Excellent service, with prompt and professional communication. We are so pleased with the finish of our roof. We waited less than a week between quote and the start of work. The roofing work was complete by late afternoon. No mess, no fuss. Adam kept us informed of the process from start to finish. This company was recommended to us by a friend, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends, family and neighbors.

Our project manager was Bill and he was great throughout the entire project. He was in constant contact and sent lots of photo ideas to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. The men who installed the windows, siding and gutters were also fantastic. We were very pleased with their detailed work. We were happy to recommend Apex to our friends and neighbors!

Initial impression was very good - Bill Eyre was quick to respond to my request for a quote, very thorough and very knowledgeable. He explained my options, answered my questions, and followed up several times when my HOA approval took longer than expected. The day of the replacement went smoothly. Winter, the crew foreman, was hands on and very helpful. The team was efficient, well organized, and did an amazing job cleaning up. All in all a positive experience!!

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS! I had the window install and roof done during lockdown for Covid 19. First I agreed to do the roof only as it was April early in the lockdown and we weren’t sure what the rules were in my county. When the roof install took place the foreman and crew wore face masks but left germy cigarette butts in my driveway. Not to mention 30 + nails I found in my yard and on the driveway. I had requested a list of the crew names in case tracing would be necessary but they just ignored that request. I was leary after the roof and decided to delay the rest of the project as it didn’t seem like there was appropriate training for Covid precautions or basic respect for customer property and safety. When the crew came to pick up the siding they brought on roof day ( siding job was yet to be scheduled as I wanted to see how Apex handled Covid precautions before letting a crew on the property at ground level.). The guy who picked up the siding tore up the front lawn with his truck so I had to make a bunch of phone calls to get them out to patch and seed. When I canceled the siding and stone work. Again. Combative response from James threatening to bill me for the stone and deliver it to the house. I reminded him that due to the virus I only authorized the roof. He said I’d need to pay for the custom window order and pushed me to schedule the window install. There were only two windows and they were at the house 5/8 from 8:40 am till 2: 30. The windows were caulked so poorly as if they went out of their way to do the job poorly. See pics. The response from apex owner James was combative and nasty. Like it was my fault for not calling right away. It was two weeks later when I was putting up curtains. They acted like it happens all the time and they would send another person out to redo the caulk. I had closed off the two rooms for a week and a half after allowing someone in my home and I didn’t want another one of their careless people in my home again. See texts. BUT THATS NOT ALL!!! Our first heavy rain over the 7/10 weekend revealed that my new roof leaks in heavy rain. My old roof didn’t leak. But now my new one does. See pics. So I sent a text. James true to form right away said it was a chimney problem. Again it was My fault since he said he told me there was a mortar issue with the chimney. And he gave me the email address and phone # for GAF who issued the warranty. Not sure why if he insists it’s a chimney issue. The right response would have been we are sorry you having trouble with your new roof we’ll send someone out to check it for you. But I was told it was my bad since apex was going to do the stone veneer and I canceled it. So roof that didn’t leak before install now leaks so my fault for canceling stone job. So now I’ll probably get the age old it’s not the install it the manufacturers. And vice versa from the manufacturer. A GAF rep left a card. But I’ve heard nothing further from GAF or APEX. I guess they just hope I’ll go away. So all in all instead of enjoying my 32K remodel this summer I get to complain on Angie’s list and decide if legal action is warranted. I paid for. $9300 worth of sub par work and a whole lot of hassle. I took a lot of time to research this job and have been disappointed and disrespected by Apex. Don’t make the same mistake.

Outstanding. From the moment that James Ervine came out to give an estimate through job completion, the entire process was seamless, efficient, professional, and perfect. I cannot rate highly enough. I cannot recommend highly enough. The project manager, Winter, did a great job. The crew was done in a day and a half. Once completed, the clean up was immaculate.

Thank you for installing a great quality roof as well as responding to our minor leak issue created by a leaky vent. We appreciate the follow-up and are happy with the end result. I redact my previous review

There's nothing worse than spending a nice chunk of change on a roof and to have a leak within a few months after install. These things happen but what the company decides to do about it is the true test. The initial consult was great, the crew was quick and clean but after 3 months we started to get leaks where we've never had them before. Once they finally got back to us they had no resolution other than "let's wait until it rains again to see if it leaks again." So in the meantime we have water stains and water damage in our kitchen with no resolution. They also cracked our sidewalk with their equipment and again no resolution. If you want to spend a fortune and have the job done in a day then these are your guys. But if you're looking for quality work with good customer service then look for someone else. Very disappointed and still hopeful they can resolve these issues.

Bill Eyre followed our project through from sales to completion. We especially liked that he kept us informed at each point along the way, and was unfailingly courteous and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. Apex also had the best price of the three estimates we sought.

I highly recommend Apex Roofing & Exteriors. I contacted several roofing companies for roof removal and replacement for residential home. Initial appointment was made and a couple days later Bill from Apex arrived on time. He was friendly and informative on roofing options. I also wanted a couple of other external repair issues, not specific to the roof, repaired by them if possible. It was agreed they would examine the two areas but any repairs might require additional cost in addition to the roof estimate. After receiving all the estimates I contacted each company for further information regarding work to be done. The owner of Apex phoned me to personally discuss my questions. About half of the roof required a flat roofing system and Apex was the only one to offer a TPO system. Even though TPO is a more expensive flat roof system, Apex’s price was still in the middle of the various estimates. Once I committed, an appointment was made for work about 10 days later. Workers arrived on time at 7:30AM and the entire roof was removed and installed the same day. The other external repair issues, while minor, still required repair time and some additional material but Apex did not charge any additional fee. Roof looks terrific. For 27 plus years, rain water has flowed over the gutters and onto the ground soaking the backyard. During that time I have had a few roofing companies out for minor repairs and a couple of gutter replacements. Always told the pitch of the roof was too low and water from any hard rain would flow over the gutter. Apex Roofing said there were issues with the old roof and the new roof would not have that problem. First hard rain was today. NO flow over! NOT going to miss watching the rainwater waterfall or the soggy ground. Apex did it right!

Apex did an outstanding job. First Apex responded quickly with a written estimate. They installed temporary siding to protect the house while the replacement siding was on order. They got an exact match for the existing siding. They performed the work on the time line promised in an exemplary manner and for the estimated cost. All personnel were at all times prompt, professional, and friendly. I would do business with them again, and I recommend them to others.

All went well. Bill was very responsive and helpful in getting us the information we needed to make the necessary purchase discussions. James was very helpful in pulling the entire project together and helping us make the final decisions. We wanted to install specific patio sliding doors as part of the project; James/Bill worked to find the best doors for our project even though the ones we went with may not have been ones they regularly install. We have a few punch-list items for the project, but nothing of significance to be addressed. Bill and James were great to work with, their installer was professional and we will not hesitate to use APEX again for any other similar exterior work we may have to address with our house.

Extremely well. It is a well organized crew that worked tirelessly for 2 days. As promised they left the area in good shape. They cleaned up the entire time they worked on laying new materials. the boss checked on the job and the foreman ran his crew well. Even the folks who dropped off and picked up the dumpster were a pleasure.

Great. Service was very good. price was excellent, lower than my other estimates. The owners were there to check on things regularly .They came out and talked to me, told me what they would , how it would be done and broke down all the costs involved. It was done as promised, it was done without a big mess, and it looks absolutely great!!! People on the block have come by to look at it. Just a note: the first night they came , I had a rug in my car that I could not get into the house. I asked them if one of them could carry it in. The rug was brought in. Before they left my furniture was moved and the rug put down for me. That was certainly a very welcome and very unexpected gesture. I am very glad I used then and I refer them without hesitation.

James was great to work as was the rest of the Apex team. We called another company in Malvern, PA and their estimate was significantly higher (8-12k). We called Apex and James was there the following day and walked us through everything, and offered a more reasonable price point. Apex used high quality materials, installed new ridge vents, ice dam shields, new underlayment and replaced a few damaged boards. Clean up was terrific as well. I wouldn't hesitate to use Apex again or recommend them to someone looking for a new roof. We will most likely contact them again in regards to a new patio.

When interviewing companies, competition was very intense. James' presentation was careful and complete, answering all our questions. When the scheduled day arrived, the crew arrived on-site and went to work without delay. The foreman named Winter oversaw everything, making sure all proceeded correctly. Cleanup was thorough and the dumpster was removed within a day or two. We are very pleased with the results.

I kept putting off replacing my roof. My reasoning was that I am skeptical of roofers telling me horror stories in order to get me to purchase a new roof. From the moment I met the owner of Apex, James Ervine, I felt at ease. He had a number of interesting suggestions and ideas that I had not heard from other roofers. I just felt confident that he and his crew would do the best possible job and I was right. I was concerned that the date of my installation would be postponed due to inclement weather prior to my scheduled date, however, it never was. They came and finished in one day in addition to doing an excellent job of cleaning up. I highly recommend Apex.

I learned of Apex roofing and exteriors via a neighbor who hired them to replace their roof. James at Apex gladly spent as much time as we needed to go over our goals for our roof replacement project, including discussing with us our various options and explaining in ways that we could understand the roofing industry "lingo". Apex gave a competitive bid, not the highest, and not the lowest. When rain was forecast for the job start date, James called us the night before to discuss alternative dates, should the rain ensue. His foreman on the job site was helpful in discussing how they would clean up the debris (they use a big magnet to find stray nails on the ground. Who knew?). All in all this was a very positive experience. I would use Apex again.

Owner showed up on time and provided a price for a straightforward roofing job. We contracted with him to show up on a certain day and time with the understanding that rain would delay the start date. On the appointed day and time, work began. The job was done within the day, the work site was cleaned up and all debris was removed.

Apex was great to work with. We chose Apex after getting 6 different quotes on the project. They seemed to be the most thorough in the scope of the job and the price was reasonable. James was great to work with and guided us through the whole process. The crew that showed up day of was professional and timely. They did excellent work. Would definitely recommend.

Compared a few vendors in the Malvern/Paoli area and felt Apex was the best in both price, warranty, and professionalism. Replaced the roof with no issues and were very professional and responsive through out the process. Would hire again.
