AWFUL! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE WORK. I paid a big deposit on a big job. I was told it would be scheduled for the end of May. I received one phone call mid May saying they hoped to start the job at the end of the following week. Now, it is mid-June and I have left multiple phone messages at multiple extensions. No returned calls, No work done. I even went on Facebook to see if they were still open. They are and they are getting similar reviews to mine. I guess my next step will be small claims court to try to get my money back.

"We communicated with this customer from the very beginning via email. There were many occasions during the proposal stage and also for scheduling our emails went unanswered. After the project was scheduled the lead time needed to be extended due to a large volume of scheduled projects. We did communicate with the client regarding the extended lead time ."

".We suggested a structural engineer in order to Design the under deck supports that was needed to support the deck. The client decided against the engineer and asked to have the entire deck removed . We then provided a budget number which the client was not willing to accept."

Do not hire ,worst customer service ever, at first very attentive but once John got paid and 5 of the trees failed to grow none of my calls were answered.I also spoke to the owner who said he'll look into it but never responded.Spend your money elsewhere.

"IMG_1619.jpeg Attached is the finished product of the project that the client was extremely happy with at completion. The neighbor at the adjoining property was spraying roundup to kill his weeds and the overspray contacted several plantings. The reasons for the death of the plantings was not due to anything Plymouth Nursery had done . The damage was caused due to herbicide damage from the neighbor. We attempted to explain this to the client on several occasions."

Before our project started-we had a meeting with owner Joseph DiJiosia who took pictures and had a plan/computer sketch made of proposed work to be done.Joe was very professional by texting, calling, and making several appearances on the job site in a timely manner.Throughout the project he added, changed,or gave suggestions as to best ways to have our project turn out exactly the way we wanted. Proposals were given to estimate cost. Joe was great in the planning stages giving us help in choosing the correct pavers, wall blocks, colors, styles and plant types. He encouraged us to go to supplier to see actual pavers and wall sections which was helpful to us in choosing right colors and style.Once the project started we had absolutely the best crew--Jose, Arturo, and Balmaro. From start to finish they were always on time, very respectful to us, barely took a break and worked non-stop.They cleaned up every day so nothing was laying around or unnecessary dirt in the areas where we needed to walk or drive our cars. It was hard work, but they were very careful and accurate in their measuring and planning in every aspect of the project.They were always available and helpful in answering our questions as the project was in motion. They also gave suggestions as to the best way to do things.My husband and I were very impressed with their workmanship.Actually, I was sad to see them go-every day the project just got better and better and they made it fun to do this project not stressful.We are so pleased with the outcome. We love everything--our retaining wall,lighted front patio including small wall, our edge stone,the plants and tree, and the colored gravel section at retaining wall and carport. We recommend Plymouth Nursery and Landscape to anyone that truly wants to improve their property--it looks fabulous.

Plymouth Nursery did exceptional work in our front yard. They installed the necessary drains to deal with water pooling issues, repaved our driveway, and completed beautiful masonry work to create the front steps and porch we had hoped for. They also worked with us to design exactly what we had in mind for landscaping, including lighting that really elevates the finished product. They worked closely with us to determine design and a price point. We had a lot of questions in the planning process, and communication with them was clear and effective. The employees were kind and respectful of us and our space. We are grateful to have worked with Plymouth Nursery on this project.

Plymouth Nursery & Landscaping did a wonderful job on our patio project. Of all the companies that bid on the project they were by far the most professional and easiest to work with. Most companies would just give you a written bid so it was hard to visualize the end project, or they would charge you to have a plan designed. Plymouth Landscaping took the time to give a detailed bid along with a visual design plan, without asking commitment from us up front. They really listened to what we wanted and was able to deliver a beautiful design plan. Once contracted we were able to work with their designer tweak the design where needed, mostly due to township bylaws, etc. And they were even willing to separate the project into two phases to accommodate our budget. The crew arrived timely each day and cleaned up before they left. Like any project, there were a few bumps along the way but they always listened to our concerns and made the necessary adjustments. Overall, we could not have been happier with the project! We would definitely recommend Plymouth Nursery & Landscaping!

We chose Plymouth Landscaping because we have worked with them before and have always been completely happy. This time was no different; they did a terrific job. The crew (Jose, Arturo and Bulmaro) started on a Monday. They began work on time and worked efficiently and quietly. At the end of every day they left the front of the house as neat as a pin. Old shrubs had to be removed, as did the old front steps and walk, and they had this completed by the end of the first day. They blocked off the front door and entrance to the walk so that no one could make a mistake and get injured. During the project, there were several days of rain -- and here I want to mention the owner of the company, Joe, because his communication with us was excellent. During the days of bad weather, we knew when the crew was coming and when they weren't; we didn't have to rely on the weather to tell us, or make us guess. During the rainy days, the walkway remained very neatly blocked off. Once the weather improved, the crew finished the work just as efficiently and quietly as they began it. They also weeded the beds around the house, which improves the look of things quite a bit. I want to mention Joe again for two reasons. One is that he designed the top step to make it safer for a family member who uses a cane. He put the top step at the level of the doorstep, eliminating a potential trip hazard. The other reason is that he redesigned the drainage from one of our gutters so that rainwater and snow melt now disperse into the yard, as opposed to draining on the driveway, which in winter always left a hazardous patch of ice. This wasn't actually part of the project but he saw a problem and took steps to fix it. I would also like to mention that Jose, Arturo and Bulmaro were very friendly and thoughtful. Every day that they were here they brought our newspapers to the back door, which was very helpful. Even such a small gesture shows the kindness of the crew, and reflects the character of Joe, the man who hired them.

I was very pleased with the proposed work, however we decided to postpone doing the work at this time. Joe was exceptionally professional and I felt he would do a great job. We decided to repair our front pavers at this time, due to cost. However, would consider this company for future landscaping and paver patio in the future.

We cannot say enough about Plymouth Nursery. Since the project was completed last week, we have spent some time each day sitting on our new front porch admiring the beautiful work they did. Start to finish, the project went perfectly. It began with Joe meeting with me to talk through possible designs. We wanted to have our dated stepping stone pathway replaced with EP Henry pavers. We used to have a concrete slab at our front door with a covered porch. Joe suggested that they continue the pavers over top of the existing concrete slab. That had never occurred to us but as soon as he suggested it, we agreed it was a great idea. Then a couple weeks later, he came by again and showed me a large plot of the computer drawing that they had created of our proposed design. I was so impressed with the professional quality of it - it looked just like our house but with all new landscaping. We did get a couple other quotes just to be sure we were being diligent in our search for contractors but it was a no-brainer decision to go with these guys. The project started on time and finished on time and everything went very smoothly. After they started laying the pavers I changed my mind about the pattern and wanted to add a border. I know this added a bit of rework and required them to get extra pavers in the border color but Joe made the change and didn't even charge me extra for it. The end result is beautiful, it came out far better than we even hoped it would. And having the pavers continue onto the front porch makes it feel like we have a whole new patio to enjoy. So to summarize, they do great work, they communicate very well, they are very reasonably priced, and they even take Visa (for no additional fee). How can you go wrong???

We could not be happier with the excellent work done by Plymouth Nursery. Our patio and stone wall are gorgeous. Everyone whose seen it has commented on how beautiful and well done they are. Joe DiJiosia was great to work with. He listened to our ideas, made some very helpful suggestions, and checked in often to see if we were satisfied with the progress of the work. The three men who installed the patio and built the stone wall, Arturo, Jose, and Bulmaro, are really artisans. They were very creative and detailed oriented, masterful in constructing the wall and patio. It was clear that they took a lot of pride in their work. When the work was complete they cleaned up the area, graded the surrounding lawn and planted grass seed, which is already growing well. We highly recommend Joe and his crew. They are the best!

Joe was very professional and responsive. His crew did an amazing job, was courteous and extremely neat. They designed a new entry way using pavers and designed and installed new plants. I am a visual person and Joe came out several times to help me visualize what he had planned. We have been in our home 30 years and have had many remodeling jobs done and have experienced contractors trying to nickel and dime us. This was not the case with Plymouth Nursery. They quoted us a price and didn't try to upcharge us for any changes we made. I would highly recommend Plymouth Nursery. The price was fair for what we received. Our neighbors are stopping by and commenting on how great it looks!

IF it was not for a family member offering to do the job labor free I would have hired Joe. I could not ask Joe to match the price I was given out of fairness to him and his business. At first, Joe showed up on time and was enthusiastic… Impressed, my wife and I signed the papers with a down payment to perform the work.. In the early phases, work and craftsmanship seemed solid … Then, the communication process completely fell apart with promises made that were never fulfilled and we were left with an unfinished product not up to the specifications that were initially agreed upon ... I now fear, with a complete cut off of communication at the end of our project from joe with several unanswered texts, that any warranty promised will not be honored… Buyer beware. -First, TIMING was a big issue and it only got worse after a large payment stopped work within nearly hours of payment and did not return for over a month … in addition to a delay in the beginning, supposedly due to rain, we were left waiting for months after the initial start date and, to this day, still have not seen full completion or even a follow-up to complete items which were agreed (plantings, pooling of water / proper drainage, among other items). I get it, things happen, but we were told the job would take weeks and in the end it took ~6 months and is still not complete. -Second, COMMUNICATION on the surface was good at first.. but, when it came down to the important things … picking out the stone, for example, we were told that we would sit down and discuss the best options in person along with other items – that never happened and we were left on our own to do so. Also, many of the day to day items were left to the crew, where English is not their first language and sometimes it was hard to communicate if they actually showed up on time when promised when i was waiting (over and hour every time) to go into work late several times (traffic was the excuse at least 3 times)..… There were a number of important items overlooked and lost in the shuffle; including keeping the entire patio level with the back of our house so that we can walk out of our sliding doors with no steps – one of several items turning out to be a very important and annoying issue now. We ended up having to send a list of items which we asked to be addressed and/or explained and nearly all were ignored. --PROMISES BROKEN: We were described a number of landscaping items to be included in the beginning planning (one meeting and several phone calls in detail) .. Then signed a contract with a detailed planting schedule included and inquired later into the project on where we were on landscaping.. To our surprise, we were told that was now NOT included.. trees, shrubs, an number of plants which add up to a decent amount of $… Finally, after a number of phone calls – we were given an apology, told it was an error from the person who drew up the plans (not our misunderstanding) and 100% promised the plantings would be provided and still to this day (nearly a year since the start) THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. -In the end, my wife and I consider ourselves very fair and easy to deal with, but this process ending up being quite painful. It should have been an exciting time to build our little outdoor oasis, but it turned out to be a whole lot of hassle and disappointment, especially as we are left trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces and finish the project. There is no excuse for broken promises, exceptionally long delays, left waiting to meet for over an hour a number of times, shoddy work and leaving a job undone with unhappy customers. We would NOT recommend hiring Plymouth Landscape for stone work.

"A very unusual situation for my company, let us explain. TIMING...yes last spring and summer were difficult because we had the most rainfall in decades. Their back yard is level and it was mud for months. COMMUNICATION...I returned text message within minutes, emails the same. Always returned phone calls. I always suggest clients visit the supply yard to pick colors ( as recommended in the installation manual ). The level of the patio was changed by the client after they decided to install a new door. We changed the layout and added a new step ( no charge ). PROMISES BROKEN...This was a hardscaping project. Plants were added on the plan for effect. The written, signed Proposal has NO list or mention of plants. If the plants were to be included, a list with size and quantity would be on the written proposal. After a consultation about the plants , client agreed and said it was assumed the plants were included. We are sorry this situation occurred. As indicated by the overwhelming number of positive reviews, this was a very unusual situation."

Simply put Plymouth Nursery is the best in this entire area. Joe DiJosia has a great eye for design. They have been doing work at my house for nearly twenty years. They transformed our exterior when we first moved in, and have continuously performed small and large jobs over the years. We finally repaved our front patio to match the work in the rear. I'm only sorry we waited so long. I have recommended them to friends and family over the years and EVERYONE OF THEM had a positive experience.
