First, about 2 years after installation I had some minor scratches in the floor, so I called Applegate to ask what I can do about it, and if they can send someone out (that I'd pay for) to fix the floors. Several unanswered phone calls later I gave up. I now noticed some of the finish on the floors is coming off, so I called and spoke to Brian Applegate (who I assume is the owner) to inquire about the warranty. When the floors were installed I did NOT receive any warranty information, so I wanted to find out if there is a warranty and what it covers. I have not heard back from Brian after over a week. The fact that this company does NOT respond to customers after work is done really annoys me. For this reason I cannot recommend this company to my friends who are in the market for wood floors.
