We have hired Pete on two occasions over the course of this and last summer to look at repairs for our very neglected decks. Pete was very responsive and came quickly to look at the decks and gave an estimate within 48hours. The pricing was very reasonable, and Pete was very honest and answered all of my questions, and explained how he arrived at his pricing and his assessment of the work that needed to be done. He noticed our crumbling retaining wall and put together a plan to salvage existing wood from the wall and use as minimal new materials as possible to save cost but also have a quality end result. All work was completed quickly as weather allowed (even sometime working in the rain) and Pete and his crew were always professional and worked quickly and cleaned everything better than when he started the projects. Pete also noticed that once he applied the stain to our mahogany deck, it didn't lay the way that he wanted, and HE brought this up to us. He also talked to the manufacturer of the stain and was able to get the product and redo the deck with no cost to us. He redid the deck and it looks beautiful, as well as fixed some boards that were loosening in both decks, at no additional change. Hire Pete, his work is beautiful, his prices reasonable, and he is a person of integrity! We will definitely work with him in the future.

I Met Pete Medeiros (owner) of PLM Home improvement when he came to my home in Attleboro to see my basement that I wanted to finish. I liked Pete right from the beginning. He was very personal and very helpful to the type of ideas I had regarding the basement. I know nothing about construction. My wife and I both felt very comfortable talking to him. He gave us ideas and we went back and forth with them. He was very respectful to my wife and I. He was very professional. He took all the information need to give us a quote. He told us that he will get back to us with an estimate. He did just that, and within 1 day, we had a quote. To our satisfaction it was the lowest quote from the other contractors. My wife and I decided to hire him, and boy were we happy with our decision!!...Now, we all know its really hard to find a good reliable contractor. I must say there is a reason why i gave all A's on my review. He satisfied both my wife and I on every aspect. His work is impeccable. I was amaze on how he made my basement look. So I actually hired him AGAIN! This time I hired him to do my 300 linear feet Vinyl fence. once again he had outdone him self. Not only he gave me an excellent price but he did a tremendous job. He went above and beyond to make sure the fence was install properly considering the area where the fence was going to be installed. We had a lot of areas where water was an issue. Of course Pete knew what to do. I like that about him he knows how to fix anything. I defiantly recommend PLM home improvements. I will definitely hire Pete again!

I called and set up a visit to our house. He asked me to text him the address because I was driving. I did. I took the morning off from work He didn't show up (but didn't call), and said my text didn't go through (my texting has never failed before). Then he shows up for another visit. Looks around, doesn't take any notes (how can he remember everything we wanted him to do?). Said he would get me a quote. Never sent a quote. Called him again. Said he was busy and he would get me a quote by the next weekend. It's been a week and I still haven't heard from him. This guy is unreliable... be careful... I don't want unreliable people working for me.

It was a pleasure to work with Pete and his crew. They were all very professional. Our basement came out better than expected! He was fair , honest, and flexible! We will definitely be hring him again for our future projects!

Peter didn't show nor call on 2 occasions. We will find someone else that wants the work.

we have now contracted with PLM for three projects and were extremely satisfied. Peter was easy to work with, provided invaluable advise on the projects and went 'above and beyond'. Additionally, we had checked his references and they were solid as well.

Pete was very through. He stopped by at my convenience, and looked over the project, provided me with a reasonable quote, arrived on time, and worked until the job was done. Pete runs a family business, and are very conscientious and respectful. Since this was the only working bathroom we had in the house, we needed to schedule it when my wife and daughter were going to be away. Pete was able to accommodate the schedule, and actually worked through the weekend, so the project would be complete before my wife and daughter arrived home. When they were done, the bathroom was better than I thought it could be. The bathroom, hallway, and stairs were cleaned to the point where my wife questioned whether the work was down when she first came home. Pete and his team did a very professional job, and went out of their way to make sure it was done right, not just done. I have another bathroom in the basement, which I hope to remodel in the next 6 months. Pete will definitely be my first and last call. It is always nice to know you have a reputable contractor that you trust. PLM Home Improvement is that contractor for me.

Pete and his employee Bob were always professional. punctual, and gave good advice about the best materials to use for our project. The result is beautiful! I will hire them again in a heartbeat! A+++++++ all around company and service!

Wonderfully. The consultation was excellent, and they had great ideas to supplement what I was asking for. The team had good attention to detail, thinking of features on the shelving that I didn't even think of myself. They also tended to all of the details on the exterior work I needed. They were attentive with scheduling, and the work went smoothly, even including clean-up at the end of each day. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others.

Pete was able to come in and place the tile very quickly and did a excellent job. My basement subfloor is extremely uneven but he was able work magic and get the new tile as level as it possibly could be considering the floor. I am very happy with the results and would whole heartily recommend PLM.

Have used PLM several times. Their service, knowledge ,reliability and integrity are unimpeachable. Not only are their costs very competitive, Pete and his crew go the extra mile and resolve all the extra "surprises " that arise when re- modelling an older home. I wouldn't use anybody else.

Pete was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt, responsive to our inquiries, kept to an agreed upon timeline, and did wonderful work. Overall, he was a consummate professional.

He just recently finished a project for me, just yesterday in fact. It was done at a rental property I own. I'm looking at him to hire for another project.

Everything was exceptional! Peter was on time each day and updated us what was on the agenda for the following day before leaving. While Pete subcontracts the floor finishing, they came out great. Peter and his team took good care to protect the floor before demo and during the work. The room is no longer dull and cold thanks to Peter. I did my due diligence by quoting 3 contractors and also had previously priced out materials. I thought Peter's price was spot on for material, labor, and allowed a reasonable profit. One of the most important things for my wife was she felt comfortable in the house while I had to go to work. She started out 9 months pregnant and delivered during the middle of the project. Peter even brought in packages that were delivered one day (she wanted to make sure he got kudos and a Thank You).

That was fine. The price was fine.

Peter is a+ he showed up on time and was very courteous. Very polite and trustworthy. He went above and beyond to make sure that what he was doing was what we wanted. Peters finish work is very professional and he takes the time to do it right. Work ethics like this are hard to come by in this state. If you are looking for someone to trust and to make sure that your best interest is always at mind then Plm is the choice

It went fine. I finally was able to schedule and got it done recently. It took a while. We had an original schedule that took about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks to get scheduled and then they didn't show up on the day they were supposed to be scheduled and I called looking for him and he rescheduled. Once they were here, it was great. They were punctual and very professional. Everything was great while they were here. They tidied, and they seemed to know what he was talking about and what he was doing. Everything was done quickly and well. The day he showed up, he was right on time, and everything was perfect. The other day they completely didn't show up and didn't call so I had to go looking for him.

It went great, Pete and his associate did a great job and didn't leave a mess. I would recommend them to anyone of my friends. Polite and courteous:)

Pete is quite skilled and very knowledgeable. He assessed my various problems immediately, and understood how to solve and correct the issues I had right away. I felt totally comfortable with him, and would hire him again. He is a gentleman, and a hard worker who aims to provide great customer service. It is good knowing someone local that is this handy and knowledgeable about all kinds carpentry work!

Pete was awesome. He really took pride in his work, worked hard the entire time, and was as nice as he could be. He was extremely patient with my thousands of questions and when I asked about other work I wanted done, was open and honest even if it meant it would not be as much money. With regard to the work he did for me, it is clear he's a perfectionist who takes pride in his work, and I found him honest and reliable. I would (and most likely will) work with him again in the future without reservation! I got an Angies list special coupon for a number of hours of handyman work, and it was money well, well spent!

They arrived on the agreed upon time and went about efficiently repairing the ceiling in two rooms. They were even able to add some lighting that was not part of the original job for a small additional charge.
