The staff at the showroom/workshop were helpful, knowledgable, and great to work with. They guided us in selecting the best granite to meet our needs. After we finally settled on our patterns (Honed Black for the counters and Minsk Green for the island) they coordinated the creation of a template, cut the stone and arranged for its installation. The crew who installed the countertops were topnotch. They worked as a team in a well orchestrated, meticulous manner to get the job done. While installing the backsplash a section snapped. Rather than installing it as it was they insisted on replacing it with a new section which they did the following week. A recent follow-up visit by a service man addressed some scratches that we were responsible for and KCCNE did not charge us for the service.
The selection of granite at the showroom is amazing. The new countertops are beautiful and draws raves from everyone who sees them. The staff has been a pleasure to deal with. We could not be more pleased with the job.

The individual that worked with us was very nice, answered all our questions, and gave us get information. However, we found another company that price was much cheaper for the same granite counter.

We met with Joe to take pictures of our existing kitchen. Next we met with Mary Jane who already had done a detailed plan for the kitchen remodel. Mary Jane helped pick out our cabinets, granite, and hardware. They started on the exact date that they said they would (which was scheduled almost 2 mos in advance). The KCCNE team removed our old kitchen. They were very neat about all demo and install work. The electricians were outstanding! The tile work came out great. The plumber had some trouble reconnecting our reverse osmosis filtration system. However, KCCNE reimbursed us the cost of having the original RO installer come in to reattach the filtration system. They coordinated and completed the project quickly. Whenever small issues arose, Joe was accessible and responsive. We would absolutely recommend KCCNE. We are not great with design issues and could not have done this project without Mary Jane and Joe helping us every step of the way!

The total experience was great! We couldn't be happier with the result. Our kitchen was substantially finished in 16 working days, and the result is an absolutely gorgeous kitchen area that transforms our home. From day one when the demolition crew arrived until the end, we found everyone from KCCNE to be professional, skillful, personable, and accommodating. They tried to disrupt our lives as little as possible and cleaned everything up at the end of the day. Because all the carpenters, electricians, hardwood floor installers, plumbers, etc., connected with the project are employed by KCCNE and are not subcontracted, the project was choreographed to run smoothly and efficiently, with each component being scheduled so that we didn't sit around for days waiting for somebody to show up. The tradesmen were all skilled craftsmen, and their attention to small details added stylish features we would not have thought of and was beyond our expectations. We are would definitely recommend KCCNE without hesitation.

There were a couple of snags, but they fixed everything and the end result is fabulous. They are very professional, on time, and responsive. The quality of the work is unbelievable. It is wonderful.

The overall experience was great. From the first meeting with Joe Pakuris, we were very impressed with both his business philosophy and his ability to connect with the customer. Following an office consultation was a home visit to discuss design options. Next came several meetings to go over the final design and to select cabinetry and granite for the countertops. Prior to the work being started Joe directed us to other business providers where we picked out appliances, plumbing fixtures, and lighting. These other businees coordinate with KCCNE so that installaton of these other aspects of the revnovation go smoothly. Becasue KCCNE has their own plumbing, electrical and installation crews, the work is able to be done in a very reasonable amount of time. Considering that your home is in complete upheaval, the fact that the time is only a few weeks, makes the experience much more bearable. Joe and his staff, both office and onsite, were very responsive to all our questions and concerns, both before and during the renovation process. All members of the work crews were professional and pleasant and able to establish a positive relationship with the customer. They were mindful of how disruptive this process can be to the owner and everyone cleaned up at the end of each day. As with any major undertaking sometimes unexpected developments arise, these were taken in stride and considered as challenges, not problems. Because of this "can-do" spirit, any anxiety on our part was alleviated. We did make the suggestion to Joe and his office staff that the customer be alerted to any changes to the work schedule a day or so in advance, if at all possible.We have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering a kitchen and/or bathroom renovation regardless of the size of your project.

The estimate/contract was clear and complete. They started and finished as scheduled. They were clean and professional. They did everything as stated and corrected it as scheduled standing by all work even after a year.

I didn't use this company. It felt like they were in a rush to get the job and get it done. I just felt like I was another sale. There was no connection there.

They hire their own people and manage the coordination of a kitchen redo which is convenient, but we had difficulty with them in terms of some of the quality of the material and some of the understanding of what was going into the kitchen and the quality of the flooring. It wasn't the very best type of work. They got the job done, but there was also a lot of supervision in having them redo things to fix different problems. I truly don't know the worth of the work done. After pressing them, they did pull up and redid the floor. They exceeded to pulling up the sub floor at our request, otherwise, the kitchen floor would have been above the floors of the other rooms. We had splinter poured all over the basement. There were hundreds of little holes in the planks. After complaining, they got the wood from another company. The people who installed were sloppy with their hammer banging. They actually damaged some of the sides of the plank. They put a plank edging that went over the basement stairs. It had jetted out so far that we had about 5 inches to put our foot down on the first step. They did redo that. The tile was put in by someone had no finished edge. I didn't know that until one of the workmen came and said that to me. They sent somebody back to put a finished edge on it. Under the lips of the edges that go down one step, we had to fill it with clacking. I do not know why they did that. It was not a very good experience. We saw it all way. I even had to go into a corner and take the paint myself because they neglected a 2-inch segment that was between door frames. They had just skipped it. There is a pantry that was inserted into the wall. They inserted while the painters still had the blue tape on the wall. We had to work to pullout the edges of the blue tape. They were pretty punctual. No, I would not use this company in the future.

A good feature is the owner visits and assesses each individual house. They have their own electricians, plumbers, plasterers, and painters. There's an overall contractor so you are not going out trying to find other people to complete the job.

Great. This was a pretty massive job overall. Turning a warming kitchen and an adjacent apartment kitchen into one large modern kitchen in a house that was very chopped up with dated electrical and plumbing. Eddy was a great designer. He'll push you towards the more expensive things, but if you hold your ground he gets on board with your budget and things will go great. The whole crew was very professional and a pleasure to be around. There are the usual big projects caveats: appliances add up, the detail things (lighting fixtures, backsplash) are additional but overall this was a wonderful experience.
