Stables/Horse Boarding
While the property is quite nice, the care of the horses and attitude of the manager are totally unprofessional. While I was there, for less than a year, 2 young horses died, He actually buried one by the creek. I wonder if DEP knows about that. I believe it was because we were discussing doing an autopsy that he offered to bury it right away. His temper is extremely volatile, and more that one group asked for police escorts to remove their horse from the property. While I was there with 2 horses he nearly ran me and my yearling over with his bobcat intentionally to intimidate me and to keep me from taking my horse out of his stall. One night he actually ambushed me. I am now at another barn, and have found that many of the people there have had very similar experiences. Please do NOT take young children to this facility.
