Hair Excellence is an educationally based company. Our Designer's are all trained in the Hair Excellence system of hair cutting, hair color and perming. We are "The Master's of Haircolor". We use and sell All-Nutrient hair products that are organic and vegan. We carry the full line of BARE MINERALS makeup. We also carry Farmhouse Fresh Spa Products and skin care. All these lines are natural and made in the USA. Customer service is our top priority.

Have been looking for a quality salon. Called and was greeted warmly by Heather-made an appointment (the next day, by chance-with Heather) Upon arrival, Heather and I spoke for about 10 minutes about what I wanted and her suggestions. Once agreed upon, we began. I was very satisfied with the results. Heather is talented and knowledgeable about her trade. I will go back and will also recommend the salon.
About the salon itself: I never felt rushed, everyone was friendly, the salon-organized and nicely laid out. While Heather is very good, the other stylists were also turning out good results. While everyone there was professional, they didn't skimp on friendliness. Some places believe that being professional means acting snobby and upiddy-none of that nonsense here.
I was also pleased to see that they carry Bare Mineral products as well as some nice lines of hand and body cremes. Heather also assisted me with the Bare Minerals makeup and I purchased somes new product.
I don't give praise where not it's not deserved?this is certainly well-deserved.

They did an excellent job and I would like to recommend them. I liked the setup of the place. It looked very clean and very professional. The people that worked there were very professional, very nice and attentive. They asked me questions and followed through on the indications that I provided. I had an extreme change from very long hair to very short hair. I was very happy with the results. I was very nervous but I was very pleased with the results. I called and left a voice mail and they called me the same day and had an opening that Saturday so I got in the next day.

MY usual GREAT experience! Jamie is the best! They are friendly, on time and the work is fantastic. I would not go anywhere else. It is not cheap, but, you get what you pay for. Jamie will go out of her way to accommodate schedules and does a consistently good, professional job.

We agree with you that we are not the cheapest and would like to share some prices. Jamie is an Artistic Designer and as such her haircuts are $39. and that includes the finish. Clients like yourself who book their haircut in advance within 6 weeks receive a 10% discount on their haircut. Our haircolor is All-Nutrient and we use it because it contains 100% certified organics, is vegan, and gluten free. It leaves the hair in the most beautiful and shiny conditon, making the hair better after haircolor than before.Our hair color alone is $44.75. Our partial highlights are $46.25. neither of those haircolor prices is a finished price but the finish is included with the haircut price. Again thank you for your loyalty and we look forward to your next visit."

I love this place! We moved to PA recently and I hate experimenting to find a new hair salon. I went to Hair Excellence based on 1 review on Angie's List, and the convenient location. When I called for the appointment they were very helpful with directions. On arrival, I was happy to find a roomy parking lot. I was greeted immediately, given a beverage, and within 2 minutes I was going back with my stylist, Colleen. She listened carefully to me about my experience and expectations for my hair. The salon has several rooms, and I really like the privacy. The salon was very clean, and Colleen told me they have monthly meetings on new products and techniques to keep current. During my color application they used a steam hood so the color set in 10 minutes instead of the usual 30-40 minutes, a great time saver, and my hair has beautiful color and is soft. I love the easy-care cut Colleen gave me, it was just what I wanted.

A friend of mine said that Hair Excellence is good. Everybody is friendly and pleasant but I have one particular person I see and I love her. She's great. They play relaxing music, it's peaceful and everybody is really nice.
