This is ARK Home Improvement’s 4th job with us. The craftsmanship & professionalism is the reason why Noah is our first & only choice. We had our deck built about 10 years ago with pre treated timber. It has started to rot in places from general wear. Noah suggested replacing the entire bottom, railings & stairs with cedar as to its beauty & durability. The finished deck is absolutely beautiful. Noah hand picked each plank he used. It has a rich grain pattern that adds natural beauty & warmth as well as its lasting durability. Thank you Noah.

It went wonderfully. Kickboard wasn't really attached to anything and he fixed that. Redid the trim paint around the entry as well. We have used Noah before and as always was very professional and we were very happy with his work. Looks great!

We were going to re-tile the bathroom floor, but Noah suggested a alternative to save us money. We used Traffic Master floating floor. He did a superb job and his attention to detail was exemplary. This is our second project with Noah and have no hesitation recommending him for any household projects you require.

It went great! Noah was a professional. Came out on time for the estimate and made sure all our questions were answered. He then power washed the deck. We picked our color and then a couple days later, he sanded and stained the deck. Asked us to check the deck afterward for us to see his work and if we had any issues, which we did not. Already thinking of hiring again for future projects. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

This was the second time we hired Ark Home Improvement for a renovation project, and they were every bit as professional, thorough and considerate as the first time. Their work, craftsmanship and attention to detail are excellent. They not only care about giving their customers what they want, but they take true pride in their work, and it really shows. The results are always impeccable. We get so many compliments from neighbors and passersby on the work that Ark Home Improvement did, and we're always quick to recommend them to everybody. We're already planning our next renovation project, and there's nobody other than Noah and his team that we'd trust to do the work.

Noah arrived when he said he would and kept us informed about the availability of supplies - difficult during COVID times. We were amazed that the job was completed in four days. The quality of his work is exceptional with great attention to detail. We are hiring him to work on other projects we have. Meanwhile, we are enjoying our new deck!

Ark construction is fabulous! Thanks to Noah and crew, the new deck was completed in four days. The job was done to perfection... especially liked his design to mount the railing outside of the posts and top it with a shelf which tied everything together and gave it additional strength besides the "shelf for beverages." We are having him do additional work on our house in the future.

"it is unfortunate that this review was made to make a point of unsatisfactory workmanship. As most things in life and business i will make the best of it:). In my opinion, the homeowners reviewing me are not even the homeowners. the homeowner is their Mom. When the reviewer says "he" i believe it is a personal issue, not a professional one. I had one of my Carpenters installing on this project with me just to clarify. i was contacted by the husband/son we met after i sent him an estimate. we discussed the project, details and goals. The husband added on additional items and i said no problem with including extra trim and roofing repairs. When we showed up and started with the project i met the sister and later in the day the wife. the wife asked me several questions which i answered and explained what we were doing for them.... * quality materials, proper install and making it look great.* we installed the new siding, trim for the bump out dormers as agreed upon. We performed additional work, extra composite trim installed, fixed the roofing shingles on both sides of the house that were falling off as a courtesy to the customer. We wrapped up the job as discussed and reviewed. I recieved an email from the husband the next day stating he saw the project and had some issues, a unlevel board and two trim boards that had a seam in it. very minor stuff. i called him and discussed what he mentioned, i explained what we did and why there was an underlying issue with the levelness of the flashing on both the dormers( 70 year old house), hence why we installed the boards that way. i asked if we could meet and review everything, i said I wanted him to be happy so whatever it takes to do so. i mentioned that i would like to receive payment for the work as well. i talked to him for 30 minutes, he then said he didn't want to meet or for me to do anything else to make him happy. he stated that he would mail the final payment. I mentioned that if you do not want give me the opportunity to make you feel good about the project what do you expect from me a discount? Interesting facts- the trim in question is completely straight and sealed, the trim is 20 feet high and you need a zoom lens or elevator to see it. it is made of composite material and being painted (as stated by the homeowners). this is typical of the construction industry, homeowners give reviews for revenge becuse of their lack of understanding or respect for the trades. We were very happy with the outcome as well as the consistent commitment to quality work. Our house is very old, and that made many things more challenging and some initial plans had to change as the work progressed. This was all handled smoothly and without interruption to the expected schedule. Noah and his team were hardworking, efficient, friendly, considerate and as unobtrusive as you can hope for with this much work going on at once. We also have two big dogs, and Noah was very accommodating in working around them.

Noah was actually referred to us by another contractor who was unable to do the job for us. He responded to our phone call quickly and made an immediate appointment to assess the needed repair, as we were under a time constraint. He not only gave us an estimate that we were happy with, he also made the repairs with no disruption and no damage to the inside of our house. We were advised by every other contractor we contacted that this could possibly happen. He was very professional and friendly and had the work completed in a far shorter time period than we expected. He kept us informed of everything he was doing. Once our town inspector approved the repair, Noah finished closing in the wall so neatly, that you would be hard pressed to find evidence that he was there. Needless to say, we would recommend Ark Home Improvement to everyone.

Noah and his team are outstanding!! From the very first email we sent asking for a quote all the way through the entire project, not a single bad thing to say. Noah set a time to come out and take a look at our project, showed up on time and ready to go. We walked him through the details of what we wanted to do, showed him plans we had drawn up, he listed to us, suggested changes and / or different ways to look at things, answered all of my inane, contemptibly ignorant construction questions and got right back to us with a quote. The quote was fair, nothing was hidden, everything spelled out. Noah walked us through the entire process, explained what was going on, did daily walk-through's with us answering all of our questions and addressing any items that we brought up (there weren't many and those that we did have were VERY minor). The work was done exactly how Noah described, any changes reviewed with us first, again there weren't many needed. We were made aware of any potential delays, all of which were inspection / materials related, so we were never left wondering what was going on. His crew was fantastic, professional, personable, punctual, etc. Always on time and always working. EVERY night they left the site clean and organized, there was never a mess left behind. When the job was done you everything was clean and move in ready.... If I didn't live there I never would have known that they had done all that work, everything was tied into the existing footprint perfectly and left spotless. Long review longer, Noah and his team at Ark or top notch all the way. We will never use anyone else, not sure how good that is for you Noah :). I can't recommend them enough. THANKS!!!

Noah was a pleasure to work with and did a beautiful job renovating our sunroom, which was in terrible shape--rotting paneling and woodwork, old carpet, a ridiculous window into the living room. He and his crew were able to transform the room into a lovely, comfortable space, and do some additional work (repointing chimney, basement ceiling repairs, window calking) in a little more than a couple weeks. He came up with creative solutions to address the woodwork problem in the sunroom, and the resulting craftsmanship is perfect and looks great. He and his crew are cheerful, punctual and conscientious, and we enjoyed doing business with them. Their work is careful and professional, with constant attention to detail. We highly recommend Ark Home Improvement and intend to use them again when we are ready to redo our kitchen.

My wife and I had a plumbing leak which did serious damage to two bathrooms in our new home. Ark Home Improvement was able to give an estimate and complete the repairs in a very timely and professional manner. They did great work and went above and beyond for us. I would hire them again for any repairs or other work in the future. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We hired Noah to make our 620 sf basement paint ready. The basement had been flooded and was ripped out down to the studs. We needed him to insulate, hang drywall, plaster, and sand. He was incredibly efficient and organized. He came in and hung the drywall on Thursday, plastered on Friday, let it dry over the weekend, then sanded and finished on Monday and Tuesday. He responded in a timely way via both email and phone, and was able to work within the very fast turnaround we needed. He was also really nice. His work was high quality, and exactly as promised. I would definitely hire Ark again.

We received quotes from multiple contractors to update our attic which previous homeowners finished in the early 1970s. Of all the contractors we talked with, Noah, the owner of Ark Home Improvement, was the most responsive, punctual and friendly. He even spent a few hours with us the first time he came out to the house for the quote and really listened to how we planned to use the space and what our future house, work and life plans were. In the end, he suggested some things that were different from (and less expensive than) what we'd been thinking, but his ideas made a lot of sense and we really appreciated his input, so we went with what he suggested. Throughout the remodel Noah and his team were extremely punctual, helpful and respectful, they cleaned up after themselves everyday, made sure any questions we had were answered and finished the job on budget and in about 3/4 of the time we'd planned for. We love our new attic/home office. We've worked with other contractors for previous projects (kitchen renovation, etc.), but none of them came close to the job that Ark Home Improvement did. Noah and his team will definitely be our go-to contractors for any and all future home projects.

This was a very good experience from start to finish. My inquiry was responded to immediately. Noah, the owner, scheduled a consultation, showed up on time, gave a reasonable quote and expectations of the job I was asking for. When it came time to do the work, again Noah was on time with everything they needed to complete the job. They were very courteous, professional and thorough. They explained to me everything that was happening along the way and kept good attention to detail. The job took just about a day, just as Noah planned. They cleaned up after themselves and walked me through the finished product ensuring I was satisfied with the job. I am very pleased and happy with the work Ark Home Improvement performed. They even brought in my garbage bins from the curb... little thing, but much appreciated.

Noah and his team were great. He was very quick to respond initially and I like that he was present for all phases - came to give us a quote, came back to do the contract paperwork, and was there working with the crew. He was willing to work with me on any questions or requests I had to adjust something along the way, and had great tips on how we could continue to upgrade the basement in the future. We had a tight budget that he was able to work with, and we are amazed and so grateful for how he transformed our vision into a new livable space for us in the basement. Right from first contact Noah was very professional. We set up a time for him to look at the job, he was right on time and got back to me with an estimate within a few days. From the time he started the job to completion he and his crew showed up each day ontime, he knew exactly what I needed done and the job was done in 2-1/2 days.
