"I would like to say that we're sorry that your experience was not to your satisfaction. However I would like to explain a few things. After looking at your bill (I was not here that day) I checked on all the prices and everything was in order. Our prices have not changed since I purchased the business. Our labor rates are the same, the state inspection prices are actually lower than before. the 43.00 for your oil change is because your vehicle requires 7 quarts of oil. Normally an oil change would be 35 dollars for any vehicle up to 5 qts. The state requires us to test the emission system as follows, we must ensure that all of the emission components originally equipped for the vehicle must be present and visually in functioning order and also the gas cap must be tested. The machine that tests the cap is calibrated every 72 hours. We have no control over the pass or fail results of this machine. The list price on your gas cap was 63 dollars, you were charged 40. I hope we could change your mind in saying you would not hire us again. David Best, owner Duboistown Garage"
