B's Hardwood Floor

We hired this company over the years. The third time it was to polish the floors after years of usage and wax. The final coat they put on top didn’t attach correctly to the floor as they sanded to little. We showed them the final coat as it chips right off and because we trusted them over the years we were sure they would have helped us to fix the issue. Instead they didn’t take any responsibility, they laughed at us the paying clients and became aggressive so we got scared and had to tell them to leave. You would never want to feel unsafe with someone in your house. We are so sad an surprised and other professionals asserted the mistake was in sanding too little so the material did not adhere correctly. We just needed to see some good faith and offer to fix it but they did not. We have now to leave with floors that chips for everything, we are very considerate people and we never keep shoes in the house and we understand they can get scratched but one thing is an accident, one thing is when it peels off with your simple nail robbing a bit and been not able to move any furniture even with felts on as it gets scratched for everything. But again several companies showed us the issue was a too superficial sanding and only one coat of polyurethane- they wanted to do a cheap job and it shows! We asked to re do or refund and no responsibility whatsoever. Therefore we are forced to leave this review. Just terrible service and we feel robbed by this company.

Kim was AMAZING ... I am VERY picky about everything ... he started off coming out for a written estimate within days of my call..... scheduled the work for the exact week I wanted it done, answered every question I had and was extremely kind . Most importantly , my floors look amazing ! thanks Kim for having such a great crew and leaving my house so clean and being so prompt !

A huge thanks to Kim and his team for their craftsmanship and labor. The prices were fair, the timeline was great. At no point in the process did the result not match my expectations in terms of price or product. It was a great overall experience and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for similar work.

Kim Phan and his team are remarkable. I had them several years back refinishing and repairing floors in my father's house. He did an AMAZING job. 100+ year old home needed some wood replaced. He replaced and finished so well you couldn't tell the old from the new. So now I need my own floors refinished. Pine that had never been professionally finished. Kim and team came in sanded and refinished my living room, dining room, stairs, and second floor hallway. Kim is a miracle worker!!! I could not be more pleased. Our floors are smooth and finished perfectly. Not only do they look great but there is not a squeaky floor board to be found. I have been in my home 36 years and have been wanting to have this done for so long. When It was finally time there was no one else I would even think of having done it. His quote was extremely reasonable and his work incomparable. We have had much work done to our home in the past decades. B's Hardwood Floors are amazing. They come when they say. Work diligently and efficiently and very professionally, Kim, great job! I am so proud of my home now! I will recommend you to anyone and everyone and I hesitate to recommend professionals to others as you never know. But I do know with Kim Phan and B's Hardwood Floors.!!

B’s Hardwood Floor was recommended to me and I am so thankful that I chose them! Mr. Pham arrived on time to give me the estimate and showed me a sample of what my floors would look like. My floors had been covered with wall to wall carpet for 40 years. When the rugs were removed (not by B’s) there were MANY staples. While we tried to remove all of them, there were some still on the floor. When I told Mr. Pham that I was sure we had gotten them all, he was not bothered at all. The floor has a mahogany inlay and there were 2 damaged areas of the inlay and some small drilled holes. All of the damage was repaired. I could not believe how FANTASTIC my floors turned out. I honestly could not have imagined in my most optimistic dreams the result of my floors!!! They cleaned everything - there was no dust left in the work area and no dust escaped to the rest of my home as they “tented” off the rest of the work area. Also, Mr. Pham clearly explained to me all of the steps of the process that would be used. The price was so very reasonable!!! You can not go wrong in hiring B’s Hardwood Floors!! They are professional, courteous and respectful of your property. When I need service for my other floors, they will be my FIRST and ONLY call!!!!!

Floors look brand new.

Efficient from the time of requesting an estimate until completion of work. Estimate was done same day. Work was completed the week of Thanksgiving to ensure completion before the holidays. I will refer and use again.

B's did a quality refinishing at a good price. Set up good ventilation, no problems with dust. One thing to note, they connected their flooring equipment directly to the house electrical panel due to the high current draw.

Excellent. They were fantastic. They just did a great job. They even put quarter round molding in every room they worked on.

We hired Kim 5 years ago when we bought a bank owned home and the floor was warped and wrecked. He repaired large sections, re stained and finished both floors of the home and 5 years later its beautiful. Oh and we have 2 kids, 1 dog and 3 cats! We called again in October when we had a leak in the powder room. The entire floor and into the hallway had to be ripped out. Insurance would cover the entire 1st floor to be redone but I was hoping Kim could just patch and match and he has. He got back to my initial call same day, remembered us from 5 years ago and called me the next morning with a start date. He was here within 2 weeks and finished in less than 3 days. You would never be able to tell there is a patch, the work is amazing. Oh and they are respectful and left my place very clean. I had gotten another quote from a preferred contractor of our insurance company for $1600 so B's pricing is also very fair. I will never use anyone else.

FASTASTIC!!! Kim met us on time to give us his estimate, started the job on the day he promised, and the job came out beautiful! These floors were very old and came up beautiful. He was extremely neat and left my home pretty much dust free. The price was very reasonable and he was extremely professional! He texted and called us as the work progressed. I would recommend him highly.

Excellent quality for very reasonable price. I received 4 quotes and Mr. Pham's quote was the most affordable. Our hardwood floor had a lot of damage. Mr Pham did fantastic job refinishing and repairing damaged hardwood floor. We were not present at the job site and he did excellent job communicating every step with us. The work was finished on time . We are very happy with the result!

B's Hardwood Flooring is an amazing company. Kim Pham is excellent to work with.... The very first time I called the phone number provided on Angie's List, he answered his cell phone at another job site. Quickly took my information and scheduled a quote appointment within five minutes. With other providers, I had to leave messages and did or didn't get calls back. During the quote visit he did a an assessment of the space, asked questions of us, and then gave us a written quote on the spot. We were very pleased with the reasonable quote compared to other companies and decided on his services right then and there. Also during the quote visit, we picked the start date for the job. If we were okay with waiting a few weeks (three weeks I believe, which we were) then he would be there on the scheduled day. A week before our start date, he called my cell to ask a few questions and confirm the date and stain color we choose. I hadn't picked a stain color yet, but that wasn't a problem for him. Six days before the start of the job, he texted to ask for the stain color and confirm the start date again. Basically, it was just ideal working with him since he was communicative either in person, by phone, or better yet text messaging! The day before the job began, he texted to tell me exactly what time him and his crew would arrive and they were prompt and got to work immediately. Our job was pretty standard except for the foyer. The foyer floor had been tiled directly onto the wood floor...no sub-floor had been put down. My husband did the tile demo and got as much of the glue off while trying not to damage the wood underneath. I was very nervous that Mr. Pham would tell us that the glue damage was too much, and that either the wood would need to be replaced (which I feared would be too expensive for us) or that we would have to abandoned the refinishing in the foyer and re-tile. Mr. Pham called my cell an hour into the job to say that the foyer could be sanded, but it would cost an additional $150. My husband and I were thrilled with that minor increase considering the amount of additional time it would take Mr. Pham and his crew to finish the smallest part of the job..the foyer. He even texted me pictures of the foyer once it was fully sanded while I was at work. It was amazing how perfect they got the foyer floor to look! (And I loved that he was giving me a sneak preview of the ongoing job.) Mr. Pham came to our house three days in a row and after the first two days he would text me with instructions or an update for the next day. On the third and final day he would be at our house, he took my husband and I around (in socks) to see the work, answer any final questions, and give us final instructions. He was ideal to work with in this regard. I LOVE the floors. It is an amazingly professional job from a top notch company. If we ever need any further refinishing work done in our house, he is the only company we will call. The pictures speak for themselves, and the floors are beyond what I expected. But my biggest take away was how lucky we were to find a great company to work with on such a big house remodeling job.
