CHEM-DRY OF MONTOGMERY COUNTY

Overall, it was a good experience.

I had previously used another Chem-Dry franchise to clean my rugs. I believed in the technique, but the other company let me down when after a week the rugs looked dingy and stains returned. Chem-Dry of Montgomery County has a stellar reputation, so I felt comfortable giving them my business. I was able to schedule the appointment a week ahead of time. The crew called that morning to find out if they could come at 9:15 instead of the scheduled 11:00 am, since they had a cancellation. I was already home at the time, so it worked out well for everybody. I explained my cleaning concerns and the crew got to work. Knowing that I was working from home, they respected my space and left my home office for last allowing me to maximize my work time. In about two hours they were done. The carpets look great! There was no up-selling. The crew was professional and respectful.

They are very good. I've used them twice already.

Two gentlemen arrived on time quickly cleaned. Rugs looked good. My only surprise was how long it took the rugs to dry. What was to have taken maybe 2 hours still had wet spots 6 hours later. Some of that long drying time can be attributed to the humid weather, but I did have the AC on. Overall very good.

My wife kind of dealt with all of this, but, from what I can tell you they did great. She did pay for it, but, she is very happy with it. I don't know what they charged as long as she is happy it must have been good. If it is usually too much she will try to hide the form from me. They were a few minutes late, but, sometimes that could mean two red lights, you know.

I called for an appointment and got one very promptly. There were two workers and they arrived right on time. They were polite and friendly. First they vacuumed the area, then they cleaned with chemicals, getting down on their hands and knees to scrub where necessary. They actually cleaned the area twice because it was so dirty. After they were finished, they explained that the cleaning process had lifted some lint and small debris from the edges of the carpet, which they said could be vacuumed up after the carpet dried (about 90 minutes). They gave me a can of spot carpet cleaner, explained how to use it, cleaned up their equipment and left.

I CALLED ON TUESDAY FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND WAS GIVEN ONE FOR THE VERY NEXT DAY. THE TIME WAS TO BE BETWEEN 2:00 AND 2:30. THE MEN ARRIVED AT 1:50. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING, IN THAT THEY ASKED WHAT FURNITURE I WANTED MOVED. THE OTHER COMPANY I'D USED IN THE PAST ONLY SENT ONE MAN AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD NOT MOVE ANY FURNITURE. I WAS VERY SURPRISED THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE SO WILLING TO MOVE WHATEVER I TOLD THEM. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I MENTIONED I'D GOTTEN THEIR NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST, THE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY INTERESTED BECAUSE HE'D JUST SEEN ANGIE ON TV THE OTHER NIGHT AND HIS INTEREST HAD BEEN PEAKED THEN. HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO CONTACT YOU. WHILE HERE, HE CALLED HIS BOSS TO REPORT THAT THEY WERE ON YOUR LIST AND HAD GOTTEN GOOD GRADES. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE USED YOUR LIST AND BOTH TIMES, I'VE BEEN VERY SATISFIED. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL CHEM-DRY THE NEXT TIME MY CARPETS NEED CLEANING. THANK YOU, MRS. JAMES WILSON

CHEM-DRY DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF CLEANING MY CARPETS, THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE HOME. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, THOROUGH AND HONEST. THEY HAD GIVEN ME A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FOR THE SERVICE AND UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB ACTUALLY LOWERED THE PRICE TO REFLECT THE ACTUAL TIME SPENT CLEANING MY CARPETS. I APPRECIATED THIS GESTURE AND I APPRECIATED THEIR HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. GREAT JOB ON THE CARPETS, INCLUDING REMOVAL OF SOME STUBBORN PET STAIN AREAS AND ODORS TOO. WONDERFUL!
