BECKSON'S APPLIANCE SERVICE

I have Kenmore appliances so called Sears who scheduled a call for next day, then called to move out 2-3 days later. I contacted Beckson's and they came out same day to service the dryer. They picked up the motor and repaired the machine promptly the next day. Professional, courteous and great results. Thanks!

Service request call was placed on Tues afternoon and responded to a few hrs later. The service call itself was completed by 10:30am Thurs. It was apparent immediately that the problem was resolved. Consider charges typical for the service provided. Will definitely call again!

Dennis arrived within the time frame that he had told me when I made the appt. I explained the problem and he went right to work solving it in no time. I would certainly call him again for any other problem. Thank you, Dennis!

Very professional. I phoned him and left a message. I then left my home and upon return, I found a message from Mr. Beck son saying that he would try to reach me again in an hour. Shortly after, he did phone and we set up an app't. For the next day. He arrived when he had said and quickly did the work. The dryer has worked perfectly since the part replacement. I was so pleased and just a few days ago recommended him to a neighbor whose freezer broke down. She was getting the run around. She had now been in touch with Mr. Beckson and was also impressed with his professional attitude and pleasantness.

He called back within 10 minutes of my initial call. Was available that afternoon. He came fixed the problem (something caught in the pump), cleaned up after himself. My washer is old and I was afraid it was not worth the money to call for repairs, but I am so glad I did. Me and my old washing machine are back to work.

I left a message for Mr. Beckson on Friday and he responded to my call on Monday morning and was able to come that same morning. He was able to get the part needed and my machine seems to be working fine. The top of the machine is not fitting in place as before and he mentioned he had struggled to put it back in place. I am hoping this is not an issue.

Left a message for Dennis who returned my call about an hour later. He was flexible enough to stop over during my lunch hour after I described the problem with my oven (oven not heating up). He arrived on time with the ignitor part that he suspected was needed. The repair was completed in under an hour. Very professional, quick, and courteous.

I had a similar experience as one of the other angieslist members. I left a message for Beckson's Appliance Service on Tuesday 9/16 in regards to having someone come out to evaluate my refrigerator and I never heard back.

I left a message for Beckson's Appliance Service on Wednesday in regards to having someone come out to evaluate my chest freezer, washer, and dryer due to recent flooding in our home. I never heard back. I tried calling again Thursday, still did not receive a phone call back. Two times, no answer. Two times, no call backs. If for some reason they weren't willing to evaluate the appliances (and I fully expected to pay them to evaluate the appliances), I should have received a phone call back explaining this.

The repairman called me back a few hours after I left a message. It was the end of the day on Monday so we scheduled for the next day. He came right on time. Our 28 year old Maytag washer had started vibrating violently during the spin cycle but we were hoping it could be fixed. Dennis took a look at the situation and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately replacing the $5 part would consist taking apart the machine. Considering it's age and all the belts and hoses that it would disturb he concluded it would not be worth trying to repair it. He showed me how to lube the part and how to adjust the leg to give it more stability. He said it may give us another 6 months or so. I was very happy with his promptness, professionalism and honesty. I will definitely call him again for any large appliance repair.

He came out within a couple of hours of talking to him on the phone. Unfortunately, he pronounced the machine D.O.A. However, he was quick and professional, and I would call him again.

Excellent. He returned my initial call the first day, then gave me a time and day for the initial service. Showed up on time and diagnosed the problem. He called and got a price on the part, then let me decide whether I wanted to repair or replace the range(part was pricey). He also said he was about to go on vacation, and gave me the option of using someone else to do the work. I decided to repair and after vacation, he returned and did the work quickly. Very professional, neat and clean. Price was standard.Would use again without hesitation.

The washer was not draining properly and this would cause it to stop between each cycle. The problem was a filter full of loose change, dog hair and other guck. He showed us how to remove the front panel and access the filter ourselves and then went on to clean the drain and filter before replacing everything and cleaning up. Except for the fact that the washer now works, we would not have known he had been there. ;-) We can now clean that out without having to call for service. Our top-of-the-line GE Profile refrigerator/freezer has been problematic since we purchased it five years ago. The freezer section seems to auto-defrost rather too frequently, leading to melted ice cream, defrosted food, a frozen waterfall down the walls of the freezer compartment and a frozen block of ice cubes in the ice maker. He replaced a circuit board and explained that the ice dispenser in the GE Profile freezers are problematic because of the design, but he thought stopping the auto-defrost issue would help. It did and we are grateful. We still have trouble getting the dispenser to work, but the problem is not because all the ice cubes are stuck together anymore.

We called Mr. Beckson to service our dryer. We did not reach him on the first try but left a message, and he returned our call the same day. He was able to schedule a visit that same week, came at the designated time, and correctly diagnosed and repaired the problem for a reasonable price. The dryer has been working quietly and well ever since.

The range (cook surface and oven) just quit working. Only the clock worked. I called and left a message this morning (Tues) and Dennis called me back in less than 1 hour. He was at my house about 1 hour later (WOW!). He quickly found the issue (wire came loose), let me know this is really an electrical problem, but he would try to get me up and running in th mean time. After trying to connect the wires with what was there, he found he had to replace the terminal block in the back of the oven in order to get the wires to connect (luckily he had the part in his truck) because things were stripped. I am now up a running - everything works again!! Super nice guy, quick to daignose and fix the issue. Would use again in a heartbeat and would recommend to others.

Dennis called back the same day and scheduled a time to come out that worked well for me. He was on time, professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my specific problem and figured out the issue quickly. He didn't have the part, but called and left to get it and was right back fixing the leak. The cost was very reasonable and I would use Dennis again and would absolutely recommend him.

He was very prompt and did the job just fine. The part we needed had to be ordered and what somewhat expensive, but the service was done very well. He even took the time to order and deliver the knobs I needed on the gas range at no extra charge.

The repairman came out fast and quickly solved the problem. He gave us an estimate for the repair. He later called us back and said the parts were higher than estimated. We decided to replace the washer instead of repairing it due to the price.

I called Mr. Beckson and he was able to come out to check my oven within the week. Considering the time of year and the fact that my issue was not urgent, I felt that this was appropriate. He was prompt and did a thorough check of my oven. He only recommended what was needed and was able to adjust the oven on the spot. He was very informative and polite. I would definitely call him again. Thanks!

Called and left a message with Dennis mid-morning. He responded within the hour. He was at my house within an hour of speaking with him directly. He was professional and quickly got to work. Diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, which he quickly replaced. He made sure to take care of the wood floors while moving the oven to work on it. I gave Dennis an A for every category, except for price, based on Angie's rating system which equates a C with Fair. His price was that, fair for the work performed. I will certainly use his services again if I have problems with other large appliances.

Dennis completed two jobs for me at two different rental units. In both instances, he responded right away to may call, arrived on time, and completed in a timely fashion. Pricing was acceptable and in line. I would not hestitate to call him again for any appliance service.

I am satisfied with the repair and the service. I am glad that the response to the faulty part was so quick rather than have to reschedule for another visit.

He fixed the washer, and it is working great. He did the work within a couple of days that we requested him. He was honest and upfront about whatever it would cost - there were no surprises. He accurately explained what services he would provide, and that is what he did. I had no complaints. His demeanor was good - he was personable and everything. He left no mess at all, and it was perfectly clean when he left. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
