Dave Remmey is the best. He handled all aspects of my insurance claim including inspecting the damage, submitting my claim and dealing with the insurance company adjuster. I called Dave Remmey based on other raving, positive reviews on Angie's List just hoping that they were all true. I can say after about 4 weeks of receiving all the checks from my insurance company, those reviews are completely accurate. My issue started when the shower pan in my master bath started leaking to the family room and basement. I called the plumber first thinking it was a minor plumbing issue. When he opened up the wall, it was beyond his scope because of mold and the severity of damage in the ceiling, wall and carpet. Knowing what I know about insurance companies and based on my previous claim experience, I quickly went on Angie's list hoping for an adjuster that sticks out above others. That's where I called Dave. I left him a msg since it was late in the day and he called me back first thing the next day. We set up the appointment and he came by the next day to assess the damage and outlined the next several steps. I knew after that I wanted to sign with him. When the insurance adjuster came to do his inspection, Dave came and made sure he didn't miss anything and added other things that the ins adjuster and I missed to make sure I get everything I need to restore my home to the way it was. Dave is honest, kind, fair, knowledgeable, easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. I've called him multiple times after his initial appointment and he has always been available to answer any questions. I have nothing negative to say about him. I really hope that I will never have to use him again (don't need any more insurance claims!) but if I do, I will have no hesitation to use him again.

We had a fire at our house and not too long after we were bombarded with sales pitches from random people who showed up at our door step a few hours into our nightmarish situation. We obviously did not hire these 'lurkers'. We decided to take time and research our options before committing to anyone. We hired Dave after speaking to a couple more PAs. We have had a very pleasant experience working with Dave. Very professional and his years of experience shows when is talking to the the insurance adjustors on your behalf. Never disrespectful yet firm when is making his point. He also brought in a construction and restoration company, which is reputable and has some great references. Every phone call/email/ voicemail was promptly returned. He kept us abreast of the current status. When other restoration and cleaning companies starting coming in, he ensured we did not sign (which, believe it or not, we were forced to at every step of the way!). We couldn't have been happier with Dave's services. Highly recommend!

Firstly, I did not realize this report had not actually been posted which is why it is so delayed. I have not used Angie's List in a while and saw this review as pending - I thought it was already posted. If it did actually get posted I apologize for duplication. I had work done in my house - replace a furnace and hot water heater. The workers did a fine job on the install but destroyed the old furnace in my basement leaving a huge mess and causing damage. They also made a hole in a wall while destroying it, destroyed the top step into the kitchen and dragged it across my kitchen floor. The first guy the insurance company sent out rejected the claim even while saying it looked like willful damage. Dave spoke with the insurance company and they sent out a new claims inspector who agreed I was absolutely covered. Dave was wonderful handling the whole process. He had an amazing rapport with the new insurance adjuster and got me a very satisfactory settlement. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone involved in an insurance claim.

Dave is a AMAZING. I had a flood in my home and didn't know the first thing about submitting a claim to my homeowner's insurance. I hired Dave to serve as my public adjuster and he dealt with my insurance company and their adjuster. From the moment I contacted him, Dave was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. He came out asap, assessed the damage in my home, and arranged for remediation services to dry the water damaged areas. He then worked with the claims inspector from my homeowner's insurance, cataloguing the damage and negotiating prices for replacements and repairs. When Dave came out to meet with the inspector, he noticed that one of the walls that had been remediated wasn't completely dry so he immediately arranged to have the remediation company come back out and dry it out completely. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and he walked me through every step of the process. He negotiated an excellent payout from my insurance company that was more than sufficient to repair the damage to my home. Even after the claim was negotiated and his job was technically done, Dave was always available to answer any questions I had. The process of hiring a contractor for these repairs took longer than expected and Dave checked in periodically and offered helpful advice and guidance. At one point, when I was having difficulty navigating the process of dealing with my homeowner's insurance, Dave even offered to step in and serve as my representative to make sure that things were okay. Dave made a daunting process much, much easier and far less stressful. He is an absolute treasure.

I couldn't be happier with the service Dave provided. I own a property management company and I used Dave for his expertise to maximize and navigate through fire damage of a rental property. I vetted several public adjusters before making my decision and I did well. The situation was completely handled by him. The paperwork and the aggravation. But he also was able to maximize the financial side with the insurance company in the ways that I could not have. He worked with the insurance company's adjuster hand in hand to unravel this mess till he simply made it go away.

The MOST professional adjuster. Since I have had no experience with adjusters in the past, I had no idea what to expect. Dave did a great job of investigating where the damage occurred and dealt with the insurance company to obtain an excellent outcome. In the future, Dave would be my first call, not my last. Dave was great to work with and handled everything from start to finish. He is honest and friendly, kept us up to date though the process, and was very thorough in his pursuit of the maximum insurance payment possible for our circumstances. Although not everything we originally had in mind ended up being fully covered, Dave was able to identify other damages we had not even noticed and include those in the claim. I have no doubt we ended up obtaining a better settlement than we ever would have on our own, which made his (reasonable and flexible) fee more than worth the "cost" in the end since it really paid for itself and saved my husband and I a great deal of time and hassle. Would definitely consider hiring again in the future for any insurance dealings.

Dave represented me extremely well in front of the insurance company's adjuster, and if he had not been present, I'm certain the insurance company would not have recognized the extent of the damage to my house that Dave pointed out to them and had them acknowledge.

i had David remedy represent me with my insurance company regarding leaking shower that damaged my family room ceiling and carpet, Mr. Remmey is well aware of different Insurance companies requirements concealing damage claim, he advised me to have a plumber open the ceiling right below the shower to investigate the source of the leak, once plumber determined that leak is from the shower bed, Mr. Remmy advised me to get few different estimate to fix the problem, he reviewed the estimates and decided which one was the most detailed to be presented to my insurance, he contacted the insurance agents and set up the appointment, i only opened the door for him and the insurance agent, they talked and took photos and measurements, Mr. Remmey was in constant contact with me during the whole claim process, he guided me through out the whole process ,finally when he received the claim check it was issued in the name of the mortgage company which took Mr. Remmey about a week over the phone to get their endorsement on the check, after i am finish with fixing the shower he will call the Mortgage bank and will meet them at the property incase they want to make sure the work is done, i can not thank Mr. Remmey for his high ethical and professional standards, i was even surprised that he charged me 8% less than i would have given him due to the size of the damage, Mr. Remmey is really knowledgeable in his line of work, he knows exactly what each insurance company requirement, i defiantly advise anyone to have a professional like Mr. Remmey to deal with the insurance companies because he will get the maximum you deserve. i hope i will not another property damage episode like this one but god forbid i fi do i will make sure to call Dave Remmey first.

A tree struck our house during a heavy wind storm, destroying our 400 sq ft deck, a sliding glass door and damage to roof, gutters and siding. I initially went through my insurance company and their assessment of the damage was for $4500. I then contacted Remmey Adjustment and Dave agreed to take our case. End result was full replacement costs of the the damaged items to the tune of $20,000+. Dave responded quickly to all my calls and emails and prompt to address any questions or concerns. From the first contact throughout the entire year and a half process, Dave was there for us every step of the way.  He was diligent in getting us every penny that we were entitled to from the insurance company.  He advised us about how the process would go and what to expect at every stage of the re-build.  Due to the township's ridiculous rules, our re-build took almost 18 months, and Dave was attentive and diligent to our needs from beginning to end.  He was very knowledgeable about what we needed to document and how to document.  He helped us prepare our lists of losses and how to find comparable items to prove how much things cost.  We had a lot of questions and Dave had all of the answers.  He knew the business inside out and backwards.  We would not have been able to get through this without him.  I would highly recommend Dave Remmey to everyone in need of an adjuster.  If you have any type of issue requiring an insurance company, you need someone like Dave to help you navigate through the process. 

Dave responded quickly to my phone call requesting assistance with managing a house fire. From the start his interaction style was reassuring and practical. Dave acted in a very timely manner to facilitate the initial activities necessary to initiate the insurance claims process, and was available as needed to interface with the variety of contractors and insurance representatives involved. Mr. Remmey helped me negotiate with the insurance company to get the compensation I deserve to repair the damage occurred. Dave was exceptional.  He communicated every step of the way,  I don;t believe it would have went as smoothly as it did without him. He was also very kind.  I  broke my ankle during  all of this and he called to check up on me,  Dave even volunteered to help if i needed it.  That was above and beyond the call of duty.
