I thought they did a great job with the installation. I have just had a lot of issues with the ac unit since they have installed it. They first year they said the labor was free but during the 2nd year they started charging for labor which is by the job, not by the hour. So they were at my home for an hour and half and I was charged $800.00. I have decided to switch to someone else.

They’ve replaced both a furnace and put in a heat pump for me as well. They’ve done most of the maintenance on the stuff. There was definitely some issues with the system, but they’ve basically got it all figured out. The cost was covered in a maintenance plan.

It was a very confusing call, because what he was saying, wasn't coherent. What I mean by that, was he was saying that the coolant that was injected into the system was evaporating, but he couldn't find a leak, and it couldn't evaporate unless there was a leak. What he was stating, was contradictory to itself. He said the coolant had decreased and the coolant needed to be put in the system. He charged me to put coolant in the system, but he couldn't tell me how the coolant had gotten out of the system. He said the coolant does not evaporate. If it's not a leak, it shouldn't leave the system. It was the most confusing maintenance call I've ever had because it was doubling down on itself and making no sense. They could have had better clarity. It's very important, especially in technical jargon, or any jargon, when you are trying to explain something to a consumer, that it makes sense. If it doesn't make sense, it comes across that you don't know what you are talking about. They are a good company. I have had both of my air conditioner systems replaced. Just this gentleman, what I would recommend to any service company working with the public, that if the person is unsure, or incomplete in their knowledge, to call a senior representative for clarification. The worst thing you can do, is represent a company and not represent it well. He tells me I need coolant put in, but can't explain why the coolant is leaving. I paid $100 for something that I don't know if I needed. I was unsure what exactly was going on. They are pretty responsive. They came out when they said they'd come out. It goes back, to if you are representing a company or representing yourself, if you don't know, say, "Let me find out and get back to you." I would use them again but I would call a senior manager to get the assistance that's needed. I realize that no one person knows everything. A lot of consumers don't want to hear that. They want answers. When they are paying money, frustrations could increase significantly. I would hope they would get on the phone and get better representation of the problem. When you are a consumer, you want to know what you are paying for.
