Purchased an Angie's Deal for 8 hours of painting for $249. The initial scheduling was a bit hectic, as we couldn't seem to find a mutually convenient time with the holidays & all, but we ended up choosing New Years Eve...and it worked out well. Amos showed up on time & ready to work. He was very nice, polite, professional, and so great to work with. He did a lovely job, and was even sweet to my dog that kept escaping the room we had her blocked in! He even had time to do trim, which was a bonus. Really liked their work!

My experience with Doggrell Painting was very positive. The work was done well and efficiently; the crew was polite, professional, well coordinated. They were a great team and pleasure to work with. In preparation Brian Doggrell worked with me, discussed paints, evaluated the extent of the work, and responded to questions - professionally and cordially. The work was done in a time frame I requested and convenient for my schedule.

I purchased a deal for 8 hours of painting. Steve arrived on time and ready to work. In just that short time he completed more than I expected he could get done in eight hours. He would ask about things as he went along as how I wanted the job completed and was neat and cleaned up before he left. I just had to unroll my new carpet! I highly recommend them. They are worth their full price!

Excellent communication and service with a true focus on the customer. Brian worked with me to find a good date and his team arrived promptly and with professionalism. The kitchen looks fantastic and I will definitely use them again.

On several occasions I needed to dicker with painter about smoothing rough areas of walls and ceilings. Thought windows were included on bid but turned out they were extra (my mistake for not reading contract closely). Some dust from sanding was not totally cleaned up from floor and some dust ended up getting on bedspread at the end of one of the workdays.

They spent a long time looking at everything, walked around. He is just very, very knowledgeable and I'm an engineer myself and things he said that were absolutely right on. He worked with me on several different kinds of paint that are leaders right now, we worked on that together. We came up with the same conclusions on all the steps along the way. He was very good, very patient, he did some of the work he did and we went and saw it. He is very good. He has been around for twenty years too.

They were recommended by a neighbor. We are in the process of using them. The quote was $1300. Everything was fine with the estimate. They were fine to work with in that way. I can't comment on the job as it's not complete yet. I am not sure if we will use them again in the future; it all depends on how well this job goes. They were good with giving me the estimate. I don’t know how they are going to follow-up with the work.

My house is a two story, all brick home. It was built over 50 years ago, as a spec, in a new middle-middle class plan. The brick was both very forgettable in both color and quality. It was first spray painted 12 years ago, which left streaks and uneven color. Upon meeting Brian, the owner, I told him that I wanted a first class job. He studied the project carefully, and explained that proper preparation was essential to that end. Brian's crew was the absolute best that I have ever seen--punctual, courteous, and careful. The price was very fair for all that I wanted. I would recommend Doggerell Painting unequivocally for quality, workmanship, and professionalism.

They did a great job. Even re-did part of the project when we decided the color was wrong. Very professional group, and the workmanship was top-notch.

When I purchased the deal, he came out to provide an estimate. He said that it would take longer than the coupon so I paid extra. They ended up staying less than what I paid for so I felt that it was overpriced. The work was done very well.

All went fine, however their bid was not the lowest and decided to go with different painter

He came in and did some work on two corner cabinets and it took him all day to do that. I had other painters in and they said it should have just been two hours of work. I feel like they took their time because I didn't go with them for the whole job at first. What he did was good though.

I contacted Brian months before he came out in November to do the job - not his fault, but because of my procrastination! He was very patient with me throughout the paint selection, my vacation, my lack of response, etc. When the crew came out to do the job they arrived on time, with the right paints (I had chosen 3 colors), and got to work. They worked among the plants against the house, the electric wires, the patio furniture, and still did a very neat, detailed job. We covered an ugly prison green color with a gorgeous chocolate brown and Doggrell uses a quality paint that adhered nicely and covered well. We made the white parts a soft off-white, and although they aren't as smooth as I would like, after this many years of paint on a house I didn't really expect a perfect surface. We made the brackets and handrails a third color, which is a subtle green/gray contrast to the brown. As you can tell, I had lots of input in colors, and Brian went along with all my changes, answered all my questions, and remained attentive and patient throughout the process. My husband and I went out of town before the job was finished and when we came home the work was done and the house looked great. I even got compliments from my neighbors on the finished product! My one small complaint was that the crew wasn't as careful with my landscaping when it came to where they stored their ladders/equipment at the end of the day. But that doesn't take away from my overall happiness with the job and I would hire them again. In fact, calling Brian to come back and paint the interior is on my To-Do list!

During the preview, they quoted an escalation of the work described in the voucher which was very expensive. I declined and restricted the job to exactly what was covered in the voucher. They arrived on time and performed the work covered in the voucher. They were quick, neat, polite, and worked the entire time specified in the voucher. Recommend them.

They were very quick to get to job. Painting was great, cleanup was fine as well.

Brian thoroughly discussed and explained our needs, then provided us with a detailed written contract that we later, by mutual agreement, amended to included repairs to and painting of one living room wall, as noted above. Brian was exemplarily professional before, during, and after the job, providing us with complete descriptions of what was to be done and a detailed contract, which, btw, includes a guarantee against peeling. His crew was equally professional, taking meticulous care in repairing the hallway and living room walls and making sure that repaired areas had been thoroughly sanded before being painted. Not insignificant is that Brian's crews, per the contract, used high quality Sherwin-Williams paint , worked with care and enthusiasm, and thorooughly cleaned up the work areas after completion of the job. I recommend Doggrell Painting with unqualified enthusiasm.

This company was very professional from the estimate to the clean up. They were professional, punctual and couteous. No complaints.

Very well. I was clear about what I wanted and they executed accordingly. The paint I selected required an extra coat of paint and they communicated as they went. This involved an nominal incremental charge, but it was fair.

The estimate went well. Mr. Doggrell was pleasant and kept me informed as to when he would arrive. Very professional.

They arrived promptly at 7:30 in the morning and worked with few interruptions until 3:00. They did a superlative job with the repairs and the painting. They were courteous and very professional, and when the job was done, they put all the furniture back, swept the carpets, and cleaned up after themselves. They really know their craft. I was concerned that the color I'd chosen just was too light, but they assured me that after 2 coats had dried, it would look just as I'd hoped. They were right. It is great. In addition, the work is guaranteed, so if there's a problem with flaking or something like that, they'll come back and fix it. We've never used a professional painter before, and though they were a bit on the pricey side, it was worth every penny. We're saving up so they can come again and paint other rooms.

We recently moved into a house that had peeling paint in the basement. The walls of the basement are concrete block and had old paint that was peeling off in many places. I did the prep work to scrape all the peeling stuff off, and hired Doggrell to do the actual painting. I had purchase a special Sherwin Williams exterior concrete product. When I called, I appreciated that the owner told me up front that they would not give their standard warranty for this job because it was basement painting, which is notorious for peeling, bubbling paint depending on moisture levels, etc. I appreciated being told that up front, and was fine with it. Two painters came and finished within four hours, which was great (I had purchased the Painter for a Day big deal). The quality of the paint job was pretty good...it wasn't easy because the walls are very rough/not smooth.

He arrived exactly on time and started right in. He was polite and eager to please. I had known for months that sometime they would be coming, but I got the call at 9:30 the night before. This did not give me the time I needed to adequately clean out my "stuff AND sand down a rough surface I spotted when I was moving things away from the walls. I didn't worry because I thought the painter surely wouldn't paint over a gunked up mess like that. Wrong assumption. I forgot to point it out to him.The next day I decided I couldn't live with it that way so I had to sand it down and paint over it. I must admit he certainly accomplished more than I ever dreamed he could do in 8 hours. What he did do was a good job. He didn't even take a break. Overall I am happy with the job.
