Joshua and his crew showed up on time and did a great job. They were courteous, briefed me on their progress and thoroughly cleaned up the workspace before leaving each day. The inside ceiling turned out better than I had anticipated (we still need to paint), the roof looks great & the recapping of the windows makes them look brand new. This is the third project we have used American Remodeling Enterprises for.

Went well, and I'm happy with their work.

Everything went better than I thought it would. I was impressed with everyone's level of professionalism. My husband was impressed how the original contract was so detailed and everything mentioned in the contract was done without anyone saying there was additional fees to pay.

The sales rep. showed up on time. However, as soon as she was told I'm not signing today on a verbal quote for approx. $50,000, she closed her sample book and left. I had requested a written quote and she said she would email the quote. The appt. was on 09 Mach 2017 and it is now 03 April 2017 with no email. The office did call and I told them there was never a quote emailed. They said they would check and I never heard from them again.

We went with a surround for the bath area instead of tiles. We like the results very much and the guys were very nice to work with. They were very reliable and showed up on scheduled days. They were very respectful of the rest of the house and covered stairs, entry and hallway with appropriate floor protection. They did not order enough floor tile at first, but worked diligently to correct the problem and order more. They were able to do other work while waiting for the tile. They cleaned up after themselves each evening. We were very pleased with workmanship. Nice company to do business with.

Our roof was a probably about three years overdue for replacement. By the time we finally got around to getting an estimate, it was a leaky, mold-infested mess. Fortunately, American Remodeling was sending people door-to-door in our area offering free estimates. The sales-person who came to our house for the estimate was very thorough. He showed us where all of the problems were and gave us a price. Honestly, we were feeling a bit pressured by some of his sales talk and we actually considered backing out at one point. However, we did some research on the company and saw what an excellent reputation it had. When the sales-person called us back a few days later, he was willing to negotiated and we were able to agree on a price that we felt comfortable with. A couple of days after that, the owner of the company came by our house and we signed the paper work. He even brought some Pink Panther stuffed animals for our kids, which they loved. We set up a tentative date for them to get started on the roof the following Wednesday. This was mid-February, mind you, and a major storm was set to arrive that Thursday. We were worried that the job would be put off. However, a crew of about fifteen workers showed up that Wednesday morning. They were amazingly efficient and hard working, and they were able to finish our whole roof by the early afternoon. This involved pulling up the old shingles, putting the new roof on, and cleaning everything up. A big snow and wind storm hit the next day, so the roof was given an immediate test; everything held up. My next-door neighbor, who knows a thing about roofing, commented to me that he had never seen a better roofing crew in his life. He said that it would have taken any one else several days to do the job. The roof itself looks fantastic. The sales person recommended several colors that he thought would work with our house and the one we picked looks great with our brick exterior. Every time I walk or drive past my front yard now, I always have to admire how much better our house looks. My only complaint is that I did have to call the company back to get them to do the mold remediation, but they sent a guy out within a couple of days. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Kutztown area or any other area that they serve.

After our down spout came loose in a wind storm I called American Remodeling to have it secured. Jason, the owner, immediately made room in their schedule, really secured and strapped it tightly, and then noticing the difficulty in opening the fence gave a solution how to adjust. The rain spout is perfect (and severely tested with today's heavy rains) and my fence door has not worked so well for years. He always delivers beyond your expectations. This isn't the first time he's been that way. Several months ago had torrential downpours that came so hard it overflowed the rain gutter. I found water in the basement. Thinking it was the rain runoff from the roof, I called Jason. When he came to inspect he found the water entered through the electric meter and down into circuit panel. The caulking on the seal of the electric meter and entry point had cracked and was allowing water to enter through the meter and wires. He sealed the meter... problem gone. He takes his profession seriously and cares for your home like it was his own. If it involves insurance claims he goes to bat for customers. I can not say enough positive about Jason, American Remodeling, or the work they perform. Absolutely, perfect to deal with on projects big or small.

salesman was pushy was more interested in my personal vehicles than the job. When it came time for warranty work I called them multiple times to ask them come fix the problems

The work crew was pleasant and polite. There were a few days when work was interrupted due to illness, but this was communicated by the Liad in a satisfactory way.

The job took significantly longer than originally scheduled and it didn?t start on the specified date. Once completed, I was satisfied with the final results.

Installer on time and kept me in formed of his progress four to five hours to complete job. Called on 6/10 recording the handle lock sticking and am awaiting a response P S. on 6/13 the lock was fixed early in the morning.

Took the two men about 12 hours over two days to complete job. Were very polite, probably would have used a thine person. Cleaned up after themselves.

2 workers arrived in morning did their work cleaned up inside & outside and were finished all in 1 day.

They did an excellent job. They had the best price of everyone we called.

Terrible, but I'm glad we found out early that this company is unreliable before they came in to do any work. We won't be hiring them, ever.

1. They promised company employees but used subcontractor. They said the subs had work permits to be in USA. This one really ticked me off because one of my main criteria in hiring was that they use company employees. 2. They promised all Owens Corning materials but substituted other materials. The underlayment was comparable to OC Deck Defense so I let it pass, but then they started using an even cheaper sub-par material when they ran out of the other underlayment. 3. The subcontractors used my electricity without permission and also ripped the outlet out of the wall on my front porch. 4. Still finding nails around the property even though they said they would use canvas to catch all debris and magnetic roller. Jason discounted the price for the use of non-OC materials and other quality concerns I had but I still paid top dollar for the new roof.

The job did not begin as early as projected, and I had to call several times to get updates on the starting date. After a delayed beginning, the workers did a wonderful job. They worked through long, hot days, with very nice results. They even came back on a Sunday morning to finish up and clean up. The house has a fresh, new look, and attention was paid to details.

The windows are nice but our window sills did not look very good at the end of the job. There were cracks that could have been easily caulked. They placed putty in two large holes but we will need to replace that will sill top and bottom

I had the carpet already tore up from the floor, so that was a job they didn't have to do. It went good. It took an extra day to finish than I was counting on so I lost some more hours of work. Rick did a very good job!

we signed the contract 01/29/2015 . We were told their crews were ready as soon as the weather broke. The contract stated the work on the garage would start within 3 to 14 weeks. The garage was to be started and hopefully completed prior to the arrival of the basement walls and delivery of the house. They finally came and dug the footer for the garage on 04/28/2015, 12weeks & 5days later only after several calls giving them the date of the house delivery of 4/27/2015. the contract stated that the entire project would be completed within 3 to 14 weeks, We wanted the garage finished prior to the house delivery to store things from the home we were selling. We were assured by the sales person that the garage would be completed before the house was to be delivered. We purchased the house with out a roof(shingles)at the suggestion of the sales person , because of tin roof that AR would be installing . On 4/24/2015 we called AR to let them know the house was coming on 5/13/2015. They never ordered the tin until after the house was delivered, they came the day after delivery and put membrane on the house assuring us that it would protect it form leaks { IT LEAKED throughout the entire new house, pouring rain from all the ceiling light fixtures, soaking ceiling sheet rock and causing a mold problem in the entire house } , They came back with blue tarps and nailed them down. Weeks went by until the tin came and they started to install it. 8/4/2015 was 14 weeks after they started the entire project, it then took them another 105 days to complete. They finished the garage on 11/17/2015. Within a week we had more rain and it LEAKED! I got on the website for the metal company and watched the how to install video . My roof, according to the manufacturers instructional video is not installed correctly. I called Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation for help,They said it was not their problem and call AR.By December 31,2015 we made several attempts to contact the subcontractor and AR, they would not answer or return calls. At approx. noon on 12/31/2015 the secretary of AR answered and she said she would talk to Jason and call back. I got three contractors in to give me their opinion. All three say it needs to be replaced there is no way to repair. On 1/7/2016 I finally received a return call from AR, Talked to Robert from AR and said that the roof is not installed correctly, He yelled "They have been doing roof a long time, it is done right", I said send your insurance man out and talk to me . I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM YET , IT IS NOW 2/3/2016 with no return calls to try to resolve the issues. On 1/14/2016 My lawyer sent a registered letter and still have not heard any thing as of this date.

All went smoothly. End result was a great clean look. Fred had to cut some of the metal roofing away so the gutter would be right up against the wall of the shop. We were kept up to date on the date of installation and we were very happy with the end product. We would definitely recommend American Remodeling and we may have some window work done in the spring.

It was very important to my husband & I to use a local contractor, not one of the many storm chasers that canvased our neighborhood after the hail storm. We also we were looking for one contractor who was able to do all the work, roof, windows, etc. So after researching recommended contractors I contacted American Remodeling & Exteriors. Jason, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He was very easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough when providing his estimate. He also worked with our homeowners insurance company to get additional reimbursement for items missed by the insurance adjuster. He anticipated work would begin approximately 6 weeks from the date we signed the contact, and indeed it did. The roof was the first project to be tackled. The workers, there were 5 of them, covered & protected our landscaping while removing old roofing materials. I was very pleased by the fact that one worker actually rolled a large magnet over the ground numerous times to pickup any roofing nails that may have fallen to the ground. Attention to detail. The windows were next. Caleb & Kenny were the 2 workers who completed the rest of the work on our house. They are unbelievably hard working and very good at what they do. I was shocked when they showed up Sunday, since they got rained out on Saturday, to finish the windows. Really, who works on a Sunday? They are definitely an asset to American Remodeling & Exteriors. From start to finish I was completely satisfied with everyone involved with our project. Any minor issues or concerns were addressed immediately. I highly recommend American Remodeling & Exteriors and will use them again myself.

The deck that was installed is beautiful. It is very sturdy and well built. The crew was very nice. Respected the property and cleaned up after themselves. Built to my pleasure and were great to work with. The windows I had installed last summer were installed with great pride and have saved us due to their efficiency. No mess. Everything was cleaned up and left spotless. Great staff who are easy to get ahold of and answer all questions and /or concerns.

When the men came to do our roof they were friendly and answered any questions we had. This is the second time we had them. In 2008 they put a roof on our home.The guys worked in a timely manner and they were very neat.All of the old materials were swept up and hauled away. During the garage roof project while working on the sky light they had to make an adjustment. Before going ahead and just doing it they explained the situation to my husband and got his ok to make some changes. We would be happy to have them back to our home to do work any time.GREAT JOB! After having several estimates and looking at what was available, I decided to go with American Remodeling. The windows are of high quality and were installed in one day. They look great and I'm sure I will be saving a lot of money on my heating bill. The company called while the work was being done and ask how things were going. After the job was done, Dave and his wife came by to take pictures and discuss how we liked their work. Very nice people to do business with.
