as well as responding to calls if I need service. The maintenance call usually lasts approx 2-3 hours. My system receives a thorough
cleaning and parts are are replaced if needed. My current HVAC system is TRANE and is 14 years old. In fact it was the system in-
stalled by the builder back in 2000. Great system, have experienced no major problems. My next scheduled maintenance will occur on 9/30/2014.

As a benefit to the client, we do provide a discount on the initial service call when they join a membership. This is always at the clients discretion. Our company policy towards our membership program is simple, the client is never locked into an annual contract. They may cancel at any time. Obviously it is never in our best interest to entice a client to join our plan because of our cancellation policy. Again, the client may choose to either join the membership program if they would like all the benefits that come with the plan or not join the program if it is not a benefit for them. In regards to your comment of "how they were going to fix it on the phone definitely didn't happen when they came out". You responded to our tune up offer of a $99 AC tune up with up to 2lbs of Freon included in the service. Upon arrival, our technician discovered that your system was not running properly. Upon reviewing your invoice, our company not only provided you a $99 AC Tune up, we also installed up to 2lbs of Freon at no additional charge. Yes you paid for additional Freon due to your system being approximately 6 lbs. undercharged as per the manufacturer specification plate on your machine. Our technician performed a refrigerant leak search at this time with inconclusive results. Also our technician repaired your condensate drain line at no additional charge. In regards to the comment "I couldn't call the boss". You spoke directly to Brian, who is our technicians immediate supervisor and our Service Manager. Due to your concerns, Brian scheduled a senior technician to come back to your home and repair the drain line to your satisfaction at no additional charge. We then sent our senior technician back to your home a 2nd time as per your request and reconfigured the drain line which you where originally satisfied with (approximately 1 month after our senior technician's 1st visit). While he was there, he reviewed the operation of the system and discovered that the system was not properly operating. He found the refrigerant leak and repaired it, installed the freon required per manufacturers specifications. He performed this service at no charge to you. Also he provided you with a recommendation to get the system to perform as per manufacturer specifications. As evident, our company prides itself on customer satisfaction and our guarantee is 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied we will redo the repair until you are at no cost to you. In addition, we guarantee our work for a period of 2 years from the original date of service and have honored our guarantee on 2 separate occasions as per our company standards. When we decided to get the new system, we met with a comfort consultant, Dan, at our home. He provided a tremendous amount of information, including a lot of technical information, for various systems. He also included prices, rebates and efficiency. Dan also measured each room to make sure that whatever we installed would be the most efficient. . It's important for me to point out that there was no pressure in his presentation. We didn't feel like we had to make a decision that night, which we didn't, but we felt armed with good, thorough information in order to make an informed decision.
All in and it has been a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

I feel the advertised services included with the tune-up were somewhat misleading. The write-up included "replacement of air filter", which apparently means if you have a new filter already on hand, they will put it in for you. My current filter was dirty, and I was told that a new one would be an extra $156 (somewhat less if I joined their service plan). Also included was to "apply protective coating to outdoor equipment". If there is such a coating, it is not readily visible on the outside of the unit or by looking down into the inside of the unit, and would have to have been applied right over the dirty surface. I neglected to ask about it before the technician left.
So, I think this is a good company-- just ask questions ahead of time and be sure you know exactly what's really included and what isn't and review every point before the technician leaves (which I will do the next time).
