The owner (Scott) seemed very pleasant when he came to the house the first time to see the job and talk to us. That changed quickly once the contract was signed and he got the first check. It was very difficult to get Scott on the phone or through email. In total the job took around 7 months longer then proposed. There were multiple weeks where nobody was working at the house and we could never get an answer why. Most of the work done by this company is sub-contracted out and most of the sub-contractors were very shady. We stopped by the house to check on progress and found a pile of empty beer cans hidden in the trash pile. They took many important items from the house promising us that they could clean them to like new condition. We got a very small percentage of these items back including a filing cabinet with all of our family's personal documents. When asked about this Scott told us he would personally find the filing cabinet. Haven't heard anything about it since. They also offer a 5 year warranty but don't  plan on Scott standing behind it. We have numerous issues that are covered under the warranty and have tried contacting Scott by phone and email multiple times a week for the last few months but haven't gotten a call back. Also during the process Scott was very pushy when it came to money. Once telling us that the work would get done faster if he could get all 3 insurance checks and pressuring my wife about the checks on multiple occasions. If you want your home fixed in a timely manner and correctly I would recommend looking for a different contractor.

Roof continues to leak in the same spot. I called the Cameo office several times. Each time the operator says someone will call back. After 2 weeks of leaving messages an employee finally responded to my house and looked at the roof for about 5 minutes. He said he would look into it and contact me back. I have not heard from the employee since that date. I left more messages at the Cameo office for an up-date. As of this date I have heard nothing. They were quick to take my money but very slow in everything else.
 I would not use this company again!!!!

Cameo was very professional, efficient and friendly.  They did an awesome job of cleaning up the damage from 6" of water throughout our finished basement.  They dried everything out, sprayed for mold and removed all the "trash" which used to be my "stuff".  I would recommend them to a friend.

From the first dishonest encounter, all the way to the end it was very stressful. As I was trying to sift through the rubble and debris to get anything of value out of what was left, one of the restoration workers told me NOT to take any jewelry, that they would gather it all and have it cleaned. It was part of the service. When it was all over, we never got one piece of jewelry back. We never got a pin, an earring, nothing. Not one. There were items we told the workers, do not destroy or get rid of this if it cannot be restored because it has sentimental value. That information was completely discarded. In fact, there was a very sentimental item in the home. The most important item. Very small very fragile. We were going to take it, and the person in charge said he would personally transport it and store it and it would come back clean and fine. That item was ALSO broke when it came back. Even if you take out the dishonesty, the careless nature in which they treated even the most important items, the mere fact that it took over a YEAR to get back into the home is mind boggling. There were weeks on end where nothing was done and we were told it was because there was some other disaster elsewhere they had to work on. Sacrificing one customer's happiness for another just doesn't make sense. There were dozens of appointments for them to come back and fix things that they did incorrectly in the house that were not kept. There were lingering issues for months after we were back in the home. The experience of losing your home and just about everything in it is traumatic enough, and I would recommend if you do not want to make it even more traumatic to steer clear of this restoration company.

They did very good work. They did a super job of keeping us informed and hauled away a ton of stuff.

This company did an amazing job. I got a night-time call from my apartment manager saying that after two tenants called to report clogged toilets that she went to the building and found its rather huge basement swimming in sewage. A plumber cleared the clog, but Cameo was called for clean up of what was essentially toxic (and really smelly) waste. They responded immediately and did an incredibly thorough and efficient job. The basement looks and smells way better than it did before the sewage back up. They even managed to clean and restore to working order a newly installed dehumidifier that my apartment manager was certain was gone for good. They thoroughly cleaned and returned some bicycles that my tenants had stored there, which made me especially happy because a lot of the tenants don't take out renters insurance. Fortunately most of the cost to me was covered by my insurance, and Cameo did a great job working with them. There were no hitches in payment.
