We feel that is quick service, especially since there was a storm in the area. The Service Technician was on Holiday break July 3 & 4, but finally reached you July 5, 2015. At which point, you cancelled the request. The roofing team came as expected at 7am on May 26th. The first thing they did was cover my deck, and front lawn with a huge tarp to protect from debris. Within 2 hours they had the entire slate roof and the flat roof stripped and ready for the new roof.
They installed new aluminum drip edging all around, new copper pipe collars, water and ice shields in all gutters and valleys, copper flashing around chimney, 30# felt, Timberline Lifetime HD shingles and ridge vents. On the flat roof they installed 1/2" fiberboard insulation under a rubber roofing membrane.
The crew cleaned up after each major step and, then after they were done, went around the entire property with a magnetic nail trapper to make sure most, if not all, of the nails were removed. They also brushed the shrubs, and raked behind and around them to get rid of all of the loose pieces of old roofing material.
They had the entire roofing process, from start to finish, orchestrated very efficiently. I'd definitely use they again if needed.
The entire job was done by 4:45 pm. When they left you couldn't even tell they were here.

The crew started on time and most of the work was completed while we were at work. We were thoroughly impressed with what we found when we got home in the evening. We had a new roof and honestly we couldn't even tell that there was major work done. We didn't find any nails, broken shingles, or refuse of any kind. In fact, we spent quite a bit of time surveying the perimeter of the house and found nothing at all to even mention in passing. While it is hard to assess the roof itself it does appear that we received a quality installation.
I would highly recommend Bachman and if we have any further home improvement projects we will certainly consider them again.
