - there must have been a solid inch of buildup on top of the roof. This cleaning saved us from spending $10k+ on a new roof! The quote from Eco Friendly was a little higher than other providers we contacted, but Eco Friendly offers a 2-year guarantee and also a service program for subsequent cleanings/treatments at a discounted price which we felt added incredible value to their service so we decided to hire them. Charles and an assistant arrived promptly and worked incredibly hard for a full day up on our roof. We were very pleased with the job and would definitely recommend them to anyone else who is looking for a roof cleaning.

Charles did a very good job. The roof looks like it did years ago without the eye sore that was the organic build up. It's a large roof so not necessarily surprised about cost. His work was worth it especially since it is guaranteed for 2 years hope that it lasts until next treatment and will help with snow, etc. not to mention it looks great!

Charles and an assistant washed the gambrel style roof on our house and a shed roof.  The roof is about 12 years old and the house faces north.  Black algae had started rapidly growing over the last couple of years and was unsightly.  I washed the shed roof during the summer using a roof cleaner from Lowes.  Although a lot of lichen and moss washed off there was still some left.  After Charles cleaned them both roofs look band new.  Jim, who gave the estimate and Charles, the owner, are knowledgeable and friendly.  The only minor point was that Charles arrived about 90 minutes late.  However, shortly after the scheduled appointment time I was called and told he was running late and given the new appointment time.

Contacted the company through Angie's List and received a call the following day - Labor Day! I wasn't expecting to receive a call so quickly and on a holiday.  We scheduled an appointment to get an estimate and agreed to hire the company for their services. We are so glad we did! The roof looks brand new. In addition to being professional and punctual, Charles gave great care and attention to the details of the job. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to use them.

Everything went well.  I was contacted very promptly after sending an email through Angie's List looking for some general information.  I was able to set up an estimate within a day.  Price was very reasonable, and the Angie's List discount was nice.  Charles was at my house about a week and a half later to do the job.  He was quick and efficient and I appreciated his courtesy of accommodating my schedule that day.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The owner, Charles L. Hareld III, is a total pro and perfectionist. He takes tremendous pride in his work and is 100% customer-focused. His assistant is equally hard working, completely professional, and driven to deliver a high end product which results in 100% customer satisfaction. From the estimator who came to the house. to their secretary who scheduled the appt., to the way Charles introduced himself in person before beginning the job, to his assistant literally hosing down every single window of the house and every single piece off flagstone outside the barn, individually, to ensure a perfect, profesional, spot free clean up, this company is a class act from start to finish under Charles' management. It's a small company and a tight ship that exudes QC. With Charles, the customer is still king. What a breath of fresh air.

Everything went well.  I was contacted within a day of calling for a quote.  Jim the salesman came out to my house on the agreed upon day and time. and gave a through review of the service.
On the day of the work, Charles and his assistant showed up and went to work.  They were very efficient and thorough.  Both of them were willing to answer questions about the process.  The job took about 1.5 hours.  Steps included applying the cleaning product, rinsing off the roof, gutters and deck on that side of the house and then applying a treatment.  Everything around the area was cleaned of debris from the process.

They did a great job. Arrived on time and were done in a couple of hours. Removed black algae , moss and lichen. Then they cleaned the windows and sides of the house where the dirt fell, including the decks. The roof looks brand new. Great job. Highly recommend them !
