T.L. Drewes Renovating and Remodeling

The contractor was due at my house between 8-9 AM. He arrived at 11 AM. He did not apologize for his lateness or even give a reason. He said, "Did you need to be somewhere else?" Then he said, "If you want I can come back." I said, "Yes, come back." He said, "Well call me." He clearly does not need my business so I will take my business elsewhere. If you need a contractor who shows up when he says he will (someone that has respect for your time as well as theirs), don't hire this guy.

Tim was very professional, the job was done in a timely manner and the quality of work was very high. We have ourselves a new handyman!

Tim and his helper Brian did an absolutely outstanding job. Simply could not have been a better experience. I would and will hire him again. My neighbor who was home and watched them work was so impressed I believe he's hired them for a few jobs on his house. I hate to be too complimentary if Tim gets too busy I won't be able to get him to come back! (kidding) If you need pretty much anything done with care, attention to detail and integrity "I have a guy for you"

Tim did a variety of jobs in our home and did them all very well. We’re very satisfied with everything and would certainly call him back for any future work.

It went very well. He finished it in 10 days. They did an excellent excellent job. I did a renovation in the house and that's the only wall we didn't have to renovate. He was very conscientious. He was here when he said he would be.

Tim was amazing. Everything was done extremely well and he is fantastic.

Tim called within a couple of hours in response to my original call. We made an appointment for Saturday at 6, (a weekend!) which I was very pleased about because of time constraints. I texted to see if he could change it to Friday. He was there within an hour of my call. He measured and inspected the doorway we wanted to have doors for and discussed options with us that would make the most sense, one of which we had not really considered; a sliding barn door which optimized space and would be most practical. Our homework was to find and order the door.

With the weather stripping of the front door, he took time to inspect and discovered the problem, (that the front door was not exactly installed correctly. He showed us that we had to just shut the door and give it an extra push so the lock clicked in for a second time and the door was tighter. He then went to his car and got a small piece of (I forget what it was called) but it pushed the weather stripping we already had there against the door. Problem solved. No charge. He saved us money and time with that --as he could have moved 2 of the door plates /catches and made it into a bigger project than it needed to be.

"What else do you have?" he said. We told him about the sticking lock and he went back and fixed it within a half hour. No charge.  He will be back as soon as we order the sliding barn door. Tim is quiet, knowledgable, detail oriented, and when circumstances require, inventive. I like to think of him as a kind of MacGuyver of handymen. He is fabulous. He's done a both outdoor repairs, as well as indoor and we have always been very happy with his work and his reasonable prices.  Call him.
