The work was done neatly and in a quicker timeframe than I had expected. Sufficient crew was on hand to ensure a timely service.

The work was completed 9/17/2019, He and his team removed two large pine trees 50+ ft high and ground the stumps. They also removed a large brush pile. When they were finished, it didn't look like they had been here. It was all cleaned up perfectly. The work was completed by noon, and they did a great job!

Tina contacted me by email from their office the same day I requested a quote. Rob made a visit and provided a quote on the spot within one day. That was a Wednesday. He felt he could fit me into his schedule that Friday. Even though it snowed Thursday night, he kept the Friday schedule. A team of 3 men showed up late morning with all the right equipment and made short work of the tree removals, with very little disturbance to the yard. Everything was thoroughly cleaned up. I'm very pleased and would not hesitate to use them again.

Trees are gone. No issues.

Had a very good experience with Boswell, would definitely use again. Judging from the other quotes I got (and add onto that, the quality of their service), I thought their pricing was certainly reasonable. They did excellent work and cleaned up well afterwards.

Rob was very good and explained exactly how the trees would be trimmed and was very responsive.

Unlike the 2 other tree companies I contacted, Rob answered my call in a timely manner and was punctual in showing up for the estimate. I was impressed with his professionalism and honesty--not trying to sell me on services that I didn't need. He did not take any payment up front. I explained that I was in a time crunch for getting the work done and he worked to fit me into his schedule. The crew were all friendly and easy to work with. Rob personally supervised the job. The property was left neat and clean. I would definitely hire again.

As a result of the hurricanes down south, the crews that would normally have taken care of my tree were called away. I had to wait until later in October to have a full crew present, but that was ok as by then most of the leaves had cleared from the trees, and the crew that did arrive was fully prepped with an extensive amount of equipment from power lifts to a truly powerful Wood Chipper. They arrived just before 8:00AM and over the next four hours impressed me with their professionalism. The entire job, both trees, were done by noon, and they cleaned up the entire area with only a minor amount of debris. Again, a truly professional job.

Rob came and did the work as planned. They were prompt, professional and courteous. They cleaned-up when they were done and overall did a fabulous job!

Prompt call back, great communication, showed up exactly as promised - excellent/professional job quick and great cleanup. Followed up to complete stump grinding as promised.

The tree in question was interfering with main sewer line leading out of the house. The quote we received from Boswell's was fantastic compared to others in our local area. The work was done efficiently and cleanly. Couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Bowell's Tree Service.

Rob came out and provided me with a fair estimate. This was actually the 2nd time I used Boswell's and they are always prompt and fair. We discussed how he was going to trim back the tree while still being able to save most of the shade that it provided. When it came time to do the work the crew did a great job cutting back the damaged tree. Also, they quickly and safely removed another large tree that was next to my house. Did a good job cleaning up as well. I would highly recommend using Boswell's.

Overall the project exceeded expectations. Minimal damage to lawn despite large trees. Clean up was exceptional. Stump grinding removed stumps completely. Quality of the job made the cost less painful. Nothing for me to do except remove some residual stump grindings, get a load of top soil and reseed.

I have used Boswell Tree Service once before so when I figured I had to have a couple of  trees taken down I called Rob.   Rob came and reviewed the work.  He had some good suggestions for other things that needed to be done.   We agreed on the price.   A couple of weeks later he called and said his team would be there the next day.  And the next day, first thing, his team was there doing the work.   Rob came a little later.  Everything was done according to what we agree to.  All of the debris (including the two trees) were cleaned up and removed.  It was exactly what I wanted done.  A great job!

A very large oak tree in my back yard had been struck by lightning two years ago and large sections of the tree were now dying.  One extremely heavy limb impaled my deck and other branches were falling on my house and property almost daily.  Rob Boswell took time from a very busy schedule (recent storms had caused major tree damage throughout the region) to come to my house to assess the situation. He recognized the urgency with cutting down a number of precarious limbs and ultimately removing the entire tree. His estimate was competitive and included removing two spruce trees and several overgrown shrubs along the driveway and even some additional feral trees and shrubs adjacent to my neighbor?s property. A couple of days later,
the crew arrived and removed the most dangerous limbs from the oak tree, all of the trees and bushes along the driveway, and all the large branches that had damaged the house.  A week later they finished cutting down the oak tree, the remaining trees and shrubbery, and ground all the stumps along the driveway.
Rob maintained communication with me throughout the process.  He was present at the work site the entire time.  Work commenced punctually early each morning and was completed in an efficient, respectful, and professional manner, including a thorough daily cleanup. Boswell?s Tree Service has the necessary skill, equipment, and resources to take on any job.  I would recommend them without hesitation.

Rob Boswell, the owner responded the same day to my initial cold call.  He had glowing reviews, was near my house,  and was owner-operated [usually owners who participate in their business care more about the quality].
He scheduled the work that day, it was for the following week, less than 6 days away [one very large tree was struck by lightning and a threat to the house], which was convenient for me. But there was one tree that stood alone not near the house, and Rob came out in 2 days and cut that one. I was not home. I came home to a nice clean cut and a new mailbox and post.
Rob explained that one long branch of the tree came down and grazed the mailbox at the curb. So Rob on his own, unbeknonst to me, went to Home Depot and got a new mailbox and cut and formed a new post that was identical to the original. And he did not charge me, or even bring it up.
For the main job, he showed up at the time he said he would, we walked around and discussed what else should be done;  I solicited his opinion about some questionable trees, and he suggested very reasonable solutions [including, do nothing to 1 or 2 of them]. I added one more tree to be cut that was quite large, and he revised the estimate right there, and it seemed reasonable.
My next door neighbor is a lifelong resident of this county [in PA], and his father was an experienced tree cutter, and this neighbor is highly trusted by me [neighbors for 30 years]; he said the price seemed reasonable, and it was consistent with several other rough estimates I had gotten.
Rob himself rode the cherry picker up to the treetops and did the surgery needed to bring the trees down safely. The lightning struck tree could not be climbed [it was split], so he went to the top of a neighboring tree [my lot is wooded] and set up a lever system. So when he cut huge chunks of the damaged tree, he tied a rope around the piece to be cut, the other end of which was attached to the neighbor tree. So when the damaged tree was cut, huge pieces swung free like a huge pendulum, and then was lowered to the ground by his crew on the ground. He did not hit the neighbor tree, he did not slam the ground......it was interesting to watch, for sure. And beautifully done. No surprises, no "oops" moments....
When finished, they cleaned the yard, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. They even blew leaves off my 2nd story roof while he was up in the cherry picker.
He is totally professional, easy to talk with, flexible, and did not come on strong - very polite.
I absolutely would recommend Rob Boswell's Tree service.
