Michael Hickey Painting

Michael came out to give an estimate in the spring.  His was one of 4 estimates I had gotten.  The proposal was clear and the price very reasonable.  I like the idea that he does the estimate AND he does the work....not a team of other people.  He called to schedule the work for early July but I asked to put it off and we agreed on September.  He communicated several times as the date was approaching and showed up on the specific agreed to date.  He was very professional and courteous.  Always cleaned up at the end of the day.  No problem with paint chips from prep or paint spots on patio, walkways etc.  Very tidy.  Nice guy, easy to work with and if you need something extra done...easy to discuss that and work it into the job. 

He was very good, a perfectionist! My only concern, I hope he is able to provide more employees to get jobs done in less time, but overall he was terrific!

It went great!!!! He was in and out in no time and the colors we decided on came out better than expected. I can't imagine calling anyone else for painting services.

This was a big project.  Michael did a great job.  He returned our initial call promptly.  He discussed the job and made recommendations on how to proceed.  He gave us a written estimate and stuck to it.  We were able to pay for the work in 3 payments.  Our house looks great!  We will have him back for other exterior painting.  We are very pleased.

Michael did an excellent job. He responded right away to my initial contact call, arranged a time for an in person estimate, and gave a fair price for the job. He was neat, thorough and timely, and I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Before deciding on Michael Hickey Painting, we got three
estimates from painters on Angie's list. Except for one painter all the
prices were close to one another.  The deciding factor was meeting and
working with Mike.  He came out when promised to give us an estimate which
was detailed and thorough. He was very personable.  In just a short
meeting you knew that he cared and you felt confident that he would do an
excellent job. 
He gave us an estimated date when the job would be done.  Mike came on
time and worked through the day   Once the painting was started it
was done within four days.  Mike was professional and very proficient. 
He did all the painting that was agreed upon.  In addition, he
did little things that we hadn't even discussed.  He painted our back
door and garage door. He was meticulous with his painting.  After we
saw the great work he did we had him paint our side porch as well. He did a
great job cleaning up.
Once finished we could not believe how great the house
looked.  Even our neighbors commented on how nice a job he had done.
We couldn't be happier with the job done and with the
entire experience.  We highly recommend him for any of your painting projects. 

It went extremely well.  He is very professional.  He was reliable.  He makes sure that all cracks are filled.  That any necessary repairs are made. He is helpful in the selection of paint colors and makes suggestions when desired.  He is meticulous.  He is minimally disruptive.  He cleans up thoroughly each day.  He is pleasant and easy to work with.

He bought the paint required by our homeowner's association and provided us with the receipt, as well as the extra paint. He came when he said he would and got the job finished promptly. A tropical storm entered the area a few days after he did the work. When the storm was over, he volunteered to come back and check the work to make sure that everything was OK.

He did an excellent job. We had several comments from our neighbors about how good it looked. He did it quickly and he was nice to have around.

He was referred to us by a business colleague. He was prompt for his appointment to review the work area. He responded with a quote in a timely manner. As I said, he was helpful with color selections.He performed the job as promised.
