Dry Cleaning Service
$35
After my last experience, I will never be taking my clothes/coats to this cleanser for their dry cleaning services again. I recently brought 3 wool coats to this store for dry cleaning. Two of the coats were of black wool, and the third was a tan and black small checked plaid. Both black coats showed some moderate piling, and needed cleaning. The third coat needed just cleaning. When I picked up the coats, I took off the plastic to look at them before leaving, and noticed that none of the pilling was done, but even worse, the coats did not look like they were even dry cleaned. There were spots under the color, and there were short animal hairs all over both coats. Spots of lint, and patches of "stuff" that clearly should of been checked before handing back to the customer. I showed the young man behind the counter who was waiting on me, and he did not offer any explanation to why the coats were not "cleaned" to my liking. Our coats were clearly not cleaned properly, and NEVER pilled. When further asked about this?the young man told me that it was an "extra charge" for pilling. I was not aware that there was an "extra" charge for this. Most dry cleansers I have used in the past usually included this in the overall price of the cleaning.. I also showed him the spots and hairs that were still on the coat. He acted as though it was not a big deal, and that I should just take the coats. I asked him how they clean their clothes, and he said they throw them in a machine..and that's it. Well, I can do that at home on my dry cleaning setting on my dryer! He was very rude, and I asked if the owner was there, and he said he was the owner. He reluctantly to do the pilling at no charge and to "reclean" the coats. So I left the two coats for them to be pilled. When I returned back to the cleansers to pick them up?the same young man was there. He obviously remembered me, and he had an attitude. He immediately looked at me and said, "just to let you know, we normally charge $10 dollars for this service", and I replied, "well, do you remember the condition of these coats when I left them with you?" First of all, how dare he talk to me like that?! I am a customer. He was so rude? Both coats were still dirty, still had hairs on them, and the pilling was not done. Both sleeves had pills on them, the coats still had hairs., and this man refused to even acknowledge it. He was very arguementative, never apologized, talked over me, and was the rudest person I have come across in customer service in a long time. This is a family owned business, with rude family members running it. I am a local business owner, and I would NEVER talk to my clients as this young man did. I would suggest taking your clothes elsewhere if you want your clothes cleaned properly, and want personal and professional service.
