The actual work on the floor went fine.  He was there when he said and the was finished the next day.  He was going to also put on new baseboard.  We had it set for the next week, he called to do it on the weekend and I was not available and told him to call the next week.  I never heard from him since.  I called and emailed him several times during the next 4 weeks and he never returned any calls.  Two months later I went on his website and filled out the information to have him come out to do an estimate.  I got a response via email in a few hours.  He said he would stop by the next evening.  When I responded back verifying that I would be there, I mentioned that he would be doing the same size room as the dining room that he already finished.  He never showed up or called.  Something is up and it just doesn't look good.  I had no fault with the work but it just seems as though something not good is going on.

He had pictures of others that he had done. I had no problem with him, even when I change my mind on things. I found a cabinet I like that didn't come in the color that match the bathroom that I was doing. He painted the cabinet for me.

Tom was able to repair the deep scratches on the floor. Tom worked with me to pick the perfect stain color.  I plan to call Tom in the future for another project in my house.
Tom is one of the nicest contractors that I ever met.

I cannot say enough good things about TMN Construction and Tom Neel. For this particular review, the job was the installation of engineered hardwood floors. He EVEN came to the flooring place to help advise me on the type of floor, etc. In fact, if it were not for Tom, I would be stuck with a ceramic floor instead of the hardwood I wanted because he knew better than the flooring people who told me I could not have hardwood over my radiant heat floor. From start to finish it was a quality job all the way. In fact, EVERY job that he has done for me has been quality all the way. When he brings someone to help with the job, they are equally skilled and professional. Tom runs a tight ship. He is even-tempered, gets things done, does the job right the first time, and does everything to your satisfaction. DON'T LET THE LACK OF REVIEWS ABOUT TMN CONSTRUCTION FOOL YOU! HE HAS A STEADY, SOLID BASE OF VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERSAND HAS ONLY RECENTLY PLACED HIS BUSINESS ON ANGIE'S LIST. If you need more proof, ask him to show you the MANY photos he has of every type of work he has done. 
There have been times when I have had other contractors, etc., come to do work at the various homes I have owned. Without fail, there is usually SOMETHING about the job that was not right. Tom's attention to EVERY detail of EVERY job made me relax and know that the BEST WORK would be done the first time! Without fail he always does his best. He even thought of things that I did not in EVERY job he has done for me. Thankfully, his comprehensive and thorough approach to work gave me peace of mind. My ONLY regret is that I did not know about him sooner! I would have saved a great deal of money, time, and aggravation. 
Remember the patio ceramic tile installation I talked about above? Well, this is the FIRST time EVER there have been NO leaks in my basement, thanks to his installation of a plastic underlay. The other people who attempted to fix this problem failed miserably. Unfortunately, TMN Construction had to correct their mistakes, but I am glad they did. 
His skills set is VAST: woodworking, carpentry, tile installation, hardwood floor installation, insulation...you name it...TMN Construction can do it! I am sure there are things he cannot do, but, HONESTLY, I cannot think of ANY!
