I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was okay, but they showed up and did not know the deal themselves. The owner of the company was one who showed up and did not even know what the deal was for. I think the deal was for a truckload, but they said it was for half a truckload so then I had to show them the Big Deal coupon to prove to them the actual deal. My wife was at home and had to deal with it so if I had not told her, she would have paid an extra $75. But, in the end it worked out alright. It is a little aggravating when I have these people come over and they try to scr*w me for another $75 when I know they know what the deal is. They called me right away after I purchased the deal and came when I wanted them to. Their average prices are high, but the Big Deal is competitive.

"The confusion was because told us he purchased a big deal and in fact a storefront deal was purchased. A storefront is $168 worth of hauling for $110. The Big Deal is $208 worth of hauling for $99. That explains the difference in price, not that we are trying to overcharge our customers. We alway honor the deals and in many cases take more than what is purchased from Angie's List. We are sorry about the confusion, but some of the Angie's list terms for there deals can be confusing to the customers. That is why always look to view the deal coupon, not because we don't trust the customer. Our best customers have been Angie's List customers. We apologize for any confusion and bad feelings this may have caused."

I received a confirmation of my order which asked me to contact Junk King to schedule the pick up.  I called and spoke to Stewart Gritz who was very pleasant and helpful.  I wanted to know if they would pick up items that had been buried under snow.  He assured me that they could take it away.  So I scheduled an appointment for 9:00-10:00 the next day.  They were to come out and tell me whether the $99 deal would cover the amount of trash I had.  If not, the value of the deal ($208) would be deducted from the cost to remove the items.  The next day, I received a call about 15 minutes before the scheduled time to tell me they were on the way.  When they arrived, they surveyed the items and told me it would cost an additional $120  ($328 - $208).  I agreed although, truthfully, I didn't think I had that much to be hauled.  However, once they loaded their truck, I could see that it was full!  Since they had to pull the items from under snow, some of the snow fell  onto my driveway so when they were finished, they shoveled it off -- Great customer service!  They were up-front with the cost, courteous, quick and neat.  I would recommend this service.

We took advantage of the $99.00 Angie coupon for junk removal. The truck arrived as scheduled, and they got right to work. They efficiently removed all the items we wanted to get rid of. They were very careful when removing a large, heavy, old TV from an upstairs bedroom. They were very professional and I would use them again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went very well. We had a lot of paints and so they charged us more than the big deal. We put everything in a pile, I don't think we had to, but we just made it easier for them. They were late, and I had to call them. I would use them again in the future.

They arrived during the 2 hour time window we had set up.  They removed all the old fencing and yard waste that was piled outside.  I thought was was piled there would be covered by the $100 groupon ($168 worth of Hauling) that I had purchased, but I had to pay an additional $40.  The area was completely cleared and very neat when they were done.

Appointment was set on Thurs for 9am Saturday. Truck was there about 8:45. By 9:15 we were done and drinking Gatorade which I provided because I appreciated the workers. Would use again in a heart beat.

I received an email within hours to inquire as to when I'd like to schedule my junk removal.  I got on the schedule easily and at a time that was convenient for me.  The truck and two hulking men showed up on time and within a couple of hours my basement was cleared out of a decade's worth of junk that I no longer wanted or needed.  The two guys who did the job were courteous, professional and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.  My haul was more than the deal I purchased, but that was communicated to me upfront and the additional charge was minimal.  I was truly impressed!  Thanks Junk King!

just had some “Old Stuff” hauled away by “The Junk King”.  Stewart Gritz, 1-888-888-JUNK (5865), is the owner.  They have a crew of guys that arrive load your stuff into their truck and haul it away to the dump.  All the fees were included in the price.  They arrived in a large truck capable of carrying much more than what they hauled away for me.  Their “modern” truck has a winch for heavy items and an easy access ramp. I got their services on special, paying $99 for what amounted to a pick-up sized load, that included 6- basketball sized concrete footers, an old couch, a small pile of wood and a table. 
 
I highly recommend these guys if you need to dispose of unwanted items.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They did a good job and were hard working. However, we did not expect the overrun of money to be so great. We really did not think that for the number of things we were having picked up that it would cost so much in addition to what I had bought online.

The service worked out great.  They communicated with me when they were going to be a little bit late.  They were very efficient when they were here.  They clearly explained the things that could be additional pricing and whether it was worth for them to go ahead & take it.  They were very informative.  The gentleman who was here was very pleasant.  It was a good overall experience.  I would definitely have them come back when I am ready to have more junk taken out.

I had a lot of things that I needed to get rid of. There was a crew of 3 that came. They got everything done in 30 minutes. They did a great job and I was glad to have gotten rid of my things that easily. They gave me several choices for a 2 hour window when they would come. They called an hour before they came and were exactly on time. Their fee was very reasonable.
