When it comes to comfort, having the āperfectā home is about creating an environment that always feels warm and inviting. A place that maintains the right temperature without a continual struggle. Where warmth comes naturally. Having the perfect home is about being able to control the environment you have built. That's where exterior thermal insulation comes in. Upgrading the insulation in the exterior walls, floors, and ceilings of your home will serve two purposes: ā¢Reduce the amount of energy needed to heat or cool the home ā¢Add to the comfort of the home by helping to regulate heat flow There are several benefits of an energy-efficient home: ā¢Reduces energy costs ā¢Provides a warmer or cooler place to live ā¢Helps you more easily qualify for mortgages ā¢Eases strain on the environment ā¢Reduces pollution The ability of insulation to resist heat transfer is rated by an R-value. Higher R-values mean greater insulating power. Savings vary, so find out why in the Seller's Fact Sheet on R-values. Fiberglass insulation achieves high R-values by trapping air within its network of glass fibers, separating the hot and cold sides. Building codes regulate the minimum required R-values for differing climates. Increasing R-values beyond minimum requirements is an affordable way to create a more comfortable living environment while helping ensure that your home will always be on the leading edge of energy-efficient design. Sound Comfort Interior Sound Control Insulation A home is more than just a roof over your head. It's a place to relax and leave the bustle of everyday life far behind you. But without the added comfort of sound control insulation, bothersome household noise can interrupt the peace and quiet. The kids playing in the family room. The garbage disposal in the kitchen. Or, your teenager's stereo playing upstairs. No matter what's going on inside the home, Sound insulation is an effective solution for reducing noise transmitted through walls, floors, and ceilings. And, reduced noise levels mean increased enjoyment in a new home. By adding Sound Comfort, you can take advantage of an affordable and effective way to maximize your enjoyment and get the most out of your new home, including: ā¢Reduced noise transmission between rooms ā¢Quieter, more comfortable living environment ā¢The feeling of a solid, well-built quality home ā¢Increased resale value and ease of resale

"I would like to see your proposal because you must be mistaken. We are a full service insulation company in business since 1957. Marty who most likely came to see you does 5 or 6 estimates per day and has over 20 years of expertise as first an installer, crew leader then as a salesman. He is now a partner in the company and is extremely knowledgeable. Some of my installers have been here almost 20 years. Is your kitchen over the garage? We have insulated close to 100,000 homes in the Delaware Valley (new and existing combined) in the past 58 years so I'm sure we could have improved yours. We work for major Developers as well as small and large GCs as well as home owners. Commercial buildings, spray foam, cellulose and fiberglass. I doubt anyone on Craigslist has been in the insulation business as long as we have. The Mark Group has been around 4 years and are now belly up out of business. Please call me because your post really has me confused. You gave us a D rating and we didn't even use our services. Jim Reilly President 215-659-9000 Thanks for your consideration in this matter it's serious to me."
"Thank You Spray foam installed to basement walls really helps to keep moisture from entering the home. Stack effect (warm air rising) actually pulls moisture from the lower level of a home and that moisture can wind up condensing in attic or else ware in the home. Moisture leads to all kinds of issues in the home and air quality is a main one. Closed Cell foam more than any other product reduces that moisture content."
"We have more experience than anyone in the area because founded by my father in 1957 we've just been here longer. Most companies offer you what the sell either spray foam or fiberglass or cellulose. We offer all of those products because they all work. Spray foam is typically the best product and we install a lot of it, but it is also the most expensive and not always the best choice for every job. My competition who only offer foam will of course tell you it is the only option. We try to give you the best value and work within your budget. Fiberglass and cellulose are very effective and we also install a lot of those products. We use mineral insulation for sound proofing. Thank you for your business abnd review. Jim Reilly"
"Thanks for considering Reilly Insulation. With existing homes they're are a considerable amount of issues involved to consider and all jobs are not solely based on a per square ft. measurement. At the end of the day our prices are usually very competitive when the job specifications are apples to apples. That's why we've been in business since 1957."
"Reilly Insulation has been in business since 1957. We endeavor to satisfy all of our customers. If the customer is not happy, we always go back and attempt to do what we need to do to make our customer happy. We gave Rich a written proposal which detailed removing and discarding his existing garage ceiling and existing insulation, then installing a nominal 4 inches of closed cell spray foam. Our spray foam technicians measured the depth of the installed foam and [Member's name removed] did get the nominal 4ā. Our proposal did not include re-installing the garage ceiling but we recommended someone for [Member's name removed.] Bill, who did the new drywall ceiling, has advised that no additional insulation was added after we left. He also knew of no walls that were damaged, as [Member's name removed] stated in his comments. Closed cell spray foam by nature is monolithic but coverage depth will vary. [Member's name removed] got the nominal 4 inches he paid for and next winter he will realize that we actually did a great job and that his floor, for the first time, will be comfortable. [Member's name removed] accusations are completely shocking to me and the fact that he paid in full and never called to discuss his evaluation of the work has me scratching my head. I will be the first to admit that sometimes issues arise that need to be addressed. These reviews are important to our business. I show them to my installers. I truly wish that [Member's name removed] had expressed his concerns with us in some way rather than unfairly trashing us with this negative review. Sincerely, Jim Reilly, President"
"In response to- A home is a system, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. We cannot be expected to educate every customer on how these systems work. We have to assume that most people are aware that a central heat/air system moves air continuously through the home and it pulls air to the furnace/air-handler through cold air returns. These returns are vital to the success of the system. Our installers know and informed you that we could not fill these returns with insulation. I apologize if you thought that was to happen. When Jim asked if you saw how much insulation had been installed, you said they filled all the cavities. When I came back out to inspect the completed job, Irene did tell me that the noise was now muffled, but on a Sunday they (the neighbors) had a party and she could hear it. I did not tell you the neighbor should do the same process, you said the sound is muffled so the procedure worked, as we discussed. If your neighbor did the same procedure, it would obviously decrease the transfer of sound more but that was not suggested. When we provide sound attenuation measures, as we did in your case, we expect to minimize sound transfer. We canāt guarantee complete sound separation. Weāve worked with sound engineers on projects and even after they design a protocol, the results are improved but there is no guarantee how successful the process will be. This was explained to you and a level of sound attenuation was achieved. As for the product, we do not install injected foam into wall cavities, that was never discussed. You signed a proposal specifying blown-in cellulose. We have had great success with this method on many projects but the customerās anticipated level of success does vary. As far as our estimate, I wish you had gotten other bids. Most likely you would have gotten similar procedures for more money. If you were to buy a similar new house today, it would probably have a light 3 ½ā sound attenuation batt in the wall cavity, we believe our product performs better than that batt of insulation. Weāve been in business since 1957 and have been very successful with this procedure but there have been times were the results did not meet the customerās expectations. I believe the day to day sound transfer has diminished. Unfortunately, it is not an exact science and I believe I made that clear to you. Marty Flannery, Vice President"
