Jason the technician arrived on time. He was courteous and quick. The job was right, fast service. I called @ 8am he was here @ 9am. Price was reasonable. Would call for service again!

Scheduled for 6/1/2012 but needed to re-schedule due to electrical storms. Scheduled for 6/8/12. The Techniciann called prior to coming and all went smoothly. Cleaned out a mose nest in the compressor and caulked the openings to prevent the same from happening again.

They were efficient and on time. We needed a repair on the furnace and they came to fix it right away on a Friday evening.

They were very courteous and prompt for the two days that they were performing the work. There were two gentleman that performed all of the work as well as an individual who made deliveries as equipment was needed. Once all of the work had been completed they were sure to go over every aspect of the newly installed equipment and all of its features. Also, after every day of work they were sure to ensure that the floor and areas were swept and anything that had been moved or adjusted was put back to its rightful place. I will be sure to continue to use them as well as make sure that I recommend them to anyone that is looking for professional service.

We have been having issues with my Lennox heat pump for about 2 years now. The pump continuously failed and shut down. Knoechel tried everything to fix it for us (the pump is relatively new). After about the third time the pump failed on us, Knoechel stopped charging for the service calls because this was happening so frequently. In January, they were able to finally figure out that a valve was malfunctioning and fix it. Fortunately, the valve was covered under our warrenty. Overall, I would recommend Knoechel because they tried everything to fix the pump (I'm not certain how I feel about Lennox). Everyone is very professional, prompt and courteous.

Scheduling was abreeze - the scheduler was highly professional and friendly. I could select an early morning appointment and they arrived 15 minutes early after cvalling first! Two technicians came to my home about 7:45 AM and proceeded with the inspection and cleaning. The used a scopeand maneuvered it to show me what the problem areas were so I could see first hand. They took time to educate me about how a furnace works and about what had caused the hairline cracks. They informed me that no carbon monoxide was leaking at this time and described potential future difficulties in an appropriate manner. They gave mr information about my furnace such as it being 26 years old and about its level of efficiency. They also offered to send another professional who could explain what my options were. The owner called while the technicians were there and set up an appointment with me later that day to discuss various options. He provided much detail about several new furnace models in varying price rnges and level of efficiency. He also included much detail about plastic piping versus metal pipes and about the compatibility of my air conditioner as well as humidifier. He offered to answer any questions we might have and gave us both his e-mail and phone number.

Service appointment was scheduled at our convenience and completed as scheduled.

Our furnace would not start last Thursday. We have been having difficulty finding someone to repair an Amana furnace. They confirmed that they could repair the furnace. I set up an appointment for today. He showed up at our door at 8:00 A.M. this morning. He confirmed that it was the ignitor and said it would be ready in ten minutes. He told me exactly how much it would be. The repair guy was very professional and focused on his work and out of here 45 minutes later. I would recommend them to anyone and will be calling them in the future to check out the a/c in the spring.

I called Knoechel on Monday morning and they did not have anyone available to clean the furnace until early October. When I mentioned that the furnace would not turn on, they moved me up in priority and was able to get someone here by Friday. The technician had a great personality. He did not come in rattling off his resume as so many do. This is the first time I have had a cleaning where no part was replaced, just cleaned! The problem with the furnace not turning on was a result of the exhaust fan not functioning. Due to the lack of use during the summer, the spindle had tightened up. Once the technician gently turned it with his plyers, the fan turned on immediately and the furnace started. My furnace is about 17 years old.

In the hottest part of the heat wave of 2011 our A/C went out. I called Knoechel (I think its pronounced Nog-el). They we're very courteous and ready to dispatch a service tech the next day. When the service technician came to my house he was friendly, he gave informative answers to my questions, and he was efficient in his work. In no time at all he found and replaced a bad starter capacitor, added one pound of freon, and cleaned the condenser's cooling fins. With my 14 year old unit, I was fearing the worst, but at $150 it ended up being a rather minor repair. Performance of our repaired unit has been great. In fact, it works even better than before. I'll call Knoechel again. They've got it together.

After looking for a highly recommended company on Angie's List, I phoned Knoechel Heating on the morning of July 6, 2011 at about 8:10A.M. asking for a technician to come out and check my A/C unit, which wasn't running correctly. I was pleasantly amazed that they were able to set the appointment for that very afternoon. I then received a call from them at about 9:45 saying that they could come earlier if I wanted. Joe arrived at about 10:10 and went right to work on determining what was wrong. He was efficient, professional and friendly. He cleaned the unit, replaced one part, and reconnected everything, making sure all was in good working order. I guess usually there is a wait for an appointment of up to two weeks, but I guess my luck was running high. I was also able to use a coupon that they offered for services on the Angie's list site, and Joe informed me that my electric company had a rebate offer covering A/C tune-ups. He filled out his portion of the form for me and explained what I needed to do. Once I recieve that rebate, I will only have actually spent $81 on the repairs! This was a great experience, and I am definitely going to call them to do a furnace tune-up for me later this summer! I would HIGHLY recommend Knoechel Heating to anyone in our area! Fantastic service and price.

They did very nice work and they were very punctual. They are a Carrier and Trane dealer. They are reasonably priced and professional. I would recommend them for someone needing HVAC work. The apartment had never had central air so it was quite a big project. It was a second story apartment with a furnace that was actually an attic furnace because of the type of building it is. It was kind of an elaborate deal they had to do. They did a real nice job. There are only a handful of HVAC contractors in our area and I called three different ones. Knoechel had ads on TV and they are a Lennox dealer. They are just down the road from my office. Their price was right in the thick of things. It is a small town and I see Bruce Knoechel around town and talk to him. I hadn't used him before so I thought I would take a change and try them. They have a good reputation in the area and I was happy with the work they did. It is a family owned business and all the workers seem to be good guys. They seem to care about the work they do. Bruce does the majority of the estimating himself, which is nice to see. I will be calling him in the future for a furnace for our own home.

They came right out and were on time. They were very nice. They provided very good customer service - both the people in the office as well as the fellow that came out. They were very professional and responsive and seemed very reliable. We would have gone with them if it hadn?t been for the fact that the person who ended up doing it was recommended by a friend of ours. They were very reasonable. We got three estimates and they were all comparable. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

Prompt. Very clean, left no mess. Without question, I would not hesitate to use them again. Good work at reasonable rates

While cleaning my carpets I decided to lower the temperature on the air conditioning. I lowered the temperature on the thermostate and continued cleaning the carpets. Approximately 15 minutes later I walked by one of the floor vents and felt the air coming out but it was not cool. I went outside to the AC unit and it was not running. This was about 7:30 PM. Used Knoechel about 20 years ago and was satified with the work but decided to check Angie's List to see any recent posting. Called at 7:00 am today, spoke to Sharon who said someone could be here in the late afternoon. At about 10:30 AM she called me at work to say someone could be there at 11:00. Fortunately I live close to work and could leave. Jason (the serviceman) was there @ 11:00 and immediately went to the outside unit to determine the problem. He noticed that some contacts were corroded and also found that a bug had somehow gotten between some contacts which also prohibited the flow of electricity. He then came in and checked the unit in the basement to make sure all was well there. Jason was very good at explaining what was wrong and why it was not working.

Arrived promptly at appt. time. Examined the A/C, quickly determined the problem. Replaced the part. Completed within the first half hour. Excellent work. Reasonable rates. Would use again.

Service Guy called before arrival and showed up on time. Friendly and professional. System was checked and it was determined that my 20 year old A/C unit was just low on freon. A quick charge of freon and the house started to cool down.

They did a really good job; I was really happy with them. There were two guys that did the job in one day. They answered my questions really well and they were professional and courteous. They were friendly without being overly friendly. They didn't spend a lot of time chit-chatting with me when I ask them a question. I wanted to take advantage of the tax rebate, so I had them install the unit towards the end of the year. The price was similar to other prices. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Bruce Knoechel (company President) came to our home in late October to give us an estimate for a new furnace and central air conditioning. He did an excellent job of explaining our options - efficiency ratings, rebates being offered, etc. Then, of all six contractors who provided us proposals, Bruce did the most thorough job of explaining how the system would be installed, including various options. This was definitely a positive and contributing factor in choosing them. Once that decision was made, Bruce and his staff placed the order in a timely manner in order to take advantage of rebates from Lennox. Marty and Chris (installation crew) did an outstanding job! They showed up early, worked quietly, asked for my input/preferences on routing lines, pipes, etc. (am especially pleased with how they routed the PVC inlet and exhaust pipes for the furnace). They finished the entire job in one day (very neat installation of all components!) and left the work area very clean. Furnace is very quiet and provides a much more even heat than our old one. We would highly recommend Knoechel Heating to anyone!

The crew showed up on time. Were very polite and professional. They cleaned up any debris and removed it. They even leveled the original AC unit & pad. Trimmed a bush for the install and removed what they trimmed. Completed work in a timely manor. Called back in two days to check and see how it was working and to schedule a final tune of unit for peak efficiency. I am very pleased with the equipment and the install. Very pleased.

These guys did an amazing job. They were at my house the NEXT MORNING after we agreed on a price. Very courteous employees. I can't recommend this company enough. They even tried to make as little noise as possible in order to not wake our 9-month old! We're really looking forward to working with Knoechel again. Make sure to ask for Chris when you call. He's very knowledgeable, and reasonable with his pricing.

They provide really great service. They are very professional and informative. They never leave a mess and are also very prompt. We would use them again.

They are really good about coming back and fixing any problems you may have had with their work. The last time I needed something fixed that they had done, they came back out and fixed it at no additional charge. They are responsible and take responsibility for any mistakes they do. I would recommend them highly.

They were very prompt on returning service call. They phoned before appointment to advise what time to expect them. They explained problem with unit and offered suggestions for better performance/operation of unit.

COMPANY WAS VERY PROMPT. THEY ALSO KEPT THE AREA CLEAN DURING THE CLEAN UP. A FEW DAYS AFTER THE CLEANING, DEBRIS WAS COMING FROM THE FURNACE AND THEY RETURNED AT NO CHARGE AND SWEPT OUT REMAINING DEBRIS AND CLEANED ENTIRE AREA AGAIN.
