Installers (3) arrived on schedule & on time very professional & obviously very experienced. Completed project on schedule. Very clean work. Cleaned up site daily. Little if any disruption to landscape.

First time having a contractor do any work and we were a bit nervous. You always hear horror stories. We met with John Marshall for the estimate and right away he made us feel at ease. Very helpful and offered suggestions on how to keep the cost down and had some ideas we hadn't thought of. We got a few other estimates and Marshall Building was in the same ballpark as the others. We felt the most comfortable with Marshall so that is who we went with. Couldn't have been more pleased with everything. They did a beautiful job, the roofers were very professional, and the work was done very quickly. When they were done at the end of the day, everything was cleaned up like they hadn't even been there. We had one little minor thing and it was taken care of the very next morning. There have been a few heavy rainy days and we had no leaks or issues. I will be calling them in the early fall to install windows. And this time I won't be nervous.

They came when they said they were gonna come. the roof was done in 13 hours. No money down, and i didnt have to pay until all the work was done. I was very satisfied. they also cleaned everything up and took care of everything.

Tom Marshall the owner personally came to our house for the quote. He was very knowledgeable and honest. They got the job done fast in one shot, not the other contractor who debts of work between other jobs.

Marshall Bldg contractors showed up exactly on time & on the day that I was told they would be at my home. They were very professional, friendly & accommodating. Each person who worked on my home was positively meticulous, and did beautiful work. They also made sure that everything was cleaned up before the left.

It went very well, I was very pleased with the work that was done. They were very professional, they kept me appraised of timeframes and issues. They were very responsive and they even came back a few months later after a storm ripped a few shingles off and made sure that everything was fixed properly.

We contracted with Marshall Building and Remodeling to replace all windows, replace siding, replace sliding door, replace entry stair and install new gutters on our colonial style house. They responded quickly to a quote request and provided the estimate the same day Dave Marshall came out. Their estimate was in the middle of the several estimates we had done. However, they included many extras that impressed us with the cost versus value for our project. There was some delay in starting the project because they were busy and the holidays. We were kept updated about the start date. The four man crew, headed by Sean, started promptly on a Monday. They stripped the old siding and removed the old windows. Then they wrapped the entire house in Typar, followed by a layer of foam board insulation. They replaced the windows with Harvey new construction windows that included new interior trim. They replaced the siding with CertainTeed Monogram vinyl siding including many added details. The project was completed in 2.5 weeks, that included two non-working days for snow. We were very impressed with the high quality and efficiency of the work. We were also very impressed with the dedication of crew who worked through some difficult working conditions including working in the snow. We immediately noticed how much warmer the house was. An added benefit was the reduction in outside noise. We would be confident in using Marshall for our next home improvement project.

It was a 5 day job and everything work well. The house looks great.

Installers were prompt each day even when weather conditions were poor, such as temperature in 30 degree range work was excellent and completed on time.

After several delays (some weather-related, some not), Marshall Builders replaced the roof in one day. Unfortunately, they ran out of daylight and completed the job in the dark.

John Marshall sent subcontractors Ernie and Ernie Jr. to construct deck and they did outstanding work. Excellent craftsmanship. Jason and his partner rebuilt the bulkhead and did excellent work. John made sure every detail was completed to our satisfaction.

I have had windows replaced in the past by Marshall Contractors. They are very professional in their manner and accommodating to ones needs. The installer, Jeff, was courteous and got to work immediately. A job well done.

Dave Marshall visited to estimate the job. He explained our options and gave great advice on materials and his companies policies. The job was scheduled and started in a timely manner. The crew was professional & hard working. The results are excellent. Marshall's no money down and no payment until satisfied policy is so uncommon today, a true testament to the confidence they have in their workmanship and high level of service. Overall, an excellent experience and a great value. I would not hesitate to recommend Marshall Building & Remodeling to friends and will hire them again if I need further home improvements in the future.

My house was built in 1930 and has the idiosyncrasies that are typical in the that time period's construction techniques. I met with 2 members of the Marshalls- Tom and Andy on 2 separate occasions- one for windows and the second for the rest of the exterior of the house. They both are very personable, knowledgeable and professional as well as a 'no pressure' in regards to their quote and follow-ups. Their quotes were well below their competitors. After signing the contracts (the first contract was for windows and the second was for the remaining work), we set up a preliminary schedule about 10 to 12 weeks out. I was contacted at the appropiate time and work commensed. All their (sub) contractors were very good about letting me know when and where they were going to be working. The first part of the project was replacing old single pane windows and exterior storms with tripled glazed replacements . There were unseen issues with the windows in the house. Once the installer (who was excellent) got into the groove he replaced 20 windows in 3 days. Two more days were required for putting in windows in the porch that required some carpentry and installing the exterior door. (What an amazing difference the windows made on the porch). The windows and door have already made a huge difference to the house. Not only in appearance inside and out but also in temperature and noise. The roof (30 year architectural) was installed in one day. They even replaced the old flashing. We've had several large storms and there have been no issues. The siding, trim and gutters were the last and longest time project; approximately 7 days. They removed the old siding installed insulation over the preexisting insulation. The metal trim work they made for surrounding the windows was outstanding. There was an issue concerning reinstalling the pseudo 'helmet guard' on the new gutters. They installed their version of the leaf guard on the new gutters and it's even better than the old ones. All the contractors cleaned up after themselves and no damage was done to the property. Tom contacted me a few weeks after all the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. Having dealt with a variety of contractors over the last decade for many projects both residential and commercial I can assure you that Marshall is hands down the best contractors I have had the pleasure to work with. I can't stress enough at how pleasurable it was to work with people that cared about their craftsmanship and their reputation and would go the extra mile to make sure the work was done properly. I have a strong feeling I will be using their services in the future for some interior work that I would like to have done.
